Living in the inner city that the "hey Arnold" gang do cars are not seen that often. Grandpa and Big Bob are the only characters who seem to have vehicles except for the Jolly Olly man with his Ice cream truck. Olga with her flowered car and Mr.Simmons with his flowered motocycle or Jamie O's muscle car. Big Bob, Grandpa, and Jamie O's cars though are clearly based on actual cars. (perhaps notable cars from Bartlett's life?)
Grandpa Phil's classic green 1946 Packard Clipper. This car is a beauty. I love the old cars from the '20's to 40's and the Packards are some of the best.

'79 (If you look closely you can see Bob and Miriam holding Olga and ignoring Helga who is in the baby carriage.)
Big Bob Pataki's monster boat of a car. It's a Lincoln Continental. I'm not sure of the year. I thought it was a '75 but it may be as early as a '70 or as late as a '79. Only Craig Bartlett knows for sure its actual year. The '79 is the exact color as Bob's car but I think the 70 is closer to its mammoth size. No wonder Miriam has so many accidents this car is a beast to drive.
