A- What brings you to town?
H- Your friend seems like a nice man. Too good for a tramp like you.
A- I'm not a tramp.
H- Trying to seduce a CEO for that worthless son of mine seems kind of tramp like. Any woman who would bring a man to her hotel room is a tramp. Don't you agree, Natasha?
A- That is not what I'm doing.
H- Your mother was a tramp. Like mother, like daughter.
A- Leave my mother out of this!
H- She never taught you any manners. It's impolite to talk back to your elders.
A- I learned from you. That means I learned how to be rude and presumptuous.
H- Oh, that's right. Her vocal chords were slit, weren't they? Poor woman.
A- If you won't tell me what you want, get out of my room!
H- It is getting late. Don't worry, I'll be back tomorrow. If I decide to let you live until then, that is. Sleep well because you may be sleeping eternally. I do feel bad about your friend, though. It will be such a shame to see him hurting, mourning over your untimely death. But he will soon realize that you are a whore. Good night.
Ned hides behind a corner and waits until Helena walks down the hall. She made him mad, saying what she did to Alexis. Alexis must be scared. He knocks on her door.
A- Go away.
He tries the door, which is unlocked.
A- You really need a life. Watching my room can get boring.
N- I guess I do need a life.
Alexis is drinking vodka, straight from the bottle.
N- Trying to down your troubles in vodka?
A- Brilliant deduction. Don't worry, I hold liquor well.
N- Gee, great.
A- (quietly) So, how much did you hear?
N- All of it.
A- I suppose you think I'm a whore.
N- No, I don't.
Alexis starts getting hysterical.
A- (shouting) Did you hear her? She said she would kill me!
N- I heard. She won't touch you.
He hated to see her like this. How could Helena do this to her? The only way to stop this was to kill Helena. Not that he wanted to kill her... well, actually, he did. He wanted to kill Helena for hurting Alexis.
N- C'mon, you need to rest.
She finishes the bottle of vodka.
A- Will you stay with me?
N- Of course.
Ned helps her to her bedroom. Alexis is in a zombie-like state. He finds a night gown in one of her draws and hands it to her.
N- Can you put it on yourself?
She kind of nods, so he turns around while she changes. But he hears her whimper and fall onto the bed. Her night gown was half on. Alexis lets him put it all the way on. He tucks her in and goes to turn the light off.
A- Don't leave. Sleep on the bed.
He climbs under the covers with her and strokes her hair. He talks gently to her.
N- She'll never get near you. I promise.
