SUMMARY

Mo Yung Fok planned to become the leader of all kung fu schools at the kung fu forum held at Shaolin. He decided to head up to Shaolin to watch the kung fu forum between Coy Bong and Shaolin. Along the way Mo Yung Fok ran into Ding Chun Chow, and they began to fight to see who had the better kung fu. Meanwhile Din Jing Sit and his four protectors arrived at Shaolin also, followed by Din Yin Hing and the Big Bad Guys. Din Yee came out to see his farther and caught up with Master Lam, who informed him of the fight between Mo Yung Fok and Ding Chun Chow. Upon hearing this Din Yee charged out to see the fight. When he arrived he grabbed Wong Yee Yin's hands and asked her to leave with him. Wong Yee Yin elected to stay with Mo Yung Fok, who was loosing to Ding Chun Chow. Din Yee then saved Mo Yung Fok's life with his Lok Mut San Kim. Ding Chun Chow laughed at Mo Yung Fok, because he was useless and unable to defeat him. Upon hearing this Mo Yung Fok, walked away in anger as Wong Yee Yin rushed to comfort him.

Later Ding Chun Chow stumbled across, Jong Ju Ming, Ah Chi and members of Coy Bong. Ding Chun Chow and Jong Ju Ming begun to battle with each other. Both used innocent by standers to block each others blow. Ding Chun Chow and Jong Ju Ming fought to a standstill. In order to blackmail Jong Ju Ming, Ding Chun Chow captured Ah Chi. Ding Chun Chow demanded that Jong Ju Ming to acknowledge him as master and kill the high monk of Shaolin. Master Song, was disgusted and refused to accept Jong Ju Ming as the new Coy Bong leader and was killed. Jong Ju Ming and Ding Chun Chow then proceeded to Shaolin. At Shoalin, Jong Ju Ming fought with the high monk of Shoalin, and easily defeated him. Ding Chun Chow was pleased and order Jong Ju Ming to kill the elder monk. Siu Fung arrived in time to block Jong Ju Ming's blow with his 18 Dragon Palm. Jong Ju Ming was forced backwards. Siu Fung then attempted to rescue Ah Chi, from Ding Chun Chow's clutches. They fought and Siu Fung used his 18 Dragon Palm once more to defeat Ding Chun Chow. Having accomplished what he wanted to, Siu Fung made an attempt to leave.

Ding Chun Chow refused to allow Siu Fung to leave, accusing Siu Fung of bringing an army to attack Shaolin. Siu Fung was also accused of killing his Shaolin Master Yin Fu. Many also remembered the lives lost at Ju Yin Jong were Siu Fung killed the Yau brothers. Chin Koon Ching took the opportunity to cause more trouble and asked whether Din Jing Sit would help them defeat Siu Fung. Din Jing Sit refused to take sides and sat on the fence. Mo Yung Fok on the other hand decided to stand against Siu Fung. Din Yee stood on Siu Fung's side. Siu Fung then instructed Din Yee to stand aside as he prepared to take on, Ding Chun Chow, Mo Yung Fok, and Jong Ju Ming all by himself. Siu Fung battled all three men at once. First he injured Jong Ju Ming, then Mo Yung Fok and finally Ding Chun Chow. Wong Yee Yin then rushed to help her cousin, who was disgusted at being defeated by Siu Fung and shrugged her aside. Meanwhile Hoi Juk, had been kneeling inside the Shaolin temple all along. He had been awaiting punishment. The bells rang and Hoi Juk decided to go out to see what had been happening with his master.

As he went outside Siu Fung was preparing to leave Shaolin peacefully. Chin Goon Ching and the others at the kung fu forum wasn't going to allow Siu Fung to leave. Siu Fung realized that he had another major confrontation on his hands, and requested that wine be brought to him. As Hoi Juk arrived Din Yee explained to Siu Fung that they were all sworn brothers. Despite being at Shaolin, Siu Fung, was able to drink with Hoi Juk, and Din Yee. The three men acknowledge that they were all sworn brothers by bowing to each other infront of the crowd. At once Hoi Juk fought with Ding Chun Chow to avenge the deaths of Mo Leung Chi, Master Song, and the elder Shaolin monks. Ding Chun Chow and Hoi Juk long and hard. Siu Fung once more took on Mo Yung Fok and Jong Ju Ming. As they fought Din Yee thought that it would be a good time to die infront of everyone, and interrupted Mo Yung Fok. At once Din Yee was on the ground, as Mo Yung Fok stepped on his face. Mo Yung Fok proceeded to take steps to kill Din Yee, when Master Lam and Din Jing Sit came to the rescue. At once Din Yin Hing joined in the battle and fought with Din Jing Sit. Master Lam took Mo Yung Fok on as Din Yee watched on. During the battle Mo Yung Fok, attacked Din Jing Sit whilst he was not looking and heavily injured him. Din Yin Hing was going in for the kill until the high monk of Shaolin stepped in to help Din Jing Sit.

