Title: Cinderallura
This is a story of a girl Cinderallura, though not a single soul had called her by her full name since the day she was born, she was known as Allura. The young princess grew up into a stunningly beautiful young women inheriting the kingdom, the planet, of Arus. Times were troublesome for the whole universe and since her planet held a key to defeating the threat of planet Doom five young men had been sent to the planet. The princess was thrilled to hear the young men were all about the same age as her and hoped there was at one of them that would be cute enough to be her prince as all other suitors had long since been scared away after meeting her. Soon as the young warriors arrived from planet Earth she set her sights on the captain believing Keith would make her a fine husband. She tried and tried but Keith ignored all her advances. Becoming desperate to make Keith her prince the young princess was starting to spend her days thinking of new ways to make her prince come to her. However her two royal keepers, the pesky advisor Coran and the wicked nanny Nanny were constantly trying to make her do all her princessly duties. They were constantly making her work, ‘Read these books, Allura’ ‘Practice proper princess etiquette, Allura.’ All the work was simply too much for the poor princess. And the other members of the Voltron force were just as cruel, agreeing with her heavy work load and never letting her fly the lions she found them to be much like wicked stepbrothers.
One day Allura found a piece of paper in the library that told of a party in the near by village at a place called Blue Anubis. “Why wasn’t I told about this party?” The princess questioned in surprise. “It’s tomorrow night that doesn’t give me much time to find a dress.”
“There you are princess I have been looking everywhere for you.” Nanny said.
“Why wasn’t I told about this party?” Allura asked as she held up the piece of paper.
“Oh my.” Nanny said. The pudgy nanny quickly walked over and took the piece of paper and tucked into the pocket of her apron. “You can not go to this party.”
“Why not?” Allura pouted.
Nanny had to think for a moment. “Because you have work to do.”
“But I want to go.” Allura stomped her foot.
“It is not proper for princess to pout.” Nanny said.
Allura decided that since pouting didn’t work maybe crying would. “Please I really want to go to this party.”
“You can not go.” Nanny said again. “You have work to do.”
“What if I finish my work before the party?” Allura asked hopefully.
“No, you can not go.” Nanny said.
Allura started to cry even more and ran out of the room.
Her tears subsided as she ran, turning into determination. Determination that she could find someone that would help make it so that she could go to the party. She could hear the sounds of a movie coming from the recreation room and quickly entered the room. She saw Pidge, Hunk and Sven sitting on the couch, even if they were wicked stepbrothers to her at times she couldn’t help but smile at the closeness of the pilots, they were all like one big happy family.
The three young men on the couch never even turned their attention from the movie they were watching to look at Allura. The only other thing they seemed to be paying attention to was the popcorn, at least Sven and Pidge were interested in the popcorn. Hunk was sitting in the middle, the popcorn bowl sitting on his lap. Pidge and Sven kept leaning in close as they reached deep into the bowl to fish out a handful of popcorn.
“Stop watching the movie, you have to help me.” Allura said, walking over to the TV and turning it off.
“Help you what?” Sven asked, the only one of the three that seemed over the surprise of Allura’s sound appearance, Hunk and Pidge were too busy trying to hide their blushing to even ask the princess what she wanted.
“To go to the party at the Blue Anubis.” Allura said.
“You can’t go to that party.” Sven said.
“Why not!?” Allura complain.
“Because… you have work to do.” Sven said.
“No I don’t. A princess shouldn’t have to do any work.” Allura said.
“You can’t go there.” Sven said.
“You can’t tell me what to do.” Allura said.
“Then why did you come here to ask us about it?” Sven asked.
“Because you’re supposed to help me.” Allura said. “I want to go to this party and I want to go with Keith.”
“Well we aren’t about to help you.” Sven said.
Allura looked at Pidge and Hunk, not accepting Sven’s answer for the three of them.
“Don’t go looking at me there’s no way I’m helping you to go to the party.” Pidge said.
“Me neither. I don’t want Nanny to ban me from the kitchen by helping you go to the party that you aren’t even suppose to know about.” Hunk said.
“Is food all you ever think about?” Allura questioned in an annoyed tone.
Hunk glanced at Pidge and Sven with a small grin on his lips. “No there’s many other things I think about.”
“So help me.” Allura said.
“Not a chance.” Hunk said.
“Why are the three of you always so mean?” Allura started to cry again and ran out of the room.
The next person Allura ran into was Coran, she almost literally ran into him and would’ve if the older man hadn’t stepped to one side as she approached.
