Next Morning

Ned walks in the room and notices Alexis is still sleeping. (He walks over and gives her a kiss)

Alexis: (startled) Oh! Ned you scared me.

Ned: Sorry. I know I am real early.

Alexis: It’s all right. I cannot wait to get out of here.

Ned: Finally, I don’t have to compete with the cute doctors.

(Alexis throws a pillow at Ned and hits him in the head)

Alexis: very funny…you’re the most handsome person here

Ned: Thank you. I thought so.

(Alan enters)

Alan: Hello Ned. How’s the patient?

Alexis: Fine, Alan: Monica, will be right in Alexis.

(Monica enters with wheelchair and Alan leaves)

Monica: Hello. Hope you are feeling better?

Alexis: Yes, I am feeling a 100% better

Monica: Hop in and Ned will gather your stuff for you

Ned: Sure.

(Ned grabs Alexis’s suitcase)

Monica: Alexis one thing before you leave. You have to sign the release papers.

(Monica hands them to Alexis and she signs them)

Monica: I will see you later Ned and feel better Alexis.

(Monica leaves)

Ned: (to Alexis) The limo is outside. (wheels Alexis outside)

Alexis: Would you help me?

(Ned helps Alexis into the limo)

(Ned and Alexis snuggle up together)

(Ned and Alexis kiss; very passionately)

(The limo stops and they get out)

Ned: Here’s the key (hands them to Alexis) open the door for me.

(Alexis opens the door and see a sign that says "Welcome Home Alexis!")

Alexis: Ned, this is too much.

Ned: I have flowers and cake for you.

Alexis: I am a little tried though. I am going to lay on the couch for a while.

(Alexis goes and sits down. Ned sits down next to here and she puts her head on his lap)

Alexis: I like this.

Ned: So do I.

(Alexis falls asleep)

(Alexis has a really bad dream about Helena trying to kill her and Ned)

Alexis: NO!! Helena!! NO!!

Ned: Alexis wake up (shaking Alexis)

(Alexis wakes up)

Ned: You’re Ok!! Helena is not here.

Alexis: I had a horrible nightmare that Helena tried to kill us.

Ned: It’s all right. You’re with me. Try to get some sleep.

Alexis: (places her head back on Ned’s lap) Ok!! See you tomorrow.

It’s 11AM and Alexis is just waking up.

Ned: Hello beautiful!! When do you have to go back to the hospital?

Alexis: 2. Listen, I am sorry about last night.

Ned: It’s all right. You had a traumatic experience happen to you and I want you to feel free to talk to me about it. OK. What would you think about us going to Paris on a private jet?

Alexis: Ned, I would love that!! (Gives Ned a passionate kiss)

Ned: I knew you would. We’ll go tomorrow.

2PM the same afternoon; In the hospital

(Monica removes the bandages and stitches)

Monica: Would you like to see your face?

Alexis: Yes, I would like to.

(Monica hands Alexis a mirror)

(Alexis holds the mirror up)

Alexis: Oh!! I look so bad. (starts crying)

Ned: No, you don’t. Remember beauty is within. (Ned embraces Alexis for a long time)

Alexis: Thanks, I needed that.

Ned: Let’s leave today. Let’s go home. I will pack and then we will go to the hotel and pick up some of your stuff.

(they leave the hospital and go back to the Gatehouse)

(Ned packs a suitcase)

Alexis: You are the greatest. You always make me smile.

Ned: (grabs Alexis’ hand; gives her a kiss) I'm packed. Let’s go.

Ned and Alexis get back into the limo and they drive to the Port Charles Hotel

Alexis: (Gets out) Wait here. It will only take me 5 minutes.

Ned: Okay.

(Alexis goes to her room and opens the door. Helena is sitting on the couch)

Alexis: What are you doing here again?

Helena: Nice way to greet me Alexis or should I say Natasha. I came to see you.

(Alexis runs out of the room fast and gets into the limo)

Ned: Where’s your suitcase?

Alexis: When I went to get it Helena was sitting on the couch.

Ned: Let’s go get your suitcase together.

Alexis: (kisses Ned) Ned, I do not want to see her. I just want to get out of the country.

Ned: Come on Alexis. I will protect you.

(Alexis and Ned go back to the room)

Helena: Hello, Natasha.

Ned: Who's Natasha?

Alexis: I'll explain at another time.

. Helena: (to Ned) You must be Ned Ashton. It’s nice to meet you.

Ned: (whisper to Alexis) To bad I cannot say the same. Did you tell her about me?

Alexis: No. I didn’t. It must be her spies. (starts to pack)

Helena: (to Ned) I also know that you have a daughter named Brooke Lynn. She lives in New York City with her mother, Lois.

Ned: How do you know all of this?

Helena: (evilly) I have my ways.

Ned: Well, it looks like Alexis is finished packing. We have to go. Nice to meet you, Mrs. Cassadine.

(Ned and Alexis leave. Ned notices a smile return to her face when they enter the limo)

Alexis: Oh my!! I am so happy to get out of there.

Ned: I know. She scares me.

Alexis: Unfortunately, I am related to her.

Ned: An half hour until we get to the airport.

(Ned and Alexis passionately kiss).

Alexis: Why do you treat me so well, Ned?

Ned: You are the best thing that has happened to me.

(Alexis puts her head on Ned’s lap and goes to sleep)

Ned: (shaking Alexis) Wake up, Alexis. We are at the airport.

Alexis: (groggy) Leave me alone Ned. I am too tired to get up.

(Ned kisses Alexis)

Alexis: That will work, Ned.

(Ned takes Alexis by the hand and they get out of the limo)

Ned: I love you.

Alexis: I love you too.