Finally Din Yee had a reason for attacking Mo Yung Fok infront of Wong Yee Yin. Din Yee did not hold back and unleashed his Lok Mut Sun Kim at Mo Yung Fok, who was able to block his strikes with a sword. Meanwhile Siu Fung easily defeated Jong Ju Ming, and informed him that had disgraced Coy Bong by joining forces with Ding Chun Chow. Jong Ju Ming no longer cared and rushed inside to find Ah Chi. In the process he kills many Shaolin monks. Siu Fung then turned his attention to the battle between Din Yee and Mo Yung Fok. After numerous strikes, Din Yee, was able to break through Mo Yung Fok's defense and hit him above his head. Mo Yung Fok's hair became loose and he looked like a mad man. At once Din Yee wanted to kill, but stopped because Wong Yee Yin requested him to spare Mo Yung Fok's life. At once Mo Yung Fok attempted to attack Din Yee from behind. His strike was blocked by Siu Fung who was disgusted by Mo Yung Fok's dirty tactics. Siu Fung informed Mo Yung Fok that he no longer had the ability to share the same title as him. Upon hearing this Mo Yung Fok became outraged, and rushed to the forest to commit suicide. A masked man arrived, and prevented Mo Yung Fok from committing suicide.

Meanwhile Hoi Juk, and Ding Chun Chow continued to fight. Ding Chun Chow was able to rip the back of Hoi Juk's shirt, revealing a circle marked on his back. Misses Yip watched on and realized that the young monk was her long lost son and remained behind as the other Big Bad Guys left. Finally Hoi Juk was able to defeat Ding Chun Chow. Once he was defeated all of his students ran away rather then attempt to save their master. Hoi Juk, didn't want to kill Ding Chun Chow, so he decided to take him back to Shaolin for the high monk. Misses Yip was proud of her son and followed them back to Shaolin. Back at the forest the masked man urged Mo Yung Fok, to continue his quest to restore the Yin Dynasty by learning kung fu and raising an army. Whilst they were talking Siu Fung arrived and questioned whether they have seen Jong Ju Ming. At once the masked man wanted to prove that his kung fu skills were excellent and attacked Siu Fung. At once the other masked man arrived to help Siu Fung fight the masked man. Both men stopped to acknowledge each other's kung fu before leaving. Siu Fung chased the masked man who had helped him, whilst Mo Yung Fok attempted to track down the other.

The masked man then told Siu Fung to head back to Shaolin as the truth behind his parents death and all of the murders would be revealed. At Shaolin Hoi Juk returned and handed Ding Chun Chow over to Shaolin for punishment. Ding Chun Chow promised that he would change his ways and became a monk. The high monk was happy with Hoi Juk, that he was going to allow Hoi Juk to leave Shaolin without punishment. At this point Kau Mor Chi arrived and explained to the crowd that Hoi Juk had used Siu Yiu Pai kung fu and should be punished. In order to save face, the high monk was left with no choice but to punish Hoi Juk. As he was being beaten by the Shaolin monks, Misses Yip, could bear it no further. She rushed in a hugged Hoi Juk, and requested the Shaolin monks not to punish hers son further. The crowd became stunned upon this announcement. Misses Yip continued and explained how Hoi Juk was taken from her by a masked man many years ago. She then vowed to get revenge on the masked man. Suddenly the masked man arrived and laughed, revealing that he had stolen Misses Yip's child. Siu Fung and Din Yee watched on as the masked man explained how he lost his son, and wanted to get even with the person who separated his family.

