A Bit of FX: The Series History

Hi! Let me be the first to welcome you to this page, the page that explains a bit more what FX: The Series is, and who the characters you will find in the fanfics are.  First I should mention that the series has been fondly nicknamed "FX" by us, the FXers.

Where can you find FX? If you live in Canada you are in luck!! It has begun to air through the magnificent "Showcase" network, on Sunday nights at 11 pm (our WPG time, anyhow).  Check your local listings!

Meet Cameron Daddo ... aka Rollie Tyler.  Rollie is a main character of FX, known as the "key player".  It is he who owns the FX buisness, passed down to him by Manny Ramirez.  Rollie, straight from Oz, began working with Manny as a young man, and now owns the production company, as well as the loft that comes with it.  Although Rollie somehow "inherited" Manny's daughter Angie, he likes to believe the two of them have a "professional" relationship.  But I think not.

Meet Christina Cox ... aka Angela Ramirez.  The one that Rollie views as his "little sister." It was her father, Manny, who first owned the FX company, later leaving it to his protege Rollie Tyler.  Angie is a smart young lassie, with a tough exterior, but a soft heart.  She hangs around the loft with Rollie alot, helping him out with the business.  She often refers to Rollie as an "older brother" but we know she thinks different of him.

Meet Carrie-Anne Moss ... aka Lucinda Scott.  She is a friend of Rollie and Angie's, whom the pair have known for the past few years.  Lucinda, or Luce as she's often dubbed, is a fine New York actress, hanging off Rollie's every word in hopes he can get her a part in the newest movie Rollie's FXing.  Lucinda and Rollie almost had something in the pilot episode of FX, but things majorly cooled down between the two of them, especially when Lucinda met Rick Forsythe, who was later killed on the set of a movie Rollie was FXing.

Jacqueline Torres ... aka Mira Sanchez.  A hard-nosed IA Investigator for the New York Police Department.  She first met Rollie Tyler and Angie Ramirez when Det. Leo McCarthy was killed, and Rollie was suspected in helping Leo with "dirty cop" business.  Has definitely toned down since her first appearance on the show, and has now grown to befriend Rollie, and slowly Angie as well.

Meet Kevin Dobson ... aka Det. Leo McCarthy.  Probably Rollie and Angie's oldest friend, whom they ocassionally help out with police business.  Prone to the ocassional "you must help me" problem, Leo is otherwise a great guy, cop, and a great friend to both Ang and Rollie.
