| Alexander "Lavelle" Harris is one of the 4 main characters who've stuck around since the very beginning, although of the four he's probably the least changed. He's still the comic relief, he's still as gorgeous as ever, and he's still a demon magnet. His girlfriends/crushes include the she-mantis teacher Ms French, Ampata the Inca Mummy Girl, Anya (formerly the Avenger of Women Scorned demon Anyanka,) and of course Cordelia (close enough to a demon when he dated her.) The only way in which Xander seems to have changed is in that he has matured slightly. He can hold down a job now, whereas when he was first out of high school he took a road trip followed by a string of jobs that led nowhere. His grades were really pretty dismal at high school. In fact, he was largely considered a loser (although I don't know why--do Sunnydale girls HAVE eyes?) He can also kick some serious undead booty, much more than many of the others can. But Xander's as insecure as ever, as proven when he split into two parts in "The Replacement," and as beloved as ever, as proven by the fighting of Willow and Anya and the resulting troll in "Triangle." And we all love him. . .right? |
