Late Lunch arrives! Ruby Wax christens the virgin sofa (still covered in plastic!), and can't sing coz she's not got her specs!

Jackie Collins plays darts against Eric Bristow, and we see Susie dressed up as a bloke on thier "Thrill" song!

Paul Nicholls gets v. embarressed when half his life appear in the audience.
Wednesday 8th April 1998
Linford Christie has an egg and spoon race against Swindonian Melinda Messenger and gets thrashed, we see Mel and Sue's brassierres!!
Thursday 9th April 1998
Melly and Susie speak to Bazza Norman and groove to Ultra's v. fine sounds.It also transpires that our beloved Susie has been making appearances on the BBC's "Points Of View" under the disguise of a little girl. You don't fool us for a second!
Tuesday April 14th 1998
Lawrence Dallagio and Jeremy Guscott entertain us, we see Mel in a HIDEIOUS jacket, and Melly and Susie turn into South Park (and say many bleeped words!) for the ending.

Mel is a bit snuffly today, poor lamb! However, this does not stop her tangoing with Clive James, while Sue makes do with a lucky audience member!

Bianca and Rikiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiie park their EastEnd bottys on the sofa, Sue changes the name of Albert SQUARE to Albert STREET (easy mistake, could happen to anyone love!). Melly and Susie show us their fabulous multi-lingual skills when they sing us a song all about footy...in French(ish).

Today 3 fifths of Boyzone come and eat Stephen's food (the cooking's back peeps!) with Mel and Sue. This show seemed to have a very Light Lunch feel to it! Stephen croons for us, Sue admits she is a plum, and we are taken around Croyden!
Thursday April 23rd 1998
Top day time TV presenter Richard Madeley (ggggggrrrrr!!!) gives us graphic detail of his vasectomy (ouch!), then goes on to play Spice Girl crazeeeeeee golf with Roland Rivron (thanks to angie for remembering his name!) Sue's friend Clare makes an appearance, and Mel's "friend" Daisy....um....doesn't!

The fab Julie Walters comes with her coffee (or tea, whatever it was!) to have a chin wag with Mel ane Sue, and Sue manages to insult the entire population of Scotland and all Man City supporters.

We are entertained by Gillian Taylforth's anacdotes of the goings on behind the scenes on EastEnders, and Patrick Kielty makes rude comments about Mel's Irish accent!
Thursday April 30th 1998
Ickle Ronnie Corbett comes and cooks a salmon thing, the Light Lunch feel is back! Prince Naseem comes to eat (rather than fight!). Mel and Sue also reveal thier beauty secrets.
Tuesday May 5th 1998
Whoopi Goldberg graces Mel and Sue with her presence, and shares the problems of wind with Mel. Michael Bolten sings his little heart out and even gives Whoopi a copy of his album. How kind!
Wednesday May 6th 1998
Micheal Barrymore comes on, cooks and tests Sue's improvisational skills to the limit! He also spends a lot of time holding Mel's hand, and they all sing a lovely rendition of "Zip-a-dee-doo-da". Awwwwwwwwww, bless!! LAST ONE TOMORROW!!!!!

Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursday just won't be the same as Late Lunch bids farewall for a while. Goes out with a bang though, as Dawn French, who helped found Mel and Sue, sits in the nasel hair stuffed (allegedly!) cushions. Mel and Sue reveal thier true identities, and they all sing a boooootiful song about thier summer hols. BYE BYE LATE LUNCH!!!!!!!!!