“Princess shouldn’t run like that, it’s not proper.” Coran told Allura.
“I don’t care. Everyone is being so mean and not allowing me to go to the party tomorrow.” Allura pouted.
“That’s because you can’t go.” Coran said.
“Why not? And don’t say it’s because I have work to do that’s what everyone keeps telling me.” Allura said.
“Well that’s the only answer there is. You can’t go because you have work to do.” Coran said.
“How does everyone know that? It’s like you all agreed on that answer before I even found out about the party.” Allura pouted.
“That is most certain not true.” Coran said. “Everyone just knows how much work you have to do tomorrow.”
“Everyone but me.” Allura whined. Once again the princess ran off crying.
She ran into her room and sat down in front of her large vanity, where her mice sat on the table.
“What am I going to do? I want to go to the party but nobody will let me.” Allura complained to the mice.
“Squeak, squeak.” The space mice all chattered at once.
“Don’t you say I have work to do too.” Allura said, the princess seemed able to speak ‘mouse’ even though the mice only squeaked.
“Squeak.”
“But you have to help me, you guys are nearly my last hope.” Allura complained. One of the mice squeaked again, earning a glare from the others. Allura smiled. “You have an idea Cheddar, that’s so great.”
“Squeak, squeak, squeak.” Cheddar chattered.
“Ask my fairy godmother to help? What the hell kinda idea is that?” Allura complained.
The mouse seemed to shrug before running off with the others.
Allura sat in front of the mirror brushing her long locks of golden blonde hair for several minutes before sighing. “I guess it’s worth a try.” She stood up and looked around the room. “Oh fairy godmother please come and help me.”
There was a poof of smoke and Haggar appeared in Allura’s room.
“What are you doing here? I asked for my fairy godmother not a witch!” Allura complained loudly.
“Well you’re fairy mother quit so I was sent.” Haggar said.
“Oh, well as long as you’re here to help and not kidnap me.” Allura said. “You have to help me go to the party tomorrow.”
“The one at the Blue Anubis?” Haggar asked, suddenly looking nervous.
“Yes that’s the one. I want to go to it and be with Keith.” Allura said with a dreamy look in her eyes.
“Well I can’t help you.”
“Why not?” Allura whined.
“Because you can’t go.” Haggar said. “You have work to do.”
“Why does everyone keep saying that?” Allura asked, but there was no answer from Haggar who had vanished as quickly as she had appeared.
Well the princess stayed up all night long desperately trying to think of a plan, but spent more time trying to decide which of her most elegant dresses she was going to wear to the party.
She was walking down the hallway when she saw Lance. ‘I
could ask for his help but he’s probably too stupid to think of a way for me to
be able to go to the party. I mean he always thinks that Keith wants to spend
time with him and not me, and Keith not wanting to be rude always goes off with
him.’
“Hey Ally heard you’ve been looking for a way to go the party.” Lance grinned as he approached the princess.
“Yes, but everyone says I have to work.” Allura said. “I need to find a way to go and be with Keith.”
“Did he tell you that you have to work too?” Lance asked.
“No, I never asked him about it, I don’t think a woman should be the one to ask the man.”
“Oh. Well maybe I can help get you to the party.” Lance grinned, a wide almost Cheshire cat grin.
“REALLY?” Allura asked excitedly.
“First off you’ll need something proper to wear to the party.” Lance said.
“All of my dresses are proper.” Allura said holding her head up high.
“Not for this party. It’s a… theme party.” Lance said.
“Oh. Could you show me what I should wear for the party then?” Allura asked.
A couple hours later Allura had a new outfit to wear to party. Allura stood in her looking at the bag that sat on her bed. She couldn’t understand what kind of theme it would be to have that kind of outfit, but Lance insisted she had to wear it if she wanted to go to the party. Lance had even suggested a couple different ways she should wear her hair, because her normal hairstyle wouldn’t go with her outfit. Lance told her that once she was dressed to suit the party theme that nobody would recognize her, allowing her to easily exit the castle without detection. Allura knew that also meant she could make a grand entrance to the party and captivate Keith’s attention.
Later that day the princess started to get ready, still unsure of the outfit, it was so unlike all of her pink dress. The tight black leather mini skirt barely reach her knees, but the tall leather boots reach to just below her knees leaving very little skin exposed. She decided that the zebra print tank top was had to be at least one size too small, and was so low cut that it exposed her cleavage. Around her neck she wore a black plastic loops collar necklace and she had on huge black hoop earrings. It took her a long time to get her hair to turn out, the side of her hair were pulled back into a tight ponytail, making her face more visible, and long strands of blonde were all crimped. Allura looked at her reflection in the mirror for a long time, barely able to recognize herself. “I really hope Lance is right about the theme for this party. Though I don’t get way anyone would want to wear this.”