The man the masked man was talking about was Hoi Juk's farther. He pointed at Misses Yip, and requested her to reveal who Hoi Juk's farther was. Misses Yip requested that the masked man not to continue any further. At once the masked man took off his mask and revealed himself. At once Siu Fung recognized that the masked man was his farther, Siu Yin San. After acknowledging his son, Siu Yin San, continued. He explained that he was the one who killed, the Kiu-Sam family, and everyone else along with it because they kept the identity of Dai To Dai Gor a secret. Upon hearing this, Siu Fung, knelt in disgust because the evil guy he had been looking for all along was his own farther. Despite this Siu Fung stood by his fathers side. Siu Yin San then informed Siu Fung that Dai To Dai Gor was, the high monk of Shaolin, Yin Chi. The high monk stepped forward and admitted that it was him. He called Hoi Juk forward and acknowledge that he was his farther. He then approached Siu Fung and asked him to take revenge. Siu Fung was about to kill Yin Chi, when Hoi Juk stood up infront of him. Siu Fung then asked Yin Chi, the identity of the person who caused the trouble by telling lies. It was uncovered with Din Yee's help, that it was Mo Yung Bok. Yin Chi immediately attacked Mo Yung Fok, forcing Mo Yung Bok to reveal himself. Mo Yung Bok then revealed the reason for causing all of the trouble. He wanted to create trouble between the Liu Dynasty and the Sung Dynasty, in order to restore the Yin Dynasty.

At once Siu Fung chased after Mo Yung Bok, to avenge the death of his mother. Siu Yin San and Mo Yung Fok followed closely behind. They all stopped in the Shaolin library, and were about to begin fighting when Kau Mor Chi arrived. He stood by Mo Yung Bok's side. Mo Yung Bok, then attempted to persuade Siu Fung into helping Mo Yung Bok restore the Yin Dynasty in exchange for his life. Siu Fung refused and was about to begin fighting when an old sweeper monk appeared. He began telling Mo Yung Bok, Siu Yin San and Kau Mor Chi, how he knew they had been stealing kung fu manuals from Shaolin. He told all three men that they have suffered internal injuries as a result of learning the kung fu without permission. At once Mo Yung Bok felt ill, and Mo Yung Fok attempted to take him away. Siu Fung decided to prevent them from leaving by battling with Mo Yung Fok. The sweeper monk stood between them and prevented them from killing each other in Shaolin. Having prevented the fight the sweeper monk approached Siu Yin San, and asked whether he would heal Mo Yung Bok, if he could. Siu Yin San refused because he wanted to take Mo Yung Bok's life to avenge his wife's death. At once the sweeper monk approached Mo Yung Bok, and suddenly Mo Yung Bok died. Siu Yin San then realized that after Mo Yung Bok's death he had no further purpose in his life and no place to go.

He then agreed to be killed by Mo Yung Fok. However the sweeper monk knew that if Siu Yin San was killed by Mo Yung Fok, Siu Fung would take revenge. The sweeper monk then decided to kill Siu Yin San himself. He immediately snatched the bodies and took them inside and old hut. Meanwhile Yin Chi, demanded the Shaolin elders to punish him for breaking the rules of Shaolin. Left with no choice the monks beat him constantly in the back with sticks. After taking the beatings, Yin Chi spoke with Misses Yip and Hoi Juk, and died. Misses Yip became distressed and told Hoi Juk to look after himself before using a small knife to kill herself. Hoi Juk cried in disbelief that moments after finding out who his parents are that they are now dead. Suddenly Chin Koon Ching entered with fellow Coy Bong members urging the Shaolin monks to kill Siu Fung and Siu Yin San, to protect the Sung Dynasty. The elder monk decided to ask Hoi Juk, whether he was going to help Siu Fung. Hoi Juk was still in grief, decided to ask the monk to do nothing for the moment. The monk then told Chin Koon Ching that he would discuss plans to capture Siu Fung after he buries Yin Chi. Later Din Yee revealed to Master Chun and Master Ng, of Coy Bong that Chin Koon Ching has wrongly accused Siu Fung and tried to hide the truth. Master Chun and Master Ng became so outraged that they battled with and killed Chin Koon Ching.

Meanwhile the sweeper monk gets Siu Yin San, and Mo Yung Bok to use each others inner power to heal themselves. After recovering and experiencing near death, both Siu Yin San and Mo Yung Bok, decided to give up their urge for revenge. They both decided to become monks of Shaolin and a student of the sweeper monk. The elder monks of Shaolin arrived and was pleased that Siu Yin San and Mo Yung Bok had changed their ways. The sweeper monk then gave a lecture outside. When Din Yee arrived, Kau Mor Chi, attempted to capture him. Luckily for Din Yee, the sweeper monk managed to save him. However Kau Mor Chi was able to land a strike which injured Din Yee. Siu Fung immediately took Din Yee away to heal. Mo Yung Fok was stunned that his old man had now become a monk. However he was determined to restore the Yin Dynasty even without his father's help. In the evening Wong Yee Yin, attempted to persuade Mo Yung Fok, to live a peaceful life with her. Mo Yung Fok, refused stating that he did not want to become a common person and live a normal life. He wanted fame and fortune. Later that evening he was handed an invitation to attend Sai Ha who were in the process of choosing someone to marry their princess. Mo Yung Fok, saw this as an opportunity to gain military strength and decided to hide this from Wong Yee Yin.

