***PART 51***
*Jax's Apartment*
Miranda looks at Jerry with a glare in her eyes, "Um, Excuse me?"
Jerry smiles, "The bathroom is around the corner," Looks up as if thinking, "I think so anyways."
Miranda doesn't laugh, "I think it is time to go."
Jerry looks at her, "I told you the bathroom is around the corner."
Miranda opens the door and walks out, Jerry grins and walks out behind her.
**JAX's BOAT**
(the deck of the boat)
Brenda walks out on to it and smiles. "Honey you okay?"
Jax's puts his hand out to her, "Brenda come here.. I have something to.."
Brenda smiles and takes his hand, "Yeah I do too."
Jax smiles, "Brenda you know I love you with all my heart. And I know it was a hard thing when you had the miscarriage, but I love you and I want to put that behind us and start a future..."
Brenda smiles, "You and me... together."
Jax looks into her eyes, "Yes, together."
Jax stands up to get down on his knees, but Brenda doesn't realize what he is doing so she gets on her knees and looks up at Jax, "Jax, will you marry me?"
Jax shocked puts his hand on her face, "Brenda..."
Brenda: "Jax?"
Jax pulls out a little black square box out of his pocket, "Yes, and will you marry me?"
Brenda stands up, "Yes!" Jax opens the box and slips the engagment ring on her finger, just as he is doing that he kisses her.

{jax's penthouse}
The door flys open and Jax walks in Carrying Brenda.. Brenda laughs and gets down, "Oh, honey.. I love you."
Jax looks at her, "I love you too..."
Brenda steps in the penthouse further and glances around.
Jax looks at her, "What's the matter."
Brenda crosses her arms over her chest as if she was cold, "Someone's been here."
"Brenda, don't be silly." Jax shuts the door and then walks over and puts his arms around Brenda. "Why don't you take a shower to get relaxed?"
"I'm not being silly..." Brenda gets a flashback... (the time she was in Puerto Rico with Sonny and was shot in the shower.) SHE SCREAMS and falls to the ground.
"BRENDA?" Jax goes to the ground and holds her in his arms and rocks her, "Brenda you're safe now.. you're safe with me... your safe."
{Miranda's Apartment}
Miranda comes out of the bathroom combing her wet hair, she sits down on the sofa..
flashback--(Miranda looks at him, "I told Jax a month, but I don't know." Miranda glances down at the magazine. "Damn, she's still a popular one."
Jerry looks at Miranda shocked, "What do you mean?"
"You were looking at her picture admiring her... wanting her."
"Yeah, so.. she is pretty."
"WHAT?" Miranda asks upset.
"And not Jax's very much longer." An evil grin forms on Jerry's face.)
Miranda is interupted by Jerry's voice, "yo, little Ms. Miranda?"
Mirand jumps and looks at him, "What?"
Jerry smiles, "it's time to have fun."
Jerry picks up the smile and turns and looks at Miranda.
-------PART 53--------
{Sonny's penthouse}
Sonny grabs his coat and puts it on his arm, "Bre..." He stops himself remembering she doesn't live there anymore. He opens the door, "Joseph, um, I'm going down to Luke's. Can you send for Jason?"
Joseph nods, "sure sir, no problem."
Sonny's penthouse door shuts, leaving the room empty.
{Jax's Penthouse}
The phone rings, "I got it." Brenda says as she walks out from the bedroom. She picks it up, "hello?"
Jerry's voice on the other line, "Hello My sweet..."
Brenda's smile fades, "who is this?"
Jerry: "You'll find out soon enough."
'click of the phone, "Jax?" Brenda says calmly putting the phone down."
Jax yells from the bedroom, "Yeah?"
"I'm going out for a while.. I'll be back." Brenda grabs her keys off the desk and looks down and notices two magazines fliped to her picture.
"okay, honey. Don't take long."
"I won't." Brenda opens the door and walks out.
{LUKE's}
Sonny walks in and sits down at a table. Luke glances at him and smiles, "you want a beer man? You look dead."
Sonny looks at him, "sure... um a couple actually."
Luke sits two beers at his table and sits down, "So you expecting someone?"
Sonny: "Yeah Jason."
Luke: "Don't worry man, You're better off without her."
Sonny: "Who?"
Luke smiles, "Brenda!"
Sonny: "Yeah, I know man," Sonny takes a drink of his beer. "thanks."
Luke stands up and walks back behind the bar. Jason walks in the doors over to Sonny and sits down, "What's Up?"
Sonny looks at him, "I'm leaving."
Jason looks at him shocked, "you what?"
Sonny, "I'm leaving..."
Jason: "Why? Because of Brenda?"
Sonny: "I can't live in this town, it doesn't help the hurt Jason.. makes it worse... I have to go somewhere, were her face isn't on every bilboard or magazine."
Jason: "So its over between you two?"
Sonny laughs, "Jason, she is marrying Jax. She doesn't love me."
The door to Luke's opens and Brenda is standing there... Sonny looks at the door and then Jason looks.
~PART 54~
{luke's}
Jason looks at Brenda and then at Sonny, Sonny just stares at Brenda. Brenda walks over to Sonny. Sonny stands up, "Brenda are you okay?"
Brenda is shaking, "You can just leave me alone!!" There is anger in her voice.
Sonny looks at her, "What is wrong with you??" He puts his arm on her shoulder.
Brenda shoves him away, "DON'T TOUCH ME!!"
Jason stands up and holds Brenda back, "Brenda I think you should leave!"
Brenda slaps him across the face, "You leave me alone!! HE is trying to ruin my life with Jax, YET AGAIN!! and scare me by making phone calls to me calling me his sweet, and I'll find out soon enough!!" Brenda shoves Jason to the side, "Sonny you have to get over me.. LEAVE ME ALONE." Brenda's voice gets a little calmer, "I love Jax, not you."
Sonny looks at her with hurt in his eyes, "I know Brenda.. i.. know."
part 55