Finally it was time for the party, as Allura left the castle she noticed that the halls were all deserted, as though everyone was already at the party. Allura smiled thinking that meant there would be even more people there to see her grand entrance.
The music could be heard a long ways in the distance pounding away in a steady rhythm, though it took a while before she could even make out the lyrics. Allura looked at the large old building, the gray stones painted with graffiti art, most of which the princess couldn’t make out in the darkness, what she could see looked Egyptian. She didn’t think that it looked like the kind of a place for a party for the neon sign, light up in an electric blue read: Blue Anubis.
Allura opened the door prepared for the attention she would receive when she entered. She was surprised at how dark it seemed inside and was very disappointed to find that there was nobody near the entrance to notice her. Allura glanced at the two large statutes that stood on either side of the door both looking like a large dog with long noses, standing upright on two feet and dressed in robes. Both of them had been painted blue, Allura looked at the statues for a moment wondering if they had anything to do with how the place got it’s name. There was a hallway leading to the left and one to the right, both having signs that proclaimed they led to the washrooms Guys to the left and Gals to the right. Not feeling the need to use the washroom the princess continued straight forward through a beaded curtain – this time she was sure it would lead to her grand entrance.
Allura pushed back the beaded curtain, pouting that once again her grand entrance had been ruined, not one single person even turned to look at her. Her new outfit didn’t make her stand out as much as she had hoped everyone in there seemed to be wearing tight leather in one form or another.
Allura began to glance around the room, searching for Keith. Her blue eyes slowly began to widen as she got a better look at the place. All the boys were with other boys, the girls were with girls and there was some that she wasn’t sure what gender they were. Surely there had to be some kind of mistake, there had to be an explanation to why the boys and girls were separate.
There was a large wooden dance floor filled with people, all still in the boy-boy and girl-girl pairings, all dancing closely to each other under the flashing lights casting down by a giant disco ball.
The young princess grew more and more confused as she moved through the crowds, she still wasn’t receiving the attention that she desired, hardly anyone even glanced at her.
Finally she spotted three of the Voltron pilots and rushed over to them demanding an explanation. Allura stopped short of the table with a bewildered expression. Sven was dressed in a pair of tight black jeans, that clung to his body like a glove. A tight fitting red shirt could be seen under the black leather jacket. On his hand he had a pair of fingerless riding gloves, one hand gripping the end of a chain. Allura’s eyes followed the chain up to a studded collar that was secured around Hunk’s neck. Hunk was dressed in a blue and green t-shirt with a black leather vest over top of it and a pair of faded black jeans. The thing Allura found the strangest about it was that since there were empty seats at the table why was Sven sitting on Hunk’s lap. One of Hunk’s muscular arms was wrapped around Sven’s waist holding him close, both were intently watching Pidge, who was dancing in front of them in a dance that even she thought seemed a little suggestive. Pidge was dressed in a pair of tight and very short black denim shorts, black leather docker boots and a blacker leather vest.
“What… what’s going on?” Allura stammered.
At the sound of Allura’s voice Pidge stopped dancing so quickly that he almost fell of the table. “What… how… you here?” Pidge stammered unintelligently.
“Lance helped me to be able to come here.” Allura said.
“Figures Lance would do that.” Sven mumbled.
“He was nicer then the rest of you.” Allura said. “But I don’t get this party.”
“Why don’t you go ask Lance.” Sven suggested.
“Why are you sitting on Hunk’s lap anyway?” Allura asked.
“Because it’s comfortable.” Sven said.
“Oh.” Allura said, still looking very confused. She looked at Pidge. “Why are you dancing on the table?”
“Because it’s fun.” Pidge grinned.
“Oh.” Allura said. “Why…”
“Just go ask Lance.” Sven said.
“Do you think he’ll know where Keith is?” Allura asked.
“I’m sure he knows exactly where Keith is.” Sven said.
“Okay.” Allura said, moving away from the table wanting to find Lance so she could find Keith.
As she moved through the crowd once again she noticed a woman who looked like Nanny. But it couldn’t be her, the woman was dressed in leather, leather pants, and a leather jacket with a leather bikers hat. Allura assumed it most be a relative of nanny when another woman, with a slender figure and long black hair, approached her and called her by the name of Hilda, Allura thought the voice sounded familiar but didn’t waste have any time to waste on trying to place the voice, her mission to find Keith was far more important.
