PART 108
*THE DOCKS*
"with my child?" Jason asks looking at the test.
Brenda's smile brightens, "Yeah your child.. who elses? Remember at the cabin?"
"But.." Jason is shocked.
Brenda turns away, "You don't want this baby."
"brenda.. no that's not it..." He puts his hand on her shoulder and turns her around."
"its micheal? Right? Your already a father.. and now you don't want another responsibilty.. sure I understand."
Jason shakes his head, "Brenda.. no"
Brenda takes the test out of Jason's hands and throws it in the water, "There.. this never happened!"
She turns away from Jason and a tear runs down her cheek, "Goodbye." She takes off running before Jason can grab her.
"brenda!" He turns and looks at the water and then looks up at the sky and sighs.

**Jax's apartment**
Jax looks at his watch. "Its 9:00, where is she?"
V smiles, "I'm sure whatever she is doing is related to this pregnancy thing."
"But she can't get pregnant." Jax picks up the box from the desk.
V walks over and gives Jax a hug, "The doctor said there is a chance."
"Yeah.. but.. carrying it full term is also another thing."
V puts on her coat, "Yes it is.. but there's a chance."
Jax sighs, "Yeah." V turns and opens the door, "V?"
"Yeah?"
"thanks."
"No problem."
The door shuts and Jax walks over and sits down and looks at the box and pictures the last time they made love which was when she was rescued.
Brenda outside the door sighs and then opens the door. Jax who is sitting on the sofa looks up at Brenda. He is holding the box in his hand. Brenda's smile fades. "jax, what is that?"
Jax sighs, "Are you pregnant?" Jax stands up.

PART 109 **Jax's penthouse**
Brenda walks in and tosses her keys on the desk and sighs. Jax questions, "Are you?"
Brenda looks at him with tears building up in her eyes, "Brenda, I'm not mad. Its okay." He hugs her but she backs off. "Brenda?"
"Jax don't."
Confused Jax asks, "Don't what? Did you loose it?"
Brenda looks into his eyes, "No." She turns away.
"Brenda please tell me what's going on."
"Jax," She turns and looks at him, "I need to be honest with you."
"What, honey?" He takes her hand and sits on the sofa and she sits next to him.
"Jax, Yes, I'm pregnant... but.."
"But what? Brenda?"
"Its not your baby."
Jax looks at her shocked and then tears build up in his eyes.

**Jason's penthouse**
Jason walks in and looks around, "Robyn?"
Robyn comes down the stairs, "What?"
"Has Carly come back?"
Robyn's smile fades, "Um, yes she did.. and she took all Micheals stuff with her."
"WHAT?" Jason gets upset. "God!"
"Jason, why are you angry.. Micheal is finally with his real father!"
"Robyn, he is not a Quartermaine, and never will be if I can help it."
Robyn shrugs and gives Jason a hug, but he doesn't hug back. Then Robyn remembers something, "Oh yeah.. you never believe this."
Jason doesn't look interested, "What?" He puts his arms on his hip and walks away.
"BRENDA's PREGNANT again!"
Jason whisper to himself, "i know."
"What?"
"nothing, robyn."
Robyn moves over so she can see Jason's face, "Aren't you happy for her?"
Jason glances into Robyns eyes and then away, "Sure."
"jason, somethings not right about you... your acting strange. Did you just come back from one of your meetings?"
Jason sighs, "It was a meeting.... with someone."
"Is everything okay?"
Jason gets angry, "What is UP WITH ALL THESE QUESTIONS?"

Brenda's Decision Part 110
***JAX'S PENTHOUSE***
Jax stands up fast and wipe his eyes holding back the tears, "WHAT?"

Brenda stands up slowly, "its not your baby."
Jax turns and looks at her but can't look her in the eyes, "Yeah I heard that... bren.." He sighs.
Brenda goes to grab his hand but he jerks away, she holds back her tears as she walks over to the desk and grabs her keys. She opens the door and looks back at Jax who looks like he is going to brust out in tears.

***JASON'S PENTHOUSE***

Robyn gets shy, "jason?"
"what, what, what?" He askes annoyed
He looks away, "where's micheal?"
Robyn looks at him confused, "jason.. car.."
Jason looks at her, "what?"
Robyn gets a worried look, "Remember he is now with his mom and real father."
Jason sighs, "real father? what the hell is that suppose to mean? Huh Robyn?"
"Jason, I didn't mean it that way. "
"So um." Jason clears his throat. "Did Brenda tell you anything about this pregnancy?"
Robyn smiles, "No except that she is pregnant. But.." Robyn starts remembering, "when I talked to her it seemed like something was bothering her."
"really?" Jason asks concerned.
"Yeah she seemed a little depressed, but I figured that it was because she knows there's a chance she'll loose the baby."
Jason sighs, "yeah.. probably. She'll be a good mother." He turns away and a small smile forms on his face.
"Just like you will be a great father."
Jason's smile quickly disappears and he turns and looks at Robyn.

