(they get out of the limo)

Ned: Close your eyes.

Alexis: Ned…I already know what the outside looks like and I can guess what the inside looks like.

Ned: Do you want to sleep outside to night? Just do it.

(Alexis closes her eyes)

(Ned takes her hand and leads her inside)

Ned: Ok open your eyes.

(Alexis does and she sees the most beautiful house in the world)

Alexis: Ned, I love it so much.

Ned: I could buy the house. The owner is going to be putting up for sale. We can come here for secret rendezvous.

Alexis: (hugs Ned) I would love that.

(Ned puts down the luggage)

Ned: How would you like to go for a swim with me, Mrs. Ashton?

Alexis: I would love too. Let me put my bathing suit on.

Ned: The bathroom is upstairs on the left and the room is on the right.

(Ned goes to change in the bedroom while Alexis is in the bathroom)

(Alexis walks into the bedroom wearing a large T-shirt over her bathing suit)

Ned: Why are you wearing the T-shirt?

Alexis: I am a little self conscious of my growing stomach. Do you have a problem with that?

Ned: No. I am sorry. Come here.

(gives Alexis a kiss and keeps kissing her)

Alexis: I thought we were going for a swim

Ned: I changed my mine. Do you object, counselor?

Alexis: Yes I do. (laughing) We can make out at home.

(She walks outside and is standing near the pool)

(Ned walks outside and see her standing there so he decides to push her in)

(Ned is walking closer to her and she see the glint in his eye)

Alexis: Don’t you dare. (Ned pushes her in)

Ned: Hope you have a nice swim.

Alexis: (yelling) You jerk. I hate you. I am never going to talk to you again.

Ned: Whatever. (jumps in and swims right next to her) Can I have a kiss? (he shows his cute dimples)

Alexis: No.

Ned: Please?

Alexis: No way. Leave me alone. I am mad at you. (crosses her arms)

Ned: It’s our honeymoon…Oh I forgot to tell you that I chartered a helicopter so we can see the island and volcanoes. We have to be ready in 2 hours.

Alexis: Now you can have a kiss. (Alexis grabs Ned and gives him a passionate kiss) You are forgiven.

(Ned and Alexis get out of the pool and get ready for the helicopter ride)

In the helicopter

Alexis: Ned, I am not sure I want to do this anymore.

Ned: It will be fun, I promise.

Alexis: That is what they say about a root canal.

Ned: (laughing) I promise you.

(the helicopter takes off and they are seeing the sites)

(Alexis does not feel to good and she looks pale)

Ned: Alexis what’s wrong?

Alexis: I feel sick.

Ned: (hands her a bag) Here

Alexis: Thanks Ned.

(they see all the sites and she loves it)

Alexis: Thank you for taking me up here. (kisses Ned)

Ned: Your welcome.

(the helicopter lands)

Alexis: I am glad to be back on land.

(Ned laughs)

Ned: Let’s go back to the house.

(they go back to the house and then they run to the bedroom)

For the next two weeks, they have fun, and have a great time.

Back in Port Charles

In the hospital 3 ½ months from the due date

(Ned and Alexis wanted Monica to deliver their baby even though she is a cardiologist)

Monica: Hello Ned, Alexis. How are you feeling Alexis?

Alexis: Fine.

Monica: Have a seat over there. Ned you can stay or leave.

Ned: I will stay.

Monica: Have a seat, Alexis.

(Monica starts the ultrasound and notices something funny. Ned is holding Alexis’ hand and smiling)

Monica: (pointing to the screen) There is the hand and foot. There is the heart. Wait I notice more than one heart beat. Look over there.

Ned: What?

Monica: Congratulations it looks like you are having twins.

Alexis: Are you serious?

Monica: Yes I am.

(Ned drops Alexis’ hand and faints)

Alexis: Ned!!

Monica: I will be right back. I am going to get help, stay right where you are.

