Lynn Herring originally read for the role of Felicia Cummings. However, in 1986, Lynn made her debut as Lucy Coe in March. She was only supposed to remain for the durration of the storyline, but Lynn made Lucy such a captivating character, General Hospital couldn't let go.

As of June 1, 1997, Lynn and Lucy will be moving over to Port Charles.
