~PART 98~

                          Emergency ER

Jax's dad paces back and forth past his wifes door, the doctor comes out and hands the chart to a nurse.

                    "So Doctor.. how is she?"

             The doctor sighs, "Oh, she'll be okay."

Jax's dad smiles, "my son says he thinks she's pergnant.. but I knew that couldn't be possible cause.. well.. we're old."

        The doctor smiles, "Well you must not be to old."

                             "huh?"

       "Mr. Jacks, your son is correct, she is pregnant."

The ER door opens and Mrs. Jacks walks out and smiles at her husband.

 The doctor smiles at Mrs. Jacks, "You take it easy, you here?"

                 "Yes, Doctor.. and thank you."

"No problem... remember to come back in a few weeks for a check up and so we can go over your next plans, k?"

                           "Yes sir." 

   The doctor walks away and Mr. And Mrs. Jacks hug eachother.

                        **Brenda's Room**

           Jax opens the door and glances in, "bren?"

Brenda looks over at the door, "Hi." Brenda sits up, "You still mad?"

"Um, I'm a little upset.. but I'll get over it. Ma is down in the ER room."

                          "What? Why?"

            Jax giggles, "actually its kinda funny."

             Brenda looks at him confused, "Funny?"

"Yeah, remember when you were sick every morning, and you passed out, and had those stomach aches."

            Brenda nods, "Yeah, when I was pregnant."

Jax laughs, "Yeah.." He clears his thoart, "ma is having the same symptoms."

                        "Your kidding." 

       "No, I'm not. Dad went down to talk to the doctor."

"Well I'm happy for her." Brenda lays back down, "When do I get out of here?"

                   Jax shrugs, "Soon... why?"

Brenda snaps at him, "Hello, I don't want to spend the rest of my life in the hospital."

Jax sits down and grabs Brenda's hand, "Brenda, calm down. I don't know when you are getting out."

  Brenda looks away in pain. Jax gets worried, "Are you okay?"

           "yeah, I'm fine." she doesn't look at Jax.

"Brenda, I know you are hurting because of what you went through. And I just wish you'd talk to me.. you seem to have a lot of angry built up inside."

  Brenda looks at him, "You have NO IDEA what I went through."

                    "Well tell me about it."

   Brenda looks away and mumbles, "I don't even know it all."

                      **Jason's Penthouse**

Jason walks down the stairs and the radio is on still playing "Whenever You Call". Jason glances out the Window and starts to have a flashback of that night him and Brenda made love... then there is an interuption in the song.

the radio We have an important announcement.. it has been conformed that the kidnapper of Brenda Barrett, the super model, has disappeared.  The night of the shotting, the kidnapper was being taken to a hospital where he would recieve medical treatment and then be sentence to jail... turns out the ambulance never arrived at the hospital.  There are troops out looking for the ambulance right now.. we think he may be heading back to Port Charles to get his revenge on Jason Morgan or even come back for Brenda Barrett. We will have more information when we receive it. BEEP.

               Jason opens the door and walks out.

~a month later (since it has been about a month that i've actually wrote this stuff)~

**THE quartermaines**

A.J. walks in the family room where Ned is talking on the phone. "NED!" 

Ned points a finger up, "Yes, okay I understand, thanks." he 
hangs up the phone, "Yes?"

A.J. puts his hand into fist, "How's Brenda?"

Ned shrugs, "Okay I guess."

"what do you mean Okay?"

"A.J. she's okay.. the last time I talked to her, Jax and her where moving up there wedding day."

"Really?" A.J.  askes surprised.

Ned smiles, "Yeah.. they are.  Brenda has been doing really good without her medicines."

A.J. gets a questioning look on his face, "doesn't she have to get shots?"

Ned shakes his head,  "Her last one was last week."

"oh."

"A.J. why are you so worried about Brenda? She's okay.. really!" A.J. looks away, "A.J. she's not addicted.. k.. everything is okay." Ned puts his hand on A.J.'s shoulder.

A.J. shakes his hand off, "No Its not that.... did you forget.. did everyone forget that Jerry hasn't been found!"

"A.J. they found the ambulance.. with 3 bodies in it.."

A.J. shakes his head, "No.. they found the parts to three people.. how do they actually know who they were.. the ambulance was on fire."

"It did run into a tree.. A.J. you are over reacting!"

"NO I'M NOT." A.J. rushes out of the room.

**Jason's Apartment**

Brenda knocks on the door, Jason answers, "Hi.. is Robyn here?"
Jason shakes his head, "NO.. she's not.. do you want to come in and wait for her."