Meanwhile Jong Ming was at the old house were Siu Fung left Din Yee. She had gone all over the place in search of Din Yee and was now glad to have finally found him. Suddenly Yau Tan Ji, arrived with Ah Chi. Soon they were uncovered by Yau Tan Ji. Ah Chi wanted to obtain Jong Ming's eyes so she could see again. As Yau Tan Ji was about to proceed with his strike, Siu Fung, and Hoi Juk arrived to prevent it from happening. Later Hoi Juk informed Ah Chi that he may be able to heal her eyes once he returns to Ling Chow Kung. Upon hearing this Ah Chi stopped begging Siu Fung to obtain someone else's eyes to heal her. Many days later Master Chi, arrived with an invitation for Din Yee. He too was selected to go to Sai Ha as a prospect to marry their princess. Hoi Juk and Siu Fung were encouraged to go along with them to protect Din Yee. Siu Fung decided that Ah Chi should go to Ling Chow Kung until they returned. The group then headed towards Sai Ha. Din Yee only went because he heard that Mo Yung Fok was going to be there and thus Wong Yee Yin. Before going to Sai Ha, Siu Fung, wanted to see his old man one last time. Unfortunately he was turned back by Siu Yin San, who refused to see him because he was now a monk.

Meanwhile Yin Sing Juk, was taking care of Ding Jing Sit who had been injured at Shaolin. Later Chun Hung Min arrived with Mok Yin Ching, to see Din Jing Sit. At once Chun Hung Min and Yin Sing Juk battled each other. In order to prevent them from hurting each other, Din Jing Sit, stood in the middle and blocked their blows. He was stabbed in the chest by Chun Hung Min, and injured his hands by grabbing Yin Sing Juk's sword. After that episode Chun Hung Min and Yin Sing Juk became good friends as they both realized that loved Din Jing Sit just as much. Later that evening Misses Jong arrived looking for her daughter Jong Ming. She was then informed that Jong Ming was with Din Yee in Sai Ha, and Din Jing Sit requested that she stayed behind with them. Mok Yin Ching heard that Din Yee was going to Sai Ha, to attempt to marry the princess, and rushed off to find him. At Sai Ha, Kau Mor Chi, was helping his prince to stop other nation's princes from entering Sai Ha, thus eliminating the competition. Mok Yin Ching walked passed dress as a young man. Kau Mor Chi immediately fought with her to prevent her from going further. Luckily for Mok Yin Ching, Siu Fung, arrived and saved her life. Upon seeing Siu Fung, Kau Mor Chi, stopped creating trouble and left.

Hoi Juk, Din Yee and the others followed closely behind. Mok Yin Ching was invited to go along with them in the palace. Later Mo Yung Fok and Wong Yee Yin arrived. At once Mo Yung Fok and Kau Mor Chi's prince fought with each other. The Big Bad Guys, and Kau Mor Chi rushed in to prevent the fight. After warning the prince not to cause further trouble, Wong Yee Yin, discovered that Mo Yung Fok went to Sai Ha to marry the princess. Din Yee stepped in and confirmed the news for Wong Yee Yin, who immediately went to see Mo Yung Fok. When questioned by Wong Yee Yin, Mo Yung Fok simply replied that restoring the Yin Dynasty was the only thing on his mind. He did however promise to make Wong Yee Yin his Queen when his nation was restored. Wong Yee Yin refuse to allow Mo Yung Fok to marry another woman, and ran off to commit suicide. Luckily Din Yin Hing, Master Wan, and Master Lam were there to save her. Kau Mor Chi took the opportunity to eliminate the Big Bad Guys whilst they were rescuing Wong Yee Yin, but Siu Fung arrived to block his blow. After she was rescued, Din Yee, promised to do his best to marry the princess so that Mo Yung Fok could marry Wong Yee Yin. In the evening Din Yee sought to see Mo Yung Fok, and told him to marry Wong Yee Yin immediately.

