Two figures appeared at the freshly covered graves. One was Sonny. "Damnit, Luke! I told you not to be stupid because now your little girl is an orphan. She'll never remember you or her mother just her brothers and aunts. How do you explain that? I hope you know what you're doing leaving her in the care of a Cassadine and a Quartermaine." said Sonny. He left as the other figure approached. "I'm sorry, daddy. You've always known I loved you in my own way, but you never gave me a chance. I'm going to miss you mother. I never got to say goodbye or tell you that I loved you." said the figure. Then the figure puts a dozen roses between two graves and the figure turns so we can see their face. It turns out to be Tracy Quartermaine and she sadly leaves. We actually see the sad side of her that no one ever sees and she soon leaves.
Nikolas and Emily are in the backyard of the Brownstone talking. "Tell me things will be okay and I'll wake up from this dream." said Nikolas. "I can't because this is reality." said Emily. "How did you deal with your mother's death?" he asked. "At first I cut myself off from the world, but soon little by little I came around and I became happy. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of her." she said. "That's how I feel right now. I am empty and full of pain." he said. "Hang in there and stay close to the rest of your family." she said. "Thanks." he said. "Anytime." she said.
Lucky and Elizabeth were out on a walk holding hands. "You did wonderful today." said Elizabeth. "Thanks." said Lucky. "I really loved the song you sang. It touched me." she said. "I picked it because it meant something to me." he said. She kissed him on the cheek. "Maybe you'll sing it for me again sometime." she said smiling. "Maybe." he said smiling.
At V's cottage Jax and AJ were discussing ELQ while V was looking over L&B paperwork. "So what does this mean for ELQ?" asked Jax. "Well, aunt Tracy could come back and take over ELQ with my grandparents' shares." said AJ. "If not?" asked Jax. "Then Ned will get his mother's shares and the other two will be sold inside the family." said AJ. "So whoever owns Edward and Lila's shares owns most of the company?" asked Jax. "That's right." said AJ. V had been listening with interest, but was pretending to be looking over her paperwork.
The girls had gone to bed as Mac and Felicia watched home videos of Robin. They were cuddled on the couch as they both mourned for her. "Life will never be the same." said Mac. "No, it won't, but life will go on." said Felicia. "I don't see how." he said. "You've got two little girls upstairs who love and adore you." she said. "You're always right." he said. He hugged and kissed her.
Carly watched Jason read to Michael and smiled to herself. She was happy that he was Michael's father, but she hated to see him in so much pain. She wasn't particularly happy that Robin died, but now she had a better chance with Jason.
At the Brownstone Jerry was comforting Bobbie. "I can't believe he'd do such a thing." said Bobbie. "Leaving his family in the care of a Cassadine?" asked Jerry. "No. That he would kill himself just to be with Laura. Was he afraid Stefan was going to steal her away in heaven while he was stuck on earth?" she asked frustrated. "I don't think so. I think he loved her very much that he couldn't stand to be without her." he said. "Their marriage was hopeless." she said. "I think he still loved her." he said. "Maybe he did, but that's no reason to kill yourself." she said. "True, but from what I heard was that they endured everything together and they probably decided that they would die together. I made a promise like that with my brother. If he goes, I go too." he said. She smiled at him and hugged him. "You always know what to say." she said smiling.
"How about a Valentine's Ball?" asked V on the phone. "I don't know." said Ned. "Put Alexis on." said V. "Oh, alright. She wants to talk to you." said Ned. He handed her the phone. "What did he do this time?" asked Alexis. "He won't agree to play for a Valentine's Ball." said V. "I can see why because where would it be held?" asked Alexis. "They've started to rebuild GH, the Outback, and other places. I think they'll be done before Valentine's Day. Will you please convince him?" asked V. "I'll do my best." said Alexis smiling. "Thanks. I need to talk to him again." said V. "You're welcome." said Alexis. She handed the phone back to Ned. "Now what?" asked Ned. "I got some info on ELQ." said V. "Spill it." said Ned. She told him everything and then they hung up. "Will you help me?" asked Ned. "With what?" asked Alexis. "Help me obtain my grandparents's shares of ELQ." he said smiling. "Only if you play for the Valentine's Ball." she said smiling. He started to protest, but she kissed him. "Okay, it's a deal." he said. "Good." she said smiling.
The next day Ned and Alexis waited for Lucky and Nikolas. "What did you want to see us about?" asked Lucky. "We're moving out." said Ned. "Are you selling this house?" asked Nikolas. "No, because from now on this is your house." said Alexis. "What about Lulu?" asked Lucky. "She'll live with us and you two can visit anytime you like." said Alexis. "So do you guys like this arrangement?" asked Ned. "It's fine with me." said Nikolas. "I'm cool with it." said Lucky. "Good because we're going house hunting today. Will you two watch Lulu?" asked Alexis. They nodded their heads as Ned and Alexis left. They smiled at each other at the thought of having their own house. |
