1983 Tony, Anna, David and Renee were involved in quite a quadrangle - Anna was after Tony for his money; she took him to Las Vegas, drugged and married him. Tony was in love with Renee, and she felt the same way about him. When she learned that Tony was her half-brother, she was devastated, and married David to get over him. Renee always loved Tony and her marriage to David ended in divorce.
Eventually, she found out that she and Tony were not related, but before she could bask in the good news, Renee was murdered by the Salem Slasher.