Mo Yung Fok found Din Yee's conversation very interesting, but once he realized that Din Yee was a threat he sought to eliminate him. Mo Yung Fok urged Din Yee outside so they could continue their conversation. Wong Yee Yin walked by and hid so she could overhear the conversation. Mo Yung Fok saw a well infront of them, looked around to check that now one was around and pushed Din Yee into the well. Wong Yee Yin rushed to the well to try and save Din Yee, but it was too late he had already fallen in. Mo Yung Fok then accused Wong Yee Yin of having a pervious affair with Din Yee. Upon hearing this Wong Yee Yin, realized for the first time that Mo Yung Fok, was capable of doing anything in the name of restoring the Yin Dynasty. Wong Yee Yin then jumped in the well, to die with Din Yee who had saved her life many times. Mo Yung Fok then made an attempt to block the well. Kau Mor Chi arrived and fought with Mo Yung Fok, attempting to eliminate another competitor for his prince. Unfortunately Kau Mor Chi, went crazy and was pushed down the well by Mo Yung Fok. After defeating Kau Mor Chi, Mo Yung Fok covered the well with a large stone.

At the bottom of the well, Din Yee and Wong Yee Yin managed to survive. Wong Yee Yin then informed Din Yee that she wanted to be with him for the rest of her life. Din Yee was overjoyed upon hearing this. Suddenly Kau Mor Chi fell alongside them, still in a crazed fit. Din Yee used his kung fu to absorb Kau Mor Chi's power to prevent him from killing them. Later when they awoke, Kau Mor Chi, had lost all his kung fu and his will to become the best kung fu artist. Luckily for them Mok Yin Ching was walking by the well and heard cries of help. Din Yee then climbed the walls of the well, and together with Mok Yin Ching was able to remove the stone covering the well. Having escaped from the well, Kau Mor Chi, left them after handing over Shaolin's Yip Kan King. Mok Yin Ching arrived back at the group first, and informed Master Chi that she wanted to take Din Yee's place in the kung fu test. Without Din Yee, Master Chi and Siu Fung agreed that it was a good solution. At the contest many fought long and hard to make it into the next round. Siu Fung however did not have to take part because his kung fu was well renowned. Hoi Juk made it to the next stage by preventing two princes from killing each other.

Mo Yung Fok was matched up with Mok Yin Ching, dressed as a man. He did not hold back and wanted to kill Mok Yin Ching with one strike of his sword. Luckily Din Yee arrived using his Lok Mut San Kim, to block the strike. Din Yee made a move to kill Mo Yung Fok, until Wong Yee Yin arrived and requested him not to. The Sai Ha general was pleased with both Din Yee's and Mo Yung Fok's kung fu, that he allowed both men to proceed to the next stage of the contest. Din Yee and Wong Yee Yin took time before the next stage of the contest to wish Mo Yung Fok good luck. Rubbing salt into the wounds. At the next stage of the contest all of the princes were required to answer three questions. Din Yee elected to go first because he did not want to win. When asked which place bring him the most joy, he replied at the bottom of the well. When asked the name of the person whom he loved most, he replied Wong Yee Yin. After those two responses the princesses servant decided not to ask the third question. The Tibetan prince went next and go the answers wrong. Mo Yung Fok then stepped forward to answer the questions. Mo Yung Fok, had yet to find the place which made him very happy. Mo Yung Fok also admitted that he had not loved anyone in his life. After these two responses no further questions were asked of Mo Yung Fok.

The servant then requested Siu Fung to step forward and answer the questions. Siu Fung was most happy when he was ridding with Ah Chu. He informed the servant that he made a promise never to marry again after Ah Chu died. The servant then requested Hoi Juk, to step forward. Hoi Juk informed the servant that he was most happy, in an ice cellar. He also informed the servant that he did not know the name of the person that he loved the most. The crowd of princes broke up with laughter upon hearing this. The servant then asked, Hoi Juk, the third and final question. When asked whether the person whom he loved was beautiful, Hoi Juk replied that he had never seen her face before and does not know what she looked like. Hoi Juk was then invited to see the princess in her chambers. When Hoi Juk arrived at the chambers he noticed that the room was done up like the one at the ice chamber. Once he entered he discovered that the Sai Ha Princess was, Mo Ku. The servant then returned to the crowd and announced that Hoi Juk was selected to marry the princess. The news brought joy for Siu Fung and Din Yee. Mo Yung Fok could not believe that he had lost. Not just the princess but Wong Yee Yin also.

