---------PART 11---------
***Carly's Apartment***

Carly walks in her doors and throws her purse down on the coach and then walks over and sits her keys down and notices the pregnancy test. She picks it up and looks at it then flashes of her and Tony pop in her head and then flashes of her and A.J. making love. She throws the test across the room and screams and falls to the ground crying.

***HOSPITAL***

Amy looks at Rebecca who had just walked in, ''Rebecca, your late again. Isn't this your second time?''
Rebecaa looks at her kinda nervously, ''Sorry, I... I was up crying all night about Dorman, and I kinda slept in late.'' Rebecca turns away hoping Amy feel for it.
''Oh, well.. we needed you.'' Amy tries to talk to Rebecca in the face, ''Brenda was hit by a car and Jax and this lady cop saw it happen. Well actually Jax was almost hit himself,'' Amy keeps talking as she normally does and Rebecca looks at her.
Nervous Rebecca speaks, ''Did Jax or the cop see who did it?''
''Um, NO. Well I don't know. Brenda is still in ER.''
Rebecca turns around, ''She's still alive?''
Amy doesn't really pay attention to Rebecca's grins come and go, ''Yeah, we here at General Hospital like our patients to live.. not die.. DUH.''

***CASSASDINES MANSION***

Stefan is on the phone, ''Lasha? This is Stefan. We must talk.''
Laura's smile fades, ''No we must not.''
''Lasha please... yes I'll come over. Will Luke be there? See you soon.'' Stefan hangs the phone up and an evil smile forms on his face.
''Uncle?'' Nikolas interupts. ''Who was that on the phone.''
Stefan places a serious look on his face, ''Oh, wrong number.''
''OH, good job at the hospital, again, the other night,'' Nikolas says happily walking out.

**SONNY'S apartment**

The phone rings, ''Hello?'' Sonny says answering it, ''Oh, hi Monica, is Jason...'' pause, ''Brenda?'' Sonny hangs up the phone and dials Laura's number. ''Laura its Sonny.''
''Yeah?'' Laura ask.
''Is Luke around?'' Sonny asks twirling the phone cord.
''Um, no Sonny, he is still there in Port Charles, why? Something happen?'' Laura asked concerned.
''Brenda is in the hospital seriously hurt. Um, thanks anyhow.'' Sonny hangs up the phone and runs out the door.
**GH HOSPITAL--ER**

------aj is now played by billie warlock *g*---------
A.J. runs in the doors and up to Jax, ''Is she okay?''
Jax looks at him from head to toe, ''I don't know, Tony still has her in X-ray!''
A.J. sits down, ''What happened, Man?''
Jax kinda annoyed by A.J., ''A car came at us and hit her.''
Tony comes out of the doors of the Emergency room and walks up to Jax and A.J. Jax looks at Tony's face, ''Oh, NO. DOC, tell ME she IS STILL ALIVE.''
Tony frowns and looks at A.J.

**QUARTERMAINES MANSION**

Monica walks into Emily's room, ''Emily dear?'' Emily sits up, ''Honey I have some sad news for you.''
Ned walks in, ''Hey Em,'' Looks at Monica, ''Monica. What's going on?''
Monica looks at Ned, ''Um, maybe you should come sit down too.''
Ned looks at Monica with a big grin, ''What was I a bad boy and getting time-out?'' Emily smiles at Ned's joke.
''Ned this isn't easy,'' Monica pats the bed, ''Its about Brenda!''
Emily freaks out, ''What about Brenda??''
Ned walks up and sits next to Emily and he gets a serious look on his face, ''Brenda?'' pause, ''Did she have a slip and start on the pills again?''
Monica smiles slightly, ''Ned, I really wish that was what had happened,'' She looks at Emily, ''Emily, dear, Brenda was hurt. She is in the ER.''
''What happened?'' Ned asked about ready to jump up.
''I don't know yet, I think A.J. went to see.''
Ned gets up and leaves Monica and Emily, Emily begans to cry, Monica hold her.