PART 111
Brenda runs up onto the docks and falls to the ground crying. "what did I do?"
A voice from behind, "I don't know you tell me."
Brenda stands up quickly and turns around. She sees Nikolas, "Nikolas?" She wipes her tears.
"Yeah, surprised you remember me.. you know.. since.." He sighs, "So are you okay?"
"Yeah.. I'm fine."
"Sure you are." Nikolas sits down on a bench, "want to talk about it."
"Not really."
"Oh, okay then." Nikolas stands up and starts to walk away. "Nikolas.. wait."
He turns around and a slight smile forms on her face, "Thanks."
She turns away and he walks up and whispers in her ear, "Anytime," then kisses her cheek and walks away.
Another voice, "Oh poor pitful Brenda." An evil laugh.
Brenda turns and looks around.. nobody... the laugh again. She covers her eyes, "Leave me alone!" Then all of a sudden it gets really quite. She gets a weird feeling and then runs away from the dock, it begans to rain.

***JASON's PENTHOUSE***

Robyn smiles fades, "what Jason?"
"you know?"
"know what?" Her smile appears again.
"Brenda.. and the pregnancy."
Robyn giggles and walks towards Jason, "Man you are really starting to scare me. Yes I know about Jax and Brenda's baby coming. I just told you."
Jason steps back, "Yeah.. that's what I thought." He grabs his coat and opens the door.
"Where are you going? Its suppose to storm."
Jason looks back at her, "To Brenda." the door shuts.
"To brenda?" Robyn gets a confused look she picks up the phone and dials Brenda's house number, no answer. "Must be at Jax's celebrating." She grabs her coat and then walks out the door.

Part 112
***THE PARK***

Brenda runs through a big opening and then falls down by a tree crying. (It's raining really hard and thundering.. it begans to lightning) She whispers to the clouds, "God, why? Is this my punishment?" It thunders, "I didn't do anything." Thunders again, "Yeah I slept with him, but.." She sighs, "I have feelings for him. Yeah its weird I know. But I.. I love him." It lightnings and thunders really loud. "yeah I love Jax too.. I'm lost.. help me. Help me" Crying. "Help me figure out the right thing to do." All of a sudden a limo flies into the parking lot by the trees. A man steps out and starts walking towards Brenda.

She stumbles as she gets up, But begans to run away from the person, The person comes running after her, "BRENDA, STOP." Jason yells. Brenda glances back as she is running across the street. "BRENDA!!!" Before Brenda can glance forward a car hits her. She falls to the ground, the car speeds off, Jason bends down to Brenda who is not moving, He waves at the limo, the limo comes towards them. Jason puts his head to Brenda's chest to see if she's breathing, "Damn it." He begans CPR.

The limo finally reaches them and the door opens up. "I called an ambulance."

Jason looks up, "when are they going to be here?"

The limo driver shrugs, "About 10 mins."

Jason looks at him, "WHAT?? 10 MINS?? Call them back and tell them to hurry up.. she's not breathing.. also call the penthouse and tell Robyn to meet me at the ER." he sighs.

"anything else Mr. Morgon?"

"Yeah.." He sighs, "call Mr. Jax and tell him the same thing." The limo driver gets back in the limo and you can here sirens from far away, jason continues CPR.

PART 113
Jason glances up from performing CPR, "okay she's breathing," he glances up at the limo driver, "Go find that car."

The limo driver looks at Jason with a confused look, "Jason, the car is long gone."

"I don't care, go look around for some unusual car, make sure the ambulance is going the right way too while your at it." The limo driver nods at Jason's orders and drives away. A few minutes later lightning strikes and a tree falls and blocks the road to the parking lot. "AHH" Jason screams in anger. It gets becomes silent then Jason hears crankling of leaves and glances around.

The ambulance pulls up and stops at the trees, a pramedic yells, "Anyone in here?"

Jason glances down at Brenda and then stands up, "Yeah over here." But the parmedic doesn't here him and walks back to the ambulance, Jason runs over to the ambulance.

The praimedic spots Jason, "Are you the one who needed an ambulance?" It thunders.

"Yeah, there's a female who was just hit by a car over by the benchs."

The praimedic looks around, "Where's the car?"

Jason sighs, "Its a hit and run." silence has it lightnings and another tree falls, "Can we hurry up before a tree lands on her?"

The praimedic nods and the other two pramedics get the equipment out and head for the area Brenda is. A cop pulls up behind the ambulance. Jason walks over to the cop watching the pramedic's go to Brenda. "hi" Jason walks over and the cop in Mac.

Mac looks at Jason shocked, "What happened?"

Jason sighs, "She was invovled in a hit and run."

"Oh my god, Robyn?" Mac skin turns pale.