Now that Hoi Juk had found Mo Ku, and Din Yee was due to marry Wong Yee Yin, Siu Fung decided to go back to the Liu Dynasty. Later that evening Din Yee was informed that a group of people had set out to deal with his farther Din Jing Sit. Master Chi, Jong Ming, Mok Yin Ching, Wong Yee Yin and Din Yee rushed back to try and foil their plans. Along the way Din Yee and the group ran into numerous places with pictures that had missing words. Din Yee filled in the missing words, and was given free meals and hotel rent along their journey. Master Chi was also suspicious and they attempted to avoid being followed by leaving early from one place. In the evening they ran into an old dirty house. Inside their was an ugly old lady who couldn't talk and couldn't hear. She was in the process of lighting a fire, with rocks to cook a meal. Din Yee decided to lend her a fire stick which allow the old lady t cook a meal for the group. Later that evening Mo Yin Ching hear noises of rocks clashing against each other. She woke up and went to see what was going on as others were getting disturbed by the noise. Mok Yin Ching discovered that the old lady was awake trying to light a fire with the rocks, handed her a fire stick, and went to resume her sleep. Early in the morning the group was woken once more by the sound of clashing rocks.

Master Chi and Din Yee went to see what was going on. Again the lady was trying to light a fire. Master Chi gave her a fire stick and they went to resume sleep. Upon returning Master Chi became suspicious, and wanted to light a fire so they could see what was going on if someone attacked them. At that moment it was discovered that they had given away all of their fire sticks to the old lady. Mo Yin Ching then used a sword to light a fire. In the morning the old lady had gone, but their was food on the table. Jong Ming then uncovered another picture with missing words. Din Yee decided to complete the poetry himself. Upon doing so, a swarm of bees entered the room and took everyone off guard. Everyone was poisoned, fell asleep and was captured by the old lady. Meanwhile the two girls from Ling Chow Kung informed Din Jing Sit that someone had set traps for him on the way back to Dai Li. Upon hearing this Din Jing Sit decided to change course. Unfortunately Din Jing Sit and his group ran into Din Yin Hing and the Big Bad Guys by changing their course. Master Ku was killed in the process of protecting Din Jing Sit from Din Yin Hing's strike. Yin Sing Juk, Do Bak Fung, Chun Hung Min, and Misses Jong were all captured. In the evening Mo Yung Fok, collaborated with Din Yin Hing and thought of a clever plan, which would involve Misses Wong.

Din Yin Hing agreed with Mo Yung Fok's plans and decided to trade Din Jing Sit to Misses Wong for Din Yee. The exchange took place at Man Chong San Jong. Misses Wong could not contain herself and went to see Din Jing Sit who was placed in a cell by himself. Wong Yee Yin and Din Yee were in the other room and could overhear the conversation. Misses Wong then informed Din Jing Sit that Wong Yee Yin was his daughter. In the other room both Wong Yee Yin and Din Yee were shocked with disbelief, and passed out. In the morning Misses Wong, Mo Yung Fok and Din Yin Hing rounded everyone up in the living room. He immediately attempted to force Din Jing Sit to hand over the throne to Dai Li over to him. Din Jing Sit refused, so they brought out Din Yee. Din Yin Hing threatened to kill Din Yee unless Din Jing Sit hands over the throne. Din Yee was willing to die because he no longer wanted to live after discovering that Wong Yee Yin was also his sister. Master Lam then attempted to free Din Yee but was stabbed in the back by Din Yin Hing. Do Bak Fung intervene and with words only Din Yin Hing would understand, informed him that Din Yee was his son. Mo Yung Fok began to get suspicious and unleashed some poison, which affected everyone.

Mo Yung Fok then requested Din Yin Hing to accept him as a stepson. Din Yin Hing laughed and accepted the request on the condition that he obtains the cure. Master Bao was then killed by Mo Yung Fok, because he was against the idea. Master Fung the left Mo Yung Fok, because he had killed Master Bao and was no longer an honorable man. Misses Wong was outraged that Din Yin Hing would be freed first, so Mo Yung Fok, freed her first with the cure. Upon being freed, Misses Wong, demanded that Mo Yung Fok kill all of the ladies that Din Jing Sit had an affair with. Din Yin Hing also thought that it was a good idea but requested Mo Yung Fok not to kill Do Bak Fung and Din Yee. Din Jing Sit refused to hand over his throne and one by one watch the ladies that he love die infront of him. First he watched Yin Sing Juk, die at Mo Yung Fok's hands. Followed by Chun Hung Min and Cheung Ka Bo (Misses Jong). Din Jing Sit then attempted to get Ah Lo (Misses Wong), killed by Mo Yung Fok by calling her his favorite woman. Din Jing Sit then decided against it calling her an evil, heartless woman. Upon hearing this Misses Wong, grabbed Mo Yung Fok's sword and killed herself. Next Mo Yung Fok went to kill Do Bak Fung. As he was doing so, Din Yee, managed to free himself and strike Mo Yung Fok with his Lok Mut Sun Kim. At once Mo Yung Fok, became scared and ran off.

