Extremis by Hal has a potential to be one of the hit singles. It featu-
res hot star, Gillian Anderson. Gillian does a sexy voice-over for the so-
ng, Extremis. It is a single akin to one of those trance music. It isn't 
exactly trance, it doesn't have the similar monotonous beat that makes you 
want to dance. It is actually quite like a modern new age song. 
   With the combination of Gillian's sexy voice, the song can really app-
eal to you quite easily. It is an interesting song. This single contains 
4 songs in all, in which the remaining three are remixes. The second remix
can definitely appeal to teenagers. It is remixed with the style of trance
music. It has a stronger beat unlike the original. But it doesn't feature 
the full length voice-over of Gillian Anderson.
   The third remis however is a totally different type which might just 
turn you off! It involves a lot of loud drum sound making it sound as if 
your CD is spoiled. I personally think they shouldn't have added that in 
as part of the single (my personal comment).
   The last remix is quite similar to the second. The original one is the 
only one featuring the full length voice-over of Gillian Anderson. 


Conclusion: A definitely worth buying single, no "buts" if you are an X-Phile or a Gillian 
                   fan.
