Earthworm Jim

Over time this game has lost it's popularity, but I still think it's one of the great video game ever created.

This game was made in 1994 for Sega Genesis, in the fall it won "Game of the Year", and then a little later they made the game available for Super Nintendo. Almost two years after, they came out with a version for Windows 95.

Plot: A brand new super hero...one that just so happens to be an earthworm, who a pond getting his super suit over hears the nefarious Psy-Crow talking to the might Queen Pulsating, Bloated, Festering, Sweaty, Pus-Filled, Malformed, Slug-for-a-Butt over radio. When Jim then over hears the name "Princess What's-Her-Name". Earthworm Jim then decides he must go meet this Princess, and he goes off to find her.

Main villains: Chuck & Fifi, Psy-Crow, Evil The Cat, Bob the Killer Goldfish & #4, Major Mucus, Professor Monkey for a Head, Doc Duodenum, and of course, Queen Slug-for-a-Butt.

Earthworm Jim 2

In 1995, the second game for Earthworm Jim came out. I don't think it's quite as challenging as the first game, but I like it all the same.

Plot: Once again Princess What's-Her-Name is in danger. She is kidnaped by Psy-Crow right under Earthworm Jim's nose (nose?). Psy-Crow plans the marry the Princess so that he may become the mighty ruler of the universe. And so it's up to Jim, once again to go save Princess What's-Her-Name.

Main Villains: Bob & #4, Lorenzo larvae, Evil The Cat, Major Mucus, Flamin' Yawn, and Psy-Crow.

Earthworm Jim 3D

Wow! A completely new..and quite different EWJ game for the first time in nearly five years! This has proven to be an interesting, and very challenging game for me......and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one. Though, this 3D form of the worm will definitely take some getting use too.

Plot: Apparently Jim has been kicked in the head by a cow, and has been knock somewhat unconscious. It is now up to his superego to boldly venture where no super hero has gone before! Which would be into Jim's four annelidian brains to collect marbles and golden cow udders in order to save his own sanity! (Well...of what sanity he had to begin with..)

Main Villains: PsyCrow, Fatty Roswell, Professor Monkey-for-a-Head, Bob the Killer Goldfish...and someone else just too scary to mention...

Earthworm Jim: Menace 2 the Galaxy

(above: on the left is cover belonging to the EWJ: Menace 2 the Galaxy game for GameBoy/GameBoy Color, and on the right, it's manual)

Earthworm Jim's second game for GameBoy...and now it's in color! Ooo..!

Plot: Lookie, it's Evil Jim! And he's stolen a Dimensional-Transporter-of-Doom! It's up to Earthworm Jim (the good one) to stop Evil Jim from running loose all over the galaxy like a strange lunatic. So Jimmy has made his own groovy Dimensional-Transporter-of-Goodness to follow Evil Jim and challenge the twisted worm to a battle. But first EWJ must track the evil twin down, and to do that, he must constantly collect power cells to keep his Dimensional-Transporter-of-Goodness running. And watch out...Jim might just run into some old enemies as well.

Main Villains: Bob the Killer Goldfish, Evil the Cat and Henchrat, PsyCrow..and of course, Evil Jim.