Upon being freed, Din Jing Sit, committed suicide to be with the women that died for him. Do Bak Fung also used a knife and stabbed herself. Din Yee was outraged and rushed over to kill Din Yin Hing. Bleeding, Do Bak Fung, shouted at Din Yee to stop because Din Yin Hing was infact his real farther. Din Yee was even more shocked but refused to admit Din Yin Hing as his old man. Din Yin Hing was happy because he knew that his bloodline would continue to rule Dai Li, laughed and left. Master Chi and Master Fu then rushed in to inform Din Yee that Wong Yee Yin has run off. Din Yee immediately left to prevent Wong Yee Yin from jumping over the edge of the cliff. Now they could be together once more because Wong Yee Yin was no longer her sister. Din Yee was named the next King of Dai Li by Din Jing Ming upon returning despite being informed that he was Din Yin Hing's son. Meanwhile at Ling Chow Kung, Hoi Juk returned with Mo Ku. He immediately set out to heal Ah Chi's eyes, but couldn't do so. In order for Ah Chi to be healed, she needed a pair of new eyes. Upon hearing this Yau Tan Ji removed his own eyes and passed it over to Hoi Juk. Many days later Ah Chi's vision was restored. The first person she wanted to see was the person who had given her the eyes. Upon discovering that it was Yau Tan Ji, Ah Chi, left him and immediately returned to the Kithan to find Siu Fung.

Meanwhile Yer Lok Hung Ky was planning to take his forces to battle with the Sung Dynasty. Siu Fung was against the idea and was disgusted that Yer Lok Hung Ky was using Han people for target practice. Ah Chi arrived back and she was named a princess by Yer Lok Hung Ky, who also wanted to arrange their marriage. Siu Fung refused and Ah Chi went mad once more. In the evening Yau Tan Ji arrived to cause trouble. Upon discovering that he gave Ah Chi his eyes, Siu Fung informed Ah Chi, to take good care of him. Instead Ah Chi, gave Yau Tan Ji gold, and threw him out on to the streets. Siu Fung was disgusted with Ah Chi once more. Later Siu Fung was named by Yer Lok Hung Ky as the general to take the army to attack the south. Siu Fung accepted the position but planned to escape with Ah Chi in the evening. Yer Lok Hung Ky found out about Siu Fung's plans, and the Queen planned a method to capture him. She tricked Ah Chi into poisoning Siu Fung. That night Siu Fung and Ah Chi battled through and escaped from the castle. Once they left the castle Siu Fung lost his inner power through the poison and was captured by the Kithan soldiers. Ah Chi managed to escape and return to Sung Dynasty land. Upon returning she sought to inform Coy Bong of Siu Fung's troubles. Master Chun and Master Ng, then sent out an invitation informing them of the trouble.

Many Coy Bong and Shaolin members elected to help free Siu Fung. The 72 Dung and 36 Do clan and Ling Chow Kung was also there to lend a hand. It was determined that Ah Chi would lead the rescue because she knew the layout of the castle well. As they battled Master Ku, dug a tunnel under Siu Fung's cage and rescued him from there. Once Siu Fung was freed, Din Yee, Hoi Juk and the others battled through the castle to escape. Upon being freed Siu Fung, returned to the castle to help the others escape. Siu Fung, Din Yee and Hoi Juk used their explosive kung fu to clear a path for the others to escape. Siu Fung battled above the castle to take out the archers. Once they escaped from the castle Siu Fung was informed that many members of Shaolin were still trapped inside. Siu Fung, Din Yee and Hoi Juk immediately returned to the castle to help them. As they battled a group of warriors led by Yee Lan Ngar But Dar, cleared a path for Siu Fung's group to escape. Having done so Yee Lan Ngar But Dar was himself trapped. After informing Din Yee and Hoi Juk to take the Shoalin monks to safety, Siu Fung, returned and rescued Yee Lan Ngar But Dar. In the morning the group returned to an old straw hut were, Wong Yee Yin, Mo Ku and members of Ling Chow Kung were waiting.

