Sonny calls Jason on his cell phone.....Jason answers.....
Sonny: (sitting on bed next to Brenda) "Yeah, we're ok. We had some close calls."
Jason: "What about Brenda?"
Sonny: "Right beside me."
Jason: "Have you seen him?"
Sonny: "We're working on it."
Jason: "How long do we have to talk?"
Sonny: "Ahhhh.....I used a deversion code so we wouldn't be traced.....we got time."
Jason: "Good. I have been calling you, what happened?"
Sonny: (he stands up) "My regular phone got smashed. This is the first chance I had to get a new one. How you feeling?"
Jason: "Better. The cops have stopped questioning me finally. Mac said that the FBI has no leads so the department is not tailing you. Only problem, someone else is."
Sonny: "Who?"
Jason: "Jax."
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Sonny: "When did he leave?"
Jason: (stands up) "A....couple days ago."
Sonny: "Well, where we're at nobody is going to be able to find us. Um.....anybody else heard from him?"
Jason: (shakes head) "No."
Sonny: "Well, he probably went to St. Barts for a vacation."
Jason: "We'll know. I got someone looking for him."
Sonny: "No, no leave it alone."
Jason: "Okay. Sonny, what do you want me to do?"
Sonny: "Nothing. Listen.....ah.....I'm making some changes.....and I don't want you working for me anymore."
Silence.....
Jason: "What?"
Sonny: "As of now I am no longer your employer. You are on your own and I'm sorry."
Jason: "Is Brenda still there?"
Sonny: "Brenda has nothing to do with it."
Jason: "She there? Sonny?"
Sonny: "Yeah."
Jason: "I would like to speak with her please."(Sonny hands her the phone)
Brenda: "Jason.....hey."
Jason: "You heard what Sonny said?"
Brenda: "Yeah."
Jason: "Tell me why."
Silence.....
Jason: "Brenda?"
Brenda: (Sonny is pacing in the background) "Yeah, I'm here. Jason listen, it's just like Sonny said. He just decided to make some changes."
Jason: "No. No, this has got to be coming from the outside. Brenda if there is anyone else in the room with you guys, just say, I know you will do whatever is best."
Brenda: "No, Jason we're alone.....Sonny meant what he said."
Jason: "NO!!!!!"
Brenda: (trying not to cry) "I'm sorry.....Look I'm going to give the phone back to Sonny now okay? Bye." (hands the phone back to Sonny)
Sonny: "Alright.....we're going to jump. Take care of....."
Jason: (interrupting Sonny) "NO! You are not going to jump! Wait a minute! I want a reason from you!"
Sonny: "Well sometimes in this line of work you don't get one."
Jason: "What? Is it because I'm stil in the hospital?"
Sonny: "No, even if you were out it would still be the same. Look, take care of yourself and you find a cleaner line of work."
Jason: "Cleaner. Sonny this is what I do."
Sonny: "NOT ANYMORE!"
Jason: "WELL STOP LYING TO ME!!! You out of everyone was not supposed to do this to me."

Jason: "I don't need you to take care of me. I never have. I make my own decisions. Not you."
Sonny: "This is business Jason. Nothing personal."
Jason: "Well you picked a bad time to get stupid, because you are on the run Sonny. With no backup, and a town you do not know.....waiting for a hitman you have never seen. He's good. Led me where he wanted me and dropped me like a pro when he was done. But okay, you don't want me down there. Fine. Because I could get hurt. Fine."
Sonny: "Screw hurt!!! You almost died!!!"
Jason: "No I did not!!! I'm right here in town where you have an organization waiting for you here if you.....if you make it back alive. Meanwhile, there are deliveries to make and I'm the only one who knows what needs to be done. But you fire me. So.....tell me again, why is it a business decision?"
Sonny: "No, this game is over."
Jason: "No, no, no, no, if you're going to turn your back on me, you're damn well going to tell me why."
Sonny: "I'm your friend. I'm giving you.....forget everything you know about my operation."
Jason: "You're my brother." (Jason is holding his head, trying not to cry) "And I'm still waiting for an explanation.....I can understand."
Sonny: "You have become a distraction to me Jason. You are starting to lose.....if I lose my focus, I'm FINISHED!!!"
Jason: "No, no, no.....that's still not it."
Sonny: "It's not what you want to hear, but it's the truth."
Jason: "Look there is only one reason that you would do this and if you can't say it I will.....it's Robin."
Sonny: "You can't avoid reality by looking to blame someone else. As of now you are a free agent, and the last order I am giving you.....forget everything you know about my operation."
Jason: "Sonny, you're a liar. She asked you to let me go."
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Sonny: "Robin has nothing to do with this."
Jason: "Now don't lie anymore Sonny. It's making both of us sick. I know you had no choice, but I don't accept it, and I never will."
Sonny: "Listen, whatever happens, we'll stil be friends. Now, I gotta get going."
Jason: "Where?"
Sonny: "I got a business appointment."
Jason: "What? The Tin Man? Sonny, I mean it.....watch your back. He knows what he's doing."
Sonny: "Take care of yourself.....I'll see you later." (hangs up phone)
Jason hangs up, and throws his phone up against the wall........