Jason looks at him and talks in an annoyed voice, "No BRENDA!"

Mac walks quickly over to him, "Brenda? What is Brenda doing.." he doesn't finish his sentence, "well nevermind, lets go see what the pramedics think." Jason and Mac walk to the front of the ambulance and the pramedics are rushing back.

"Excuse me sir, you said the young lady was over there, am I correct." Jason nods, "Well we can't find her."

"WHAT? She couldn't of just gotten up and walked away!" Jason rushes over to where he left Brenda and looks around panicing. "She was right here!" He bends down and picks up the pregnancy test and smiles. "NOOOOO!" He screams and rushes back over by Mac, "Mac she was right there, here."

"What's this?"

"A pregnancy test, she's pregnant.. find hER!" Jason walks over and sits on a bench. Mac calls in searches and the pramedics climb back into the ambulance until they hear some news about Brenda.

****JAX'S PENTHOUSE****

There's a knock at the door, Jax is laying on the sofa asleep, another knock at the door, "BRENDA.... JAX???"

Jax wakes up, "What?" He sits up and there's another knock. "Hold on!" Jax stands up and looks around, "BRENDA?"

Jax opens the door, Robyn rushes in, "I'm so happy for.. you.. two." As she reaches the sofa she realizes Jax is the only one there. "Where's Brenda?"

Jax looks at her and shuts the door remembering the conversation him and Brenda had earlier, "With Jason."

"Wait, what are you talking about. She found out she was pregnant, I figured she'd be celebrating with the father." She sits down.

Jax chuckles, "Robyn, she is."

Robyn's smile fades, "She is what?"

As Jax gets ready to tell her the phone rings, "Hello?"

"Yes, hello, Mr. Jax, I'm informing you that your fiance has been invovled in an hit and run, and you are to meet her and Mr. Morgan at the Emergency Room as soon as possible. That's all. Good-bye.

Jax hangs up the phone and looks at Robyn, "Brenda's been invovled in a hit and run." Robyn stands up and Jax grabs his coat off the chair, "We got to meet her and Mr. Morgan in ER." Robyn follows Jax out.


PART 114

****THE EMERGENCY ROOM****

Jax and Robyn rush in the doors, "Excuse me? Can I help you?" The nurse with the nametag Jenny asks.

"Yeah, Jenny, I got a call my fiance was invovled in a hit and run and I'm suppose to meet her here."

Jenny's smile fades, "We haven't had any hit and runs come in tonight, sir."

Robyn's slight smile fades completely, "But, he just got a call saying to meet them here."

Jenny smiles, "I'll call our ambulances and see if anys been sent out for a hit and run." Jenny walks over and dials a number.

Jax and Robyn walk over and sit down and watch the nurse has she is dialing numbers.

****THE PARK****

Mac walks over to Jason, "Sorry Jason, noone's found her. Why don't you go to the ER room with Robyn and Jax. They'll continue searchin' and I'll let you know if we find her."

Jason: "How'd you know Robyn and Jax are there? Wait I didn't call Robyn."

Mac shrugs, "She's with Jax, Jenny, a nurse, I just got a call saying a male and female where waiting for a hit and run. I told them it was us, and that the victim can not be found."

"What? MAN, I gotta go to them.. before" He sighs.

"Before what Jason?"

Jason looks at him, "Nevermind, can one of your men give me a ride to the hospital?"

Mac smiles, "Yep sure can, TAGGERT!"

Jason sighs and whispers to himself, "oh great."

"Have a nice ride."

****THE EMERGENCY ROOM OF PORT-CHARLES HOSPITAL****

Jenny walks over to Jax and Robyn, "I have some bad news."

Jax and Robyn stand up slowly and tears start to form in Robyn's eyes, "She die?"

Jenny shakes head, "Brenda Barrett was hit by a car while running away from Jason Morgan, the car took off. Mr. Morgan had to leave the victim to reach the ambulance to let them know that they were at the right location. A tree had fallin' and blocked the entrance, when the pramedic's reached the location where Brenda Barrett was left, she was not there."

Jax clears his thoart, "What are you saying?"

Jenny holds back her tears, "Your fiance has disappeared. I'm sorry Mr. Jax. They are still searching but it doesn't look good." Jenny walks off to another costumer.

Jason rushes through the doors towards Robyn and Jax, Jax rushes towards Jason and punches him. Jason falls to the ground. "You don't deserve to be living." Jax says to Jason who gets up and holds his hand over his bloody nose.

Robyn stands between the two, "Stop, Stop it." Robyn looks into Jason's eyes, "Are you okay?"

Jason backs up away from Robyn, "Robyn don't."

"don't what?"

"Don't show me sympathy."

Jax chuckles, "Yeah, he doesn't deserve it. After getting Brenda pregnant."

Robyn glances quickly from Jax to Jason, "What?"