**CARLY'S APARTMENT**

She throws the test in the trash by her desk in her room and looks around and begans to day dream about being a mommy, ''Mommy I love you.''
''I love you two, little one.'' She says smiling at the little girl.
''Mommy, who is my daddy?''
Carly snaps out of her Day-dream to hear the phone ring, She walks over and answers it, ''Hello?''
Luke speaks, ''Hey, um where have you been all day darlin??''
Carly sniffles, ''Um, didn't you hear??''
Luke: ''Hear What??''
Carly walks over and sits down, ''Brenda was hurt tonight and is in the hospital!''
''Oh, really?? Well I'll talk to you later, okay?? I have to call Sonny.''
''Luke, no, Monica already called him.''
''well Then I better get over to the hospital, I'm sure Jax will be there and you know how those two get along!'' Luke smiles.
Carly confused, ''Actually I don't know, and I think Jax saw what had happened.. or found her. He had brought her in.''
''Really?? well I gotta go.. talk with you later!!'' Luke hangs up.
Carly looks at the phone and hits the off botton and then lays back and relaxs.
PART 14!!!!
**HOSPITAL ER OUTSIDE BRENDA'S ROOM**

Tony and Jax walk down the hall leaving A.J. just standing there. Ned comes up and taps A.J. on the shoulder, ''A.J''
A.J. turns around, ''huh?''
Luke then walks in and walks up to A.J. and Ned.
A.J. speaks with worry, ''Um, Brenda was hit by a car today.'' A.J. frowns.
Ned looks down the hall towards Tony and Jax, Sonny walks in, ''Where's Brenda?''
A.J. holds Sonny back from the doors of Brenda's room. ''A.J. let me go. What's wrong with Brenda?''
''Sonny, Brenda was hit by a car, man.'' Luke tells Sonny.
Sonny then looks at A.J. ''She's alive, right?''
A.J. shakes his head, ''I don't know, But its not good if she is.''
**HOSITPAL HALL**

Jax scared, ''Tony, is she alive?''
Tony looks at Jax, ''Um, yes she is alive but...''
Jax interupts him, ''YES!''
''Jax... don't get exicted now!''Tony says putting his arm on Jax's shoulder.
''Tony?'' What's going on?'' Jax says as his smiles for relief fades.
''Um, we took X-rays, as you know. Well it looks as tough her spinal cord has been damaged.''
Jax screams, ''NO! SHE'S NOT PARALAZED! DON'T YOU EVEN...'' Jax puts his hand on his head holding back tears, ''Brenda, poor Brenda.'' Jax whispers.

**OUTSIDE BRENDA'S ROOM IN ER**

Sonny Freaks, ''Did Jax.. did he just say something about her paralazed?''
A.J. nods yes, Ned looks aways, and Luke puts his hand on Sonny's shoulder.
Sonny knocks it off and runs up to Jax and Tony.
Ned stops A.J. from going after Sonny, ''Don't A.J.''
''What?'' A.J. looks at Luke and Ned, ''Those two aren't the only ones who love Brenda and care.''
Ned nods as if saying he understands.
Luke speaks, ''Yeah well Brenda was one hell of a girl and a fighter.. she'll be just fine.'' Luke says that hoping that everything works out just fine.
PART 15-------
**HOSPITAL HALL**

"Jax?" Sonny says running up to him, "Brenda paralayzed??"
Tony looks at both of them, "There is the chance. And um, we found something else we want to watch." Tony says looking over his chart.
Jax looks up at Tony, "What could be worse?"
"Brenda may loose the baby!"
"THE BABY??" Sonny and Jax both yell at the same time, shocked.

**OUTSIDE BRENDA'S ROOM**

Luke grins at Sonny and Jax down the hall, "Someone is a daddy. Isn't that cute." Luke walks off laughing. Ned sits down and A.J. remembers something.

***QUARTERMAINES****

Emily walks downstairs and looks around, "Mom??" no answer. Emily dials a number on the phone, "hello, is Nikolas there?" pause.. "Nikolas het, it Emily."
Nikolas grins, "Hey Emily, how are you??"
"Oh, okay. But a friend of mine is in the hospital and my mom is nowhere to be found and i was wondering if you might take me there." Emily says looking around her, feeling as if someone was watching her.
"Um, sure!" Nikolas looks at his watch, "I'll pick you up within the hour, may I ask who it is?? Is it Audrey?"
Emily frowns, "No, no but I would like to see her too!" pauses, "Its Brenda Jax."
Nikolas' smile fades, "Brenda?"
"Yeah!"
"Okay, Emily, I'll be there soon.. kay?" Nikolas hangs up the phone and flashes of him and Brenda on the pier at Luke's pop in his head. Then he picks up his coat and walks out the door.