There they fended off another attack from the Kithan army and kept moving. They went passed the place were it all began with the murder of Siu Fung's mother. Siu Fung stopped and remembered how Ah Chu had waited for five days and five nights to see him. Later the group reached the Sung Dynasty. Unfortunately the general refused to open the gate to allow them to enter. Soon the Kithan army arrived and forced the group to retreat to the mountains. Trapped and surrounded Siu Fung demanded to see Yer Lok Hung Ky. At once Yer Lok Hung Ky arrived and was captured by Siu Fung. This prevented both sides from fighting each other. Siu Fung then informed Yer Lok Hung Ky that he had two new sworn brothers in Din Yee and Hoi Juk. He requested on their behalf that Yer Lok Hung stop attacking the Sung Dynasty and never to think about it again. Siu Fung made Yer Lok Hung Ky swear infront of the entire army. Yer Lok Hung Ky promised, much to the joy of both Han people and the Kithan army. Upon mounting his horse, Yer Lok Hung Ky, called Siu Fung a traitor and ordered his soldiers to kill Siu Fung if he returned to the Liu Dynasty. Upon hearing this Siu Fung snatched an arrow from a Kithan solider and killed himself to prove that he was not a traitor and was doing it for the well being of Han and Kithan people.

As Siu Fung died Yer Lok Hung Ky rode off angrily. Ah Chi then grabbed Siu Fung's body preventing others from getting near her. Finally she jumped off the cliff holding Siu Fung's body, after throwing her eyes at Yau Tan Ji. In a rage Yau Tan Ji also jumped of the edge of the cliff to be with Ah Chi. The others watched on with shocked expressions on her face. After catching up with Mo Ku and Hoi Juk, Din Yee and Wong Yee Yin headed back towards Dai Li. On their journey they came across, Mo Yung Fok and Ah Bik. Mo Yung Fok was surrounded by a group of small kids, who knelt to him and called him their king. Upon hearing this Mo Yung Fok was filled with joy, as Ah Bik, handed them some food for acknowledging Mo Yung Fok as their king. Din Yee wanted to take Mo Yung Fok back to Dai Li, so they could look after him. Wong Yee Yin told Din Yee not to worry about doing such a thing. Together they continued to walk towards Dai Li, as Mo Yung Fok and Ah Bik was look out towards the ocean.

RATING (9)

"Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils 1996", was one of the best series produced during the 1990's. With new computer technology, the special effects brought the special kung fu moves of the characters alive. For instance Siu Fung's 18 Dragon Palm, Din Yee's Lok Mut Sun Kim, Din Jing Sit's Yat Yeung chi, and many other moves as well. The fighting was done exceptionally well. There was a good mix of hand to hand combat without special effects, and the use of special effects with each characters special moves. The special effects were used at appropriate times. This series was action packed with many fights and contests, which made it very entertaining.

The events in this series matched the events more closely to the actual novel than the original 1982 series except at the beginning. Unlike the 1982 series, Mok Yin Ching remains alive at the end of the story. Mo Yung Bok does not create further trouble by killing the sweeper monk and then kill half of the cast including Siu Yin San. Mo Yung Fok goes crazy, rather get killed attempting to kill Din Yee. Therefore this series is more true to the novel. This version is not perfect however and made some deviations at the beginning.

In terms of acting, this series was superb. Wong Yat Wah played an exception Siu Fung although he does not match the physical description given in the novel. That is the only fault. Felix has a commanding voice, which was also well spoken, and strong in tone. His movements and posture made him very convincing as Siu Fung. Felix was able show great emotion and made the scene were Siu Fung killed Ah Chu very convincing. He looked, walked and talked like a lost soul, horrified at killing his lover with his own hands. Physically I thought only someone like Miu Kiu Wai, could perform the role better than Felix.

I didn't really like Din Yee's character. To me he was like a dog that followed Wong Yee Yin around, much like Ah Chi was following Siu Fung, and Yau Tan Ji was following Ah Chi. However he was a lucky dog in that he ended up with Wong Yee Yin. Benny Chan did well in his first major role. However the way he played Din Yee, hardly made him a dull simple person. Infact Din Yee became a comedian. A good actor would play the role the way that it should be played, simple, boring, and no funny faces. But Benny Chan is only learning, and can only get better. Terry Fan played Hoi Juk well, although I thought superficial at times. Terry Fan was very good in the fighting scenes, fluid and graceful. Carmen Lee a very good job as Wong Yee Yin. Her beauty was more well suited to the role. The rest of the cast performed very well. Of note in the supporting cast, was the person who played Din Jing Sit and Ah Chi.

The costumes used for this series was okay. Siu Fung looked more like a Kithan person running around amongst the Han people, than a Kithan person who thought he was of Han blood. Wong Yee Yin's costume and Mo Ying Ching's costume was the best in the series. The shocker was the costume selected for Din Yee. It made him look less like a man and more like a three-year-old kid. I nearly died of laughter when they placed the crown on top of his head towards the end. The themes and music used for this series was excellent. For once I actually heard some tunes unique to the series. All said, "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils 1996", is one of the classics of the 1990's and deserves a 9 out of 10.