Allura continued her way through the crowd of people and was almost run over by several people leaving the dance floor. Once again she saw someone who looked familiar but it couldn’t possibly be the person she thought it was. The man sure looked like Coran but he was dressed in a pair of leather pants and frilly, lacey top the V-neck cut so low the bottom was slightly parted right down to the waist band of the leather pants. Around his neck was a faux diamond studded collar with several tags hanging from it. Allura shook her head in confusion and continued through the crowd.
Finally Allura spotted Lance through the crowd and rushed towards him. Lance was sitting at a booth, and Allura could see nobody else at the table with him. Allura practically ran through the crowd to the table where Lance sitting eating honey garlic chicken wings. Lance was dressed in a pair of tight red leather pants and tight black t-shirt. “Lan….” Her voice trailed off and mouth dropped open, if she had been a cartoon character her jaw would’ve hit the floor. Lance wasn’t alone Keith was with him, Keith was laid across the bench, his head rested on Lance’s lap, he held on of Lance’s hand in own and was slowly sucking the sauce from the chicken wings off Lance’s fingers, his tongue darting out and running over the long fingers before sucking them into his mouth. Lance’s head was leaned back against the high back of the booth seat, his eyes closed.
“Wh…what….?” Allura stammered.
Lance’s eyes opened and grinned at the princess. “Hey Ally.”
“What’s going on?” Allura said. Her eyes were locked on Keith’s body and the mouthwatering outfit he was wearing. Keith was dressed in tight black leather pants, with an exposed button fly and flared around the ankles, accented his long legs. The black leather shoes were barely visible. The sleeveless black shirt clung to his body showing off his muscular abs. The shirt had a white Chinese dragon design and was just a little too short exposing the smallest glimpse of Keith’s waist. A black leather collar embossed the image of tangled rose branches, with a holding tag with a Claddagh symbol and writing that was too small for her to read, finished off Keith’s outfit.
“What are you doing here princess?” Keith asked.
“Looking for you… so we can dance.” Allura stammered.
“You aren’t supposed to be here.” Keith said. He glanced over her outfit from where he laid and raised any eyebrow. “And how did you know the dress code?”
“Lance… he helped me.” Allura said.
“He did, did he?” Keith questioned. He glanced at Lance who was trying very hard not to laugh.
Allura nodded. “Now that I found you we can dance.”
“No, we can’t.” Keith said.
“Why won’t you dance with me?” Allura whined.
“Because I already have a dance partner.” Keith said.
“Oh? Where is she?” Allura asked, figuring she could take care of whatever girl it was Keith was supposed to dance with.
“It’s he not she and it’s Lance.” Keith said.
“WHAT?” Allura shouted. The princess was positive that she had heard wrong.
“It is Lance.” Keith said, pronouncing each word slowly for the princess to be able to understand.
“WHY?” Allura asked in a loud whine.
“You get three guess.” Lance said, smirking at the princess.
“Because he made you?” Allura questioned.
“Nope. I willing chose him for tonight’s dance competition.” Keith said.
“Strike one.” Lance grinned, earning a glare from Allura and roll of the eyes from Keith.
“You lost a bet and have to dance with Lance?” Allura guessed.
“I already told you I’m dancing with him by my own free will.” Keith said.
“And that’s strike two.” Lance grinned. “Try a little harder why don’t you. I mean just look around and you should get the answer.
Allura looked around not seeing anything different then she had before. “I don’t see what all that has to do with it. All I know is it had to be Lance somehow is making you dance with him.”
“Strike three, you’re out.” Lance grinned.
“TELL ME WHY YOU WON’T DANCE WITH ME!” Allura yelled, gaining the attention she had wanted before but not in the way she wanted.
Keith sat up. “Because I don’t dance with girls.”
“WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON’T DANCE WITH GIRLS?” Allura asked.
“Geez Ally I thought even you would get it if you came here.” Lance said. “But since that isn’t enough.” He wrapped one hand around the back of Keith’s head and captured his lips with a deep kiss. Keith leaned into the kiss resting one hand against Lance’s hip. Lance pulled his head back his teeth lightly grazing Keith’s bottom lip as he did so.
Again Allura’s mouth hung open as though she were trying to catch flies. Her mouth opened and closed a few times as she tried to comprehend what had just happened.