**BRENDA'S ROOM***

Rebecca walks in and walks over to Brenda, "Oh, poor Brenda." Rebecca pulls a little needle out of her pocket and gets ready to poke her I.V.
"Rebecca?"
Rebecca turns around to see Amy, "What?"
Amy walks over and starts taking Brenda's blood pressure, "Um, Rebecca what are you doing down here? You were on Audrey's hall."
Rebecca grins, "Oh, I'm sorry. I forgot." Rebecca walks out.
Amy looks down at Brenda who is unconsious still, "Brenda, I am so sorry this happened to you." Amy smiles, "Just think when you wake up two men that love you a lot will be by your side." Amy touches Brenda's hand and then walks out.
Amy's voice, "Guys you can go in."

**HOSPITAL HALL**

Tony looks at Sonny and Jax, "Jax, you didn't know?"
Jax snickers, "Know?? She's been spending her days with macho man Sonny here...not me." Jax looks at Sonny with a nasty look.
Sonny shrugs his shoulders, "Hey I didn't know man!"
"Well they are running more test to see how far a long she is, but it looks like she is atleast 3 1/2 months."
Jax whispers under his breathe, "the catacombs."
Sonny looks at Jax, "What?"
"nothin'."
Tony looks at his chart, "It also looks like she browsed up her hip pretty bad again from the fall. She has a bump on her head, we have taken an MRI, so that will test us some more.."
"Can we see her?" Sonny asks.
"Um, yes, but not too long!"
Sonny and Jax walk towards Brenda's room while A.J. comes out and walks up to Tony, "Congradulations on being a daddy!"
Tony looks at A.J. "What??"
"Carly.. her test turned out positive.. didn't she tell you??
Tony looks at A.J. and then walks away, "Amy."
---------PART 17-------
Sonny and Jax walk in. Sonny walks over and takes Brenda's Hand. Jax rolls his eyes. "What?" Sonny asks annoyed by Jax behavoir towards him.
"nothin'"
Sonny steps up away from Brenda, "What is your problem, SIR JAX??"
Jax smiles, "OH, nothing is wrong with me. I'm perfectly healty. Brenda on the other hand.." Jax glances at her with hurt in his eyes and then turns and looks at Sonny with anger, "Your the one who took advantage of her in the catacombs." Jax shoves Sonny.
"ME??" Sonny says walking to the door, "Man, whatever. Why don't you take some time with her and then we'll switch." Pause, "Okay?"
"Fine!"
Sonny walks out and Jax turns around and looks at Brenda, "My love. HOw I wish I could trade spots with you and take your pain away." Jax sits on the chair on her left side and take her hand. He looks at her ring finger where once she wore there wedding rings. He pulls out a chain from under his shirt and looks at their rings dangling on it. As he looks at the rings tears fall, "Brenda I love you." A tear falls on her hand and her hand twiches, Jax doesn't notice.
Sonny walks in, "Jax, can I have chance?? Amy says they are going to take for more test in a few mins."
Jax takes on last look at Brenda and walks out. Sonny then takes his spot next to Brenda. "Hey Brenda, Um," Sonny wipes his eye, "Remember that special place we went to?? The one you took a picture of?? Honey, I'd like to culid that house for you. So please wake up." Sonny lays his head next to hers on the pillow and whispers, "I love you."
Brenda slowly opens her eyes. She makes a moaning sound and Sonny lifts up his head and looks at Brenda and a smiles crosses his face, "Brenda?"
Brenda just looks at him in wonder.
PART 18
*Carly's*
A knock on the door, Carly is laying on her coach asleep. Another knock on the door, "Carly!" Tony yells. No answer so Tony opens the door, Carly is just laying there. "Carly time to wake up.... Carly?" Tony walks over to her, "OH my GOD, your sweating."
Carly moans, "Tony."
"Carly your burning up." Tony picks her up, "I need to get you to the hospital."
Carly sickly replys, "Tony, I'm pregnant."
Tony stops and looks at her, "I know, that's why I have to take you to ER."

