~*ACTORS AND ACTRESSES*~

What would movies and television be without actors? Just a bunch of scenery. Actors are what add to a movie. Of course not all actors can actually act-ahem BAYWATCH-but like it is said

THERE ARE NO BAD ACTORS, JUST BAD WRITERS!

Anyways, to move on, I have a varied type of favorite actors, so just scroll down to see my favorite movie performers.

ACTORS!

WARNING:THESE ARE NOT BASED ON LOOKS!

I don't usually watch the big-budget, high feature films, and because of that, I get to notice new talents before many have the chance--like

Matthew has been featured in such films as HACKERS, MAD LOVE, SERIAL MOM and his most noticed "SCREAM." This 25 year-old has such a charisma on screen that whenever he comes on the whole scene lights up-and part of it might have to do with his trademark tounge. Although I find him attractive, he is more a talent than anything and I hope to see him in more films!

Leonardo DiCaprio to many is a "hearthrob" but what I think makes him so attractive is his acting ability. From my favorite performance in "What's Eating Gilbert Grape?" to the dark and risky "Basketball Diaries" Leonardo can even make movies like "William Shakespeares Romeo and Juliet" (which I wasn't too fond of) amazing. I love to watch him act and to tell you the truth, I really don't find his looks all that attractive, but whenever I see him act, it's a different story!

ACTRESSES

Gwyneth Paltrow-at first, I like everyone else just thought of her as Brad Pitt's girlfriend, and for that reason I didn't like her. Not because I was jealous, but because she was with Brad Pitt and I couldn't understand why she would want to be. The first movie I viewed with her was "Emma" and I fell in love with her acting ability. She was so real, even though she was playing someone who was very hard to relate to. The next and only other movie I viewed her in was "Moonlight and Valentino." In that movie, I felt like I could relate to her and it proved her acting ability once more.

Claire Danes-Unlike Gwyneth Paltrow, I noticed Claire Danes way back in 1994 when she first appeared in the long gone teen television drama "My So-Called Life." From those 19 episodes I was able to establish her as my favorite actress and from then I would watch her career grow-which I was sure of. Not only has she appeared
on David Letterman numerous times, she has been working on films since the day the last episode of "My
So-Called Life" was shot. A winner of a Golden Globe award in 1995 for "My So-Called Life" I wouldn't be suprised if the next award she receives is an Oscar.
