"I attend Michigan State University and saw David and Genesis (Real World Boston) speak about drug abuse at Wonders Cafeteria on campus in the spring of 99. David basically discussed his past with drugs, which mainly revolved around his high school years. It was an amazing story, which would be wrong to repeat in detail, because hearing it described by him is very powering. He definitely deserves massive props for growing up as an "underprivileged" child and accomplishing all his has in life due to his strong character and intelligence. He is definitely better live then filtered through the camera lens on MTV. In all, it was a good time hearing David retell his stories about the past and present. He's a cool guy and wish I could have stayed after the forum to meet him, but I had a huge test the next day that I needed to study hardcore for. So I apologize for not having any pictures to share with all you David fans. "
