EPISODE 912 ANNOUNCED!
We have received the name of the movie that will be riffed in episode 912 of MST3K...and something more!

The movie will be:

THE SCREAMING SKULL

(1958, US, B&W)

Directed by Alex Nicol.
Starring William Hudson, Peggy Webber, Toni Johnson, Russ Conway, Alex Nicol.

Movies Unlimited says:
Macabre camera compositions highlight this shocker about a man's cruel head games to drive his wife mad, and thereby gain her fortune. He leaves a bunch of weird skulls lying around, animating them and manipulating his wife's hysteria.

TV Guide says:
Hudson plots to drive his new wife crazy in order to get his grubby hands on her fortune. He places skulls all around the house, in the hope of sending her back to the mental asylum where she had once been treated. At first the gardener seems to be the culprit, but eventually the finger is pointed at Hudson. On another level, the old adage "the butler did it" fits here--Nicol, the director, cast himself as the butler.

But wait, there's more! Also appearing in episode 912 is...A SHORT! That’s good news by itself, of course, but this short marks an MST3K first:
The short is...hold on to your hats...A GUMBY cartoon!

Its title is Robot Rumpus. According to a brief visit to some Gumby websites, Robot Rumpus was made in 1956, which means it was probably first shown on the old "Howdy-Doody" show. The plot:
Gumby's plan to get a group of robots to do his Saturday chores backfires when the robots go wild! Can Gumbo, Gumby's fireman dad, save the day?

Brace yourselves, gang. This looks like a wild one!

Opening: The nanites take on the mites, and it doesn't go well; meanwhile The Mad Goth (aka Bobo) is getting more attention than goddess Apearlo.

Host segment 2: Tom comes down with Roji Panty complex, while Pearl and Observer have no luck with Bobo.