Brenda rushes by Jason and looks around, Jason shuts the door and looks at Brenda who looks panicy. Brenda says, "That's good.. cause I'm here." She rushed up and kisses Jason, holding his face with her soft hands, he brings his hands up to push her off, but doesn't and grabs her and holds her close. 

**Jax's penthouse**

"So, V, she wants the white dress.. right?"

V smiles, "Yeah.. white. ALL brides where white" she laughs.

"Sorry. I just want everything to be perfect for her.  Now that she is moving on, and is finally getting over that kidnapping.."

V interupts, "Did she ever tell you what all happened??  with Jerry.... or Jason?"

Jax shrugs and stands up and walks away from a dozen of wedding pictures of tux's, "She doesn't talk about it. I don't push her.. when she wants to talk about it then we will."

V's  smile fades, "Oh.. k.. and Jason?

"Jason just went there because Sonny asked him to protect Brenda."

"yeah.. sure.." V has a sign of disbelief in her voice.

Someone knocks at the door, "What? You think otherwise? You think he was in on it with Jerry."

V turns around and looks at him with a picture of a tux in her hand, "No.. actually I don't."

Jax opens the door, A.J. is there, "Jax!" A.J. pushes past Jax, "where's Brenda?"

Jax shrugs, "Why?"

A.J. looks at V, "Hey, what you all doing?"

V holds up the picture of the tux, "This is you Jax."

Jax looks at it with a funny face. A.J. looks at it carefully, "Yep.. its a really good tux Jax."

"But there is orange on the thing that goes around my waist."

A.J. laughs, "where's brenda?"

Jax thinks, "she said something about seeing Robyn today."

"Thanks." A.J. leaves.

Jax takes the picture out of V's hand, "This one?"

V nods.



BRENDA's DECISION part 103
**jason's apartment**

Brenda steps back and opens her eyes, Jason steps forward and kisses her again, she pushes him away. "Brenda?"

Brenda and Jason lock eyes and then the door opens and in pops Micheal and Carly. Carly looks up and spots Brenda and her smile fades. "Micheal look here's daddy." Carly puts Micheal in
Jason's arms. 

Jason looks at Carly and then at Micheal, "Hey buddy.. how was your day?" He looks up and smiles at Brenda, Brenda smiles Back, "you want to hold him?"

Brenda nods, "Sure."

Jason hands the baby to Brenda. Bren walks over to the sofa where some toys are laying, and plays with Micheal. Jason just watches them, but carly interupts him, "So what is she doing here?"

"She is here to see m... um.. Robyn." 

Carly nods, "Sure she is." Carly walks over and takes Micheal, "I'm going to get his bottle ready."

Carly walks out of the room. 

Brenda stands up and walks over to Jason, "Um.."

Jason smiles and grabs her and holds her. She steps out of his brace and puts her hand up on Jason's cheek, "jason..." Jason interupts by kissing her lips. 

Brenda steps back, "jason.. I have.."

Carly walks in, "so Brenda you staying long?" Brenda glares at Carly, "Because Micheal is almost out of formula."

Jason looks at Carly, "She was just leaving.. I'll brb, I'll go get the formula." They both walk out and shut the door. Carly puts Micheal in the play pin and gives him his bottle, "Its hot in here.. mommy's going to go open the door so the nice cool hall air will flow in here." she walks over and opens the door.

The body guard looks at her, "Oh, I'm just letting some of the cold air in.. k?"

"Okay Carly."

Carly goes back to Micheal and talks to him in a low tone, "Isn't is so sad how Jason is falling in love 
with that stupid slut? Its so weird, He goes off to do a job for Sonny, which was to protect Brenda.. and now look. Geez.. if mommy would have only known then she would of told A.J. that he was the father."

Carly sighs, A.J. steps in another step.. Carly doesn't notice. "I don't know why I lied, Micheal, Mommy was very scared, that your real daddy would take you away from me." Micheal makes a sound, "Yes mommy has feelings for A.J.  I just don't think that he does for me.  Some day you will get to know your real daddy."

A.J. clears his thoart, "What about now?" A.J. has a serious 
look on his face.


BRENDA's DECISION-part 104

**parking lot of Jax's Penthouse**

Jason and Brenda are sitting in Jason's Limo, they look at eachother, Brenda goes to speak but Jason interupts, "NO need for explaination, we will talk later. K?"

Brenda sighs, "But!"

Jason glances out the Limo window then sees noone so bends over and kisses Brenda and then whispers in her ear, "meet me at the docks at 8:30 tonight."

Brenda nods her head, "k."

She opens the door and gets out and heads towards the stairs, Jason whispers to himself, "Sorry Sonny." Then the limo pulls away.