“Princess what are you doing here?” A very recognizable voice said from behind her.
Allura spun around and looked at the woman. “N…nanny?”
“You are not supposed to be here.” Nanny scolded.
Allura just stared at Nanny, unable to believe the person she had saw before really had been Nanny. “I came to be with Keith.”
“That’s a silly reason to be. And why are you dressed like that?” Nanny said.
“Lance told me…” Allura said.
“He did, did he?” Nanny questioned glaring at Lance. Lance just grinned and shrugged.
“But now that I am here Keith won’t dance with me.” Allura whined.
“What is going on over here?” Another person asked as they approached.
“Coran?” Allura asked, somehow managing to look even more confused, how could the uptight royal advisor be dressed like that.
“You are not supposed to be here princess.” Coran said.
“Lance helped her get in.” Nanny said.
“I thought it’d make her get the hint and leave my Keith alone.” Lance said.
“Your Keith?” Allura asked.
“That’s what the tag says.” Lance said, fingering the gold tag that hung from Keith’s collar.
“Is that all that says that?” Keith questioned as he slide his hand up the inside of Lance’s thigh.
Lance gulped. “No it just is that way… you are mine and I am yours.”
“Get a room you two.” Pidge said as he popped up to the table followed by Sven and Hunk.
“We have one.” Lance said.
“So use it.” Sven said.
“Not our fault we were interrupted.” Keith said.
“EXCUSE ME!” Allura yelled to get the attention back on her. “Would someone please tell me what is going on here? Why is everyone dressed this way? And why is Keith so… so… with Lance?”
“Well this is a party.” Pidge said.
“It’s a leather an’ chain party so everyone has to wear leather and if one partner has a collar or chain or both you can be in the dance competition.” Hunk said.
“And I am with Lance because I am gay.” Keith said.
That seemed to be all the prince could take, her eyes rolled back in her head and she fainted.
The princess slowly began to awaken, feeling a cool wet cloth on her forehead.
“She’s starting to wake up.” Coran said.
“Oh thank heavens.” Nanny said.
Allura tried to open her eyes but found her vision was blurry.
“Take it easy princess.” Coran said.
“Oh I had the most awful dream.” Allura said. She opened her eyes only to find nothing had changed. “YOU MEAN IT’S REAL?”
“You better believe it.” Lance grinned. He hooked an arm around Keith’s waist and pulled him close.
An announcement for the dance competition boomed over the speakers.
“We better hurry to the dance floor.” Sven said, he grabbed Pidge and Hunk’s hands and drug them away.
“They shouldn’t rush we are the ones who will win... again.” Keith grinned. “And now that princess finally woke up there is nothing to worry about so we’re gone.” Keith drug Lance away.
“I’m not letting them win again.” Coran complained leaving without glancing back at the princess.
Nanny fidgeted wanting to leave, but not wanting to leave the princess alone.
“I can look after her.”
Nanny turned and looked at the young waitress. “Thank you.” She said and was gone without second thought.
“Hey there lovely, my name’s Carrie.” The waitress introduced herself as she sat down beside Allura
“My name is Allura.” The princess said as she moved to sit up.
“You should take it easy.” Carrie said resting a hand on the princess shoulder.
“I guess.” Allura said, still feeling a little dizzy. “I don’t get why things are this way here.”
“Because is a gay nightclub.” Carrie said.
“What?” Allura asked. After a moment a light seemed to go off over her head. “Oh, now I get I.” She looked at the waitress and once again her mouth dropped opened.
The waitress was a beautiful young woman, with long wavy bright red hair and emerald green eyes. Allura looked over the outfit Carrie was wearing, black fishnet stocking covered her legs where the short black leather mini skirt left off. Her boots matched the princess. Her tight midnight blue shirt was low cut showing off her ample cleavage. A tight dark blue velvet collar was around her neck and earrings that dangled with what looked like mini disco balls hung from her ears.
Allura sat up, no longer feeling the least but dizzy. She smiled warmly at the waitress. “Care to join me for a drink?”
Carrie smiled. “You name it and it’s yours lovely.”
“I’ve never really drank before… what’s good?” Allura asked.
“Sex on the beach.” Carrie said.
Allura blushed. “I thought that was after drinking.”
“It could be that as well.” Carrie said, smiling at the princess making Allura blush and even darker red.
Allura smiled from ear to ear, looking truly happy for the first time since she had entered the Blue Anubis. She had came in search of her prince and found a princess instead and couldn’t be happier knowing that at least she would have a happily ever after.
