A- Are you up?
N- (sleepily) No. I'm glad it's Saturday. It is Saturday, right?
A- Yep.
N- This is pathetic. I don't even know when the weekend starts. We can stay in bed all day.
A- Uh, actually, I was wondering if you would like to take a trip to Boston?
N- And meet your daughter? Sure. We can take the ELQ jet if you want.
A- I was hoping you'd say that.
N- Why?
A- No reason.
N- No, tell me.
A- It's nothing really.
N- Yeah, right.
A- It's just more private, that's all.
N- Why would you care about that...unless you were planning to do something that would be considered inappropriate in public?
A- (smiling) No. Now go get in the shower. I'll join you in a minute.
N- I'm sharing you again, aren't I?
A- Yep.
N- You see, I grew up spoiled and selfish. I never had to share anything.
A- Poor baby. Sharing can be fun.
N- I doubt it.
S- Stefan Cassadine.
A- It's me.
S- Oh, Alexis. How are you?
A- Fine, and you?
S- Okay. You know, it's ironic. I never cared for my mother, but know that she is gone, I feel a void in my life.
A- I can't say that I feel the same way.
S- That's understandable.
A- I'm going to Boston today. I want to ask Calista to come to Port Charles.
S- Would you like to use the Cassadine jet?
A- I'm using the ELQ jet. I don't think I'll be attending Helena's funeral.
S- Fine. I have to go to work.
A- Stefan, it's Saturday.
S- I know. But the hospital still operates on weekends. have a nice trip.
A- Bye.
Alexis hangs up and joins Ned.
On the plane, to Boston.
N- You seem tense. What's wrong?
A- I look that bad that you can see how tense I am?
N- No, just that gatekeeper intuition. So, what's the problem? Are you nervous about seeing Cali?
A- No, well, kind of. I didn't tell Cali that I was coming because I wanted it to be a surprise. I told her the truth about this family and my true relation to Stefan. But I'm also worried about Stefan. I didn't tell him anything. But I'll tell him when I get back to PC.
N- Where are you and Calista going to live?
A- In the hotel. I don't think that I'll be to welcome around Wyndemere. I'm also worried about her reaction to you.
N- Uh-oh. Does she know about me?
A- Well, I told her that I was seeing someone.
N- Now you have me worried that she won't like me.
A- I'm sure she will. I'll let you in on a little secret. She has all of Eddie Maine's cds. She even saw him in a concert in Boston.
N- Ooh, she saw my alter ego. But when was the last time you sw her?
A- A little over a year ago.
N- Wow.
A- Yeah, wow. I miss her, you know? It's hard on her birthday and on Christmas. I wish I could have seen her, but it was just too dangerous.
N- Hey, hey. It's OK.
He puts his arms around her and kisses her tears away. She finds his embrace immensely soothing.
N- Your daughter understands, I'm sure.
A- How come you're so sure? You've never even met her.
N- I'm sure she didn't want you or her dead.
A- Look at me, a wreck over going to see my daughter.
Pilot- Prepare for landing.