**Jason's Penthouse**

Carly jumps up, "Oh.. A.J. hi!" Carly walks over to him acting like she didn't hear him.

"Carly why? Why didn't you tell me? Does Jason know?"
Carly looks at him with confusion, "Know What?"

"That I'm Micheal's father."

Carly shrugs, "You... heard me?"

"Well yeah.. the door was open."

Carly walks over and shuts it, "It was open to let some fresh air in, not your big ears." She walks over and picks up Micheal and holds him close, "Your not taking him away from me."

A.J. steps forward, "Does Jason know he's not the father?"

Carly smiles, "Well no duh A.J."

A.J. looks at her and a smile forms on his face, "You never slept with Jason."

Carly nods, "Yes I have."

A.J. laughs, "Yeah that time you first came to town.. oh now I see. He felt bad because well he just dumped you after he told Robyn that he cheated or her, and now he feels sorry so he brought baby Micheal and 'you' into his home!" 

"No.. NO that's not the way it went." Tears start to fall down her cheeks. "I didn't want you and your stupid 'rich' family to take Micheal away from me."

A.J. stops smiling, "Carly I wouldn't take him away from you."

"You wouldn't?" Carly relaxes a little.

"Carly I had feelings for you, I would of took care of both of you, not just him. I had feelings for you."

"Had?"

"Well had.. has.. what's the difference."

"There is a difference, it like Jason had loved Robyn and now loves.." She stops herself.

"What?"

"Nothing." Carly shakes her head, and says in a soft tone, "Maybe its for the best."

"What?" A.J. questions confused.

"Here take him." Carly shoves Micheal into A.J.'s arms.

"Carly, what are you doing?"

"I'M LETTING YOU HOLD YOUR SON.. SO IF YOUR GOING to take him, take him NOW!"

"Carly.. NO!"

"What you don't want him? You don't want your own son?"

"Carly I do.. but I want you too.. your his mother... and i'm his father." Micheal giggles, "Isn't that right buddy?" A.J. talks to Micheal in a soft voice.

"Did you say that you want me?" Carly looks at him like she has never heard anyone tell her that before.
"Well, yeah, Carly, I have had feelings for you. And I have put behind me, you drugging me. You were just trying to protect Baby Micheal."

Carly walks over to A.J. "Are you sick?" She feels his forhead, "I can't believe you haven't taken him and ran. Jason always said that..."

The door opens up and Jason walks in. He looks at A.J. holding Micheal, then rushes over and takes Micheal out of A.J.'s hands, "Carly what are you doing?"

**Jax's penthouse**

Brenda walks in, "Jax? I'm home." She throws the keys down on the table and sees a piece of white paper, "what's this?" She picks it up and reads it aloud. "Hey honey, I went with V to a few stores to find the perfect tux for 'our perfect wedding.'" 

Brenda tosses the paper down and starts to pull her hair up into a pony tail, "Oh great." She shrugs and then goes into the bathroom and starts searching through some drawers for a pony tail holder and finds a small box, she drops her pony
tail down and reads the box, "Two pregnancy test for the price of one." She opens the already opened box and pulls out the one test thing out, "hey the two do come into use." She shuts the door.

PART 105

**Jason penthouse**

Carly rushes over by A.J., "Jason it was time to let A.J. know he is the father."

Jason just stares at Micheal and A.J., "Give him to me A.J."
A.J. takes a last look at his son and then goes to give him to Jason but Carly stops him, "NO!"

A.J. looks at Carly with confusion, "A.J. lets go."

"What??" Jason and A.J. both say at the same time then glance at eachother quickly then back at Carly.

"Jason.. I'm sorry.. now that A.J. knows this is his baby he has to have him."

"What. NO he doesn't!"

A.J. jumps in, "Actually yes i do have parental rights, you two aren't married, so you aren't actually the father in any way, to this baby."

Jason gets an angry look, "Yes I am.. i am more of a father than you are."

Carly takes the baby from A.J., "Come on A.J. I'll come back later for my stuff."

"You're staying with A.J.?"

A.J. looks at Jason, "Yes she is."

Then A.J. and Carly walk out of the penthouse. Jason throws a vase at the door and it shatters, "DAMN IT." 

Robyn comes down from upstairs. "Jason? What's going on?"

Jason looks at Robyn with angry in his eyes, "Leave! I don't want to talk to anybody!"

Robyn walks over and goes to hug Jason but he shrugs her off. Robyn holds in her tears and then runs out of the apartment. Jason picks up the album he kept with pictures of Micheal and starts to look at them and then gets angry and throws it at the door some pictures fly out of it. Then the door opens, "Jason?" the bodyguard at the door calls.

