I have decided to write this biography for George Clooney because I sincerely admire his choice for taking risks and I admirer him more for being successful in those risks. Lets start off with some breif background, George was born to Nick and Nina Clooney in Kentucky on May 6, 1961. Now in my eyes this was the best thing Mr. and Mrs. Clooney ever did. So I would like to take this oppertunity to personally thank them. Imadiatly after George was old enough to speak he had that special charm that boosted his ability to capture an audiances attention. George was brought up in a stable household that was always good to him. He played on sports teams in school and had a way with the ladies. So I guess old habbits die hard. After highschool he decided to go out for the Cincinatti Major League baseball team. He thought he was good enough but the team didn't. So George headed to college. We all know that George couldn't give up his party ways for college, so after three years of trying he gave up and headed for Hollywood. This, George's dad Nick thought, was the dumbest idea he ever head of. But thankfully George ingnored his dad's warnings and followed his instinct. When he finnaly made it there, he stayed with his Aunt Rosemary. While there he took jobs such as a shoe salesman and a Handyman to his Aunt. George made a couple of flop movies and bad television pilots. Soon though people, including me, began to notice George. Personally I first fell in love with him while watching re-runs of "Sisters". Yet, he was quite noticiable in shows such as: "The Facts of Life" and "Roseanne". For his role in "Sisters" he played a sexy detective who along with being an alcoholic fell in love with the main character Teddy. He and Teddy got married and shortly after that he was blown up in a car and on his way to doing one of the most popular shows on primetime, "ER". In the hit drama series "ER", George plays yet another sexy character, Doug Ross a pediatritian. This show made him extremely popular, so he went on to do movies like: "From Dusk Till Dawn", "One Fine Day", "Batman and Robin", and "The Peacemaker". Actually all those movies made him popular, but none of it would have been possible if it wasn't for George's status as a Hollywood hunk. I say hunk like he is just some sort of ditzy muscle idiot, but he is not. He has a personality in which everything he says and does makes you just want to say hey, I love this guy. You may after reading all of this be wondering why I choose to say he has guts in the title. Well simply think about, everything and everyone told him to stay and go to college it's a rediculous idea to go to Hollywood. What did George do? He igored all of it and MADE himslef become successful. Now if that is not a complete definition of Guts, then what is? So wether it be going into an audiance and kissing an eight month pregant fan, or being an absolute wonderful friend to all his best buds, you have to admit George has come a long way. I really don't think the world would be the same without this 40 year-old hearthrob. You have got to admit he does that "you gotta love me" type of appeal.
