Brian Quigley is facing serious financial trouble. His house has been taken by the bank, as has most of his property and his car. He discovers by chance that the dreaded Imelda, Ambrose's mother has a bit of money put by and so he butters her up to try and get her to invest it with him. She is not taken in by him, but she admires his determination and agrees to let him have the money she was saving for Kieran. Meanwhile Ambrose is worried about his job so Siobhan, Brendan, Padraig and Michael organise a crimewave in BallyK to prove that a Gard is needed. Donal proposes to Sue Ellen, but she dumps him when he loses his job. Donal takes it out on Liam who told him what Sue Ellen is up to. However, Niamh has a phone call from Assumpta which is set to shock the village. Assumpta has got married in London, but who to???