"Go Away!"

"Mr. Morgan, Brenda Barret is out here to see you, she says its important."

"What?"

"Bren..."

Jason interupts, "I HEARD YOU!" Jason stands up and looks at the door.

"So can Mrs. Barret come in?"

"yeah.. yeah.. let her in."

Brenda walks in slowly and steps around the shattered vase and the door shuts behind her, "Is this a bad time?" Jason looks at her but doesn't answer. Brenda sighs, "Well there's something you have to know."

Jason looks at his watch, "Brenda its only 7:30pm, I said we'd meet at the docks at 8:30."

Brenda nods, "I know!"

Jason sighs, "So can we just do as planned and meet there at 8:30, cause this really isn't a good time."

Brenda gets kinda of an angry hurt face, "Um... i..." She glances at the pregnancy test in her hand, she cuddles it so Jason can't see.

"Please Brenda."

Brenda smiles slightly, "OKay." She turns around to walk out.

"Brenda." Jason calls, she turns around and they both smile and then she walks out.


PART 106

**Brenda's Cottage**

Robyn rushes in all upset, "Brenda!"
No answer, Robyn runs upstairs, "BRENDA!"

A few minutes later Brenda walks in. Robyn rushes down the stairs and scares Brenda, "AHH!"

Robyn wipes the tears from her face, "Brenda!" Robyn rushes over and hugs her friend. 

Brenda gets a very confused face, and as she is hugging her friend she remembers the pregnancy test is
still in her hand she puts it in her pocket before Robyn can see.
"Robyn what's the matter?"

They both walk over and sit on the sofa,  "Jason. I think him and Carly had a fight or something.  But all I know is that I walked down the stairs after I heard a crash, he was all upset and Carly and Micheal were gone."

"What? A fight?"

Robyn nods and then glances down and spots a white thing in Brenda's pocket, "Brenda?"

"yeah?"

"What's that in your pocket?"

"Nothing.. why?"

Robyn looks into Brenda's eyes, "brenda?"

Brenda pulls out the pregnancy test. A great big smile forms on Robyn's face as she looks at it, "Oh my GOD! Your Pregnant."
Brenda takes the test from Robyn.
"Brenda this is great! Have you told Jax? He'll be so happy when he hears he is going to be a father."

Brenda glances down and looks at the test, She doesn't show any sign of happiness. "Robyn."

Robyn's smile fades, "Brenda I know."
"You know?" Confused look on her face as she glances up at her friend.

"Yeah.. I know your afraid you are going to loose this baby."
A small smile forms on her face and she hugs her friend, "I'm sorry." 

**Jax's Penthouse**

Jax walks in with V, "Honey, I'm home."

"Brenda is going to be so thrilled when she sees this tux on you!" V walks into the back to hang up the tux in his closet.

Jax sorts through his mail, then glances back, "V? What's taking you so long?"

V comes out with a box in her hand. 

"What's that?" Jax asked laughing jokingly, "hopefully your not thinking of hats."

V excited expression fades, "Jax.. um.. no.. brenda.."

Jax's turns around and smiles, "What about Brenda?"
She hands the box to him, his smile fades, "Its a pregnanct test box."

V shakes her head and smile starts to form, "Yeah.. and no pregnancy test."

Jax shakes his head, "This is from before."

V shakes her head, "Jax its suppose to be two pregnancy test. I'm sure she didn't use both before."

Jax looks at his watch, "Its 8:30. Where is she?"

**THE DOCKS** 
Jason walks out onto the docks and shivers, "Burr.. she's going to be cold." He walks over to the limo and pulls out a big blanket and wraps it around himself. All of a sudden Brenda rushes onto the dock. Jason smiles, "Hey Brenda." Brenda rushes over and shoves the test onto his chest. "what's this?" He looks at it and his smile disappears.

Part 107

**THE DOCKS**
Jason looks up at Brenda, "Is this what I think it is?"
Brenda nods.

"So you and Jax are having a baby?"

Brenda shakes her head.

"Then whose is this??"

Brenda doesn't say anything.

"Brenda come on.. talk to me."

She points at him. He looks very confused. She reaches up and touches his cheek, "Jason..."

Jason steps back, "Brenda.. I don't understand this."

Brenda gets an angry look on her face, "You don't understand this? Jason! For the past few days I have been trying to tell you something.. but you always blew me off."

Jason looks at the test again and then into her eyes, "brenda.. I.."

Brenda gets a small smile on her face, "I'm pregnant....... with your baby."