***BRENDA's HOSPITAL room****

Sonny relieved that Brenda has opened her eyes yells to everyone, "Hey all Brenda is awake!!"
Emily, Jax, Ned, Any, and Nikolas walk in. Nikolas goes in one of the corners out of the way. Jax looks at Sonny, "She say anything?"
Amy begans looking over her monitors. Brenda looks up where two bags a hooked, "What are those?"
Amy looks at Brenda confused, "Um, this one is water, and this one." Pointing at the white bag, "This is morphin to help you with your pain."
Brenda yells, "UNHOOK IT NOW!"
Amy shocked, "Brenda, I don't think..."
Brenda's interupts her, "UNHOOK IT NOW OR I'M GOING TO WRIP THIS THING OUT OF MY ARM!"
As Brenda goes to wrip the I.V. Sonny grabs her hand to stop her, "Brenda, come on, calm down.. let them help you."
Brenda looks at Sonny then at Jax, "Jax, get this guy off of me." Jax looks at Brenda worried and then at Sonny.
-----------PART 19----------
Katherine slowly walks around the tree where she was shot with her cane. She drops her cane and bends down, as she is coming up she notices feet, ''Stefan?''
''Yes, my dear?'' Stefan grins.
Katherine just looks at him with a very serious look, ''Um, I was just...''
Stefan interrupts her, ''I know, you always said you would return here when you walked... I've been waiting for you!''
Katherine half-way grins, ''Really, why?''
''I've been wanting to tell you something.''
Stefan grabs Katherines hand, ''Stefan, what is it??''
''Katherine, I Love you, I have always loved you. I want to be with you.. no one else.''
''Stefan, your married.''
Stefan grins, ''Yes I am NOW.'' Pointing out the fact that he can later divorce.
Katherine looks away, ''I can't do that to Bobbie. She is nice.''
Stefan grabs her and kisses her.
Katherine smiles, ''I hate it when you do that.'' She kisses him back.

***BRENDA's ROOm in ER***

Jax looks at Sonny then Brenda, ''What my dear??''
Sonny gets up and walks away from Brenda hurt, Jax walks over and takes Brenda's hand and sits next to her. Brenda smiles, ''Tell them to take that Morphin off of me!!'' As Brenda is telling Jax this she glances over at Nikolas in the corner, ''Hey Nikolas.''
Nikolas shocked, ''Um, HEY Brenda.''
Sonny glances at Nikolas and then at Brenda.
Jax grins and glances back at Nikolas, ''Brenda you know this fellow??''
Brenda smiles, ''Yeah we met.''
Karen Wexler-Cates walks in, ''Hello Brenda, I'm going to be your doctor. Tony had some important matters to attend. How do you feel??'' Karen looks over her charts.
Amy speaks, ''Doctor, she is telling me to take her off the morphin.''
Sonny whispers under his breathe at Karen, ''She had an addiction....''
Karen interupts him, ''Yes, I know Sonny.'' She walks over by the bag, ''Brenda, how about I take it off you slowly. I will only make it give you a drop every hour..okay.. then we will take it off you tomorrow. I think it would be easier for you to have this.''
Brenda grins at Karen, ''I don't know.''
Karen, ''Brenda, You won't get addicted to this.. okay?? Trust me!''
Brenda smiles, ''Um, Okay.''
Karen and Amy go off in the corner chatting and then Amy fixes it so not as much enter Brenda, Karen walks back over to Brenda, ''If you have any major pain let us know!!'' Karen slightly glances at Brenda's legs.
Brenda nods her head and Karen walks out. Jax and the rest walk out with her except Nikolas. Nikolas stands there, ''Brenda, are you okay?''
Brenda grins, ''Yeah, just fine.''
''Well I work here.. so if you need anything.. just ask for me, okay??'' Nikolas says smiling.
Brenda sighs, ''sure, I'm tired so I think I'm going to go to sleep, okay?''
NIkolas nods and walks out.

*******ER**********

Tony runs in with Carly in his arms and Yells for AMY and KAREN they come running at him, ''WHAT HAPPENED?'' they both ask.
Tony looks at Karen, ''I walked in and found her laying on the coach burning up and sweating.. she is also pregnant.'' Karen and AMY take her away. Tony then walks up to Jax, Sonny, Emily, Nikolas, A.J., and NED. ''Is Brenda awake??'' A nurse then walks up and gives Tony some charts. ''thanks.'' He glances them over, ''Um did any of you notice anything different about Brenda?? Did she say anything about not feeling her legs??''
Nikolas says, ''Um she is going to sleep now. She said she was tired. I have to get going.'' Nikolas walks off....
Sonny turns away and Jax tells Tony, ''Well she didn't seem to remember Sonny.''
Tony frowns, ''Yeah well that's what I wanted to hear, on her MRI it shows that she will have a loss of memory.. also.. what is this. I have to go check this out.'' He walks away.
Jax looks at Sonny, ''A loss of memory? But why you??''
Sonny looks at Jax, ''I don't know... I don't know.'' Sonny then walks away.
