English actor Clive Robertson is said to be under
negotiations to join Y&R in an undisclosed role.
Robertson is well known for his role of Ben Evans
(and his evil twin, Derek) on the now cancelled
Sunset Beach.
Sources close to Y&R said that the show is
experimenting with methods boost up their ratings
which have taken an unexplainable and alarming
dip.
Robertson, in the meanwhile, wants to return
home to relax a bit, and has no comment.
The NEW Opening Credits
With so many possible cast changes coming up soon on
Y&R, a number of different opening credits
to accomodate the actors has been put in place to accommodate who may or may not leave. Changing the opening credits is a long process that often takes
months of planning. This new way,with a number of different
openings to choose from,Y&R will all ready have it covered,in case
major cast members such as Shemar Moore(Malcom) and Scott
Reeves(Ryan) decide to not renew their contracts.
One opening credit in particular is not subject to change. And
that is the one that features the majority of the major cast members up
for big storylines next year. That opening credit includes
Nikki(Melody Thomas Scott),Victor(Eric Braeden),Ashley(Eileen
Davidson),Jack(Peter Bergman),Brad(Don
Diamont),Christine(Lauralee Bell),and Paul(Doug Davidson). What would major opening credits be if they didn't feature the Bug?
Victor (ERIC BRAEDEN) received a nice raise during his recent contract negotiations. He now earns a cool $1.5 million per year
SHARON CASE (Sharon), SHEMAR MOORE (Malcolm), HEATHER TOM (Victoria) and FRANCESCO QUINN (Tomas) will be appearing on celebrity Wheel Of Fortune (aka Wheel of Torture, haha) some time in February.

The show is recasting Billy's friend Brendan. The actor who is currently playing Brendan is moving to Days of Our Lives to play Phillip Kiriakis.