(Monica leaves and gets a nurse)

Monica: Please help Ned into a chair and just leave him.

(Ned is sitting in a chair)

Ned: OK I am all right. I guess I was a little shocked.

Alexis: Are you trying to give me a heart attack? Are you all right Ned?

Ned: I am fine. Two bundles of joy. Now what is grandfather going to say?

Monica: Don’t worry about him. I will take care of him. (to Alexis & Ned) Would you like to know the sex of your children?

Alexis: Yes, I do.

Ned: So do I.

Monica: It looks like you are going to have a girl and a boy.

Alexis: That’s great.

Monica: (to Alexis) You should come for a checkup every month.

Alexis: OK. Bye Monica

Ned: Monica please take care of Edward and I will see you later.

(Ned and Alexis leave and go back to ELQ)

ELQ offices in Alexis’ office

Alexis: Ned, are you really all right?

Ned: Yes I am. I guess I was just a little shocked.

Alexis: I know I was shocked also.

Ned: Well, I better get to work. I am suprised that we have not seen Edward yet. If he comes bye, just ignore him.

Alexis: That won’t be easy to do. Bye, Ned.

(Alexis gives Ned a kiss)

Ned: See you later, Mrs. Ashton.

Alexis: Bye Mr. Ashton.

(Ned leaves Alexis’ office)

(Alexis looks down at her desk and looks at all the documents on her desk. Her mind wanders and she is thinking about her life right now. She has Stefan, Nikolas, Ned, Ned’s family (which gives her a headache) and soon two children)

(Edward enters the room)

Edward: Alexis?? Alexis??

Alexis: Sorry Edward.

Edward: Monica, talked to me today and said you were having twins. I just wanted to come and congratulate you.

Alexis: Thanks Edward. That means a lot to me.

Edward: Well, I have to go. See you later.

Alexis: Bye Edward.

(Edward leaves)

(Alexis looks at the work; puts her head on the desk and falls asleep)

(It’s noon and Ned comes in; he sees that Alexis is sleeping)

(Ned walks over and picks Alexis up and walks over to the sofa where he places her down)

(Ned sits down next to her and puts his hand on her stomach; he starts to talk to his soon-to-be children)

Ned: (to his children) Hello guys! I cannot wait until you are born. I love you and your mother.

(Alexis wakes and is startled)

Alexis: Ned what are you doing here? Wasn’t I doing work?

Ned: I came to visit you and see if you wanted to go to lunch. When I came in here you were sleeping so I decided you needed to rest. You looked so cute and I could not wake you.

Alexis: Thanks for letting me sleep.

Ned: Your welcome. Do you to go to the Grille with me?

Alexis: Sure. Can you help me up?

Ned: Sure. (helps Alexis up)

(Ned and Alexis leave the ELQ offices and get into the limo; go to the PC Grille)

PC Grille

Alexis: Edward came up to me today and said congratulations on the twins. He was civilized towards me. I guess Monica’s talk with him did some good.

Ned: That’s good! I am not suprised. Monica is great when it comes to that.

Alexis: You know I never got any work done.

Ned: I think that can wait. (leans over and gives Alexis a kiss)

Alexis: We have to start thinking of names for our children.

Ned: I know. (grabs Alexis’ hand) I love you, Mrs. Ashton.

Alexis: I love you too Mr. Ashton.

(Waiter comes over)

Ned: What would you like to eat?

Alexis: Just a salad and a coke please.

Ned: I will have a steak.

(The waiter leaves)

Alexis: Oh!! Someone just kicked. Come here, Ned?

(Ned , moves his chair closer to Alexis; she grabs his hand and puts it on her stomach.)

Alexis: Just wait. I am sure you will feel it.

(there is kicking again and Ned feels it)

Ned: (laughing) This kicking child is probably going to be a soccer player.

Alexis: Don’t say that.

(Waiter brings over the food)

Alexis: Thank you.

(Ned and Alexis eat in silence and then they leave)