{Jax's penthouse}

Jax's comes out from his room in the back, "Brenda?" He looks around, "must not be back yet."
-the phone rings-
Jax walks over and picks it up, "hello?"
-the other person on the other side of the line hangs up-
Jax looks at the phone and then hangs it up and shrugs. He dryes his wet hair with his towel, the phone rings again, he picks it up, "hello?"
-the other person hangs up again-
Jax hangs up the phone and pulls the cord out of the wall.
-a phone rings-
Jax looks around, wondering where that phone is, "brenda's phone" Jax finds her purse-bag and opens it and turns on the phone but doesn't say hello.
-the other person {a man} "Brenda... you'll find out soon enough. Better watch your back my sweet love."
Jax hangs up the phone and looks around, "damn it!" Jax throws his towel down with the phone and runs out.

{lukes place}
Sonny looks into Brenda's eyes, "Brenda, what are you doing here?"
Brenda steps back, "What AM I DOING HERE? i don't know.. you tell me.. you're the one calling me!!"
Sonny looks at her worried, "Brenda, I haven't been calling you!"
Brenda looks at Jason, "Then you have been having someone doing it!"
Jason looks at Sonny, Sonny still looks at Brenda, "Brenda I don't know what you are talking about."
Brenda looks at them, "Where were you this morning? About 20 mins before I came in here?"
Sonny looks at Luke, "I was in here waiting for Jason so I could tell him something. And Jason was at the bank and then on his way here."
Brenda looks at Jason, "were you?"
Jason smiles, "Um, yes... i was robbing it actually" Jason says joking, Sonny laughs.
Brenda doesn't laugh, "That's not funny... So why were you meeting Jason?"
Luke decides he should go over by Sonny, Jason, and Brenda. "What's going on?"
Sonny looks at Luke, "Brenda's playing 20 questions."
Luke smiles, "Really? Seems like old times!"
Sonny laughs, "yeah well.."
Brenda SCREAMS, "SHUT-UP!"
-Part 56-
{Luke's place}
Sonny looks at Brenda knowing she isn't into fun & Games, "What were YOU GOING TO TELL jason?"
Jason's smile fades and he fixes his collar on his jacket, "Bren, you don't want to know.. kay?"
Brenda gets up into his face, "How do you know what I do and don't want to know? What do you think I can't take it... afraid I'll run to the cops?" Turns to Sonny, "WHAT?"
Sonny takes her hand, She jerks it away, "SONNY JUST TELL ME DAMN IT!"
Jax walks in the door to see Brenda jerk away, he stops and watches.
"Brenda, I'm leaving."
part 57
{luke's place}
Brenda looks at him, "what?"
"I said I'm leaving."
Jax hiding by the door watches Brenda.
Brenda laughs, "Yeah Whatever.. and That's why you've been calling me.. 'You'll find out sooner or later'."
Sonny looks at her being as serious as he can, "Brenda.." Brenda still laughing softly, Sonny grabs her by the shoulders and looks in her eyes, "BRENDA! I'm leaving.. there is no reason for me to stay... you love Jax."
Brenda stops laughing and looks at Jason, "Are you going with?"
Jason smiles, "Nope."
Brenda shoves Sonny off, "Well have a great life." She shoves past Sonny and goes out the back doors to the pier.
Sonny glances over at the main doors and sees Jax standing there, Sonny shakes his head and sits at the bar. Jason notices too and walks over to Jax, "What are you doing here, man? Can't you keep her on a leash?"

{outside on the pier}
Brenda runs over to the edge, she looks down in the water and sees her reflection. She screams and falls to the ground.
~PART 58~
{the pier outside Luke's}
Brenda is crying her eyes out..
{Luke's}
Jax shoves Jason, "SHUT-UP! I don't have to keep her on a leash.. but I surely can see Sonny keeps you on one."
Sonny looks at Jason and laughs, like its a joke. "So um.. Jax, what are you doing here?"
Jax stares at him, "Why don't you leave her alone and quit calling her. If you're leaving.. than LEAVE!"
Sonny puts his cup down and looks up at Jax, "I'm leaving later tonight.. kay? So why don't you go take care of her before she does something stupid."
Jax shoves past Sonny and goes out the back door.
{the pier outside Lukes}
"BRENDA?"
Brenda stands up slowly and looks at Jax with tears in her eyes, "what?"
"Are you Okay?" Jax runs up to Brenda and wraps his arms around her.
"Yeah, I'm fine.... why did you come after me?? I don't you I was okay and would be back soon."
"Brenda, I know you've been getting weird phone calls.. I answered your cell phone."
"Jax, I'm scared."
"Don't be." They both walk off slowly.
~part 59~
{jax's penthouse}
Brenda combs her hair.
{Sonny's penthouse}
Sonny zips his suitcase shut and stands up and opens the top drawer and finds a picture of him and Brenda.
{Jax's penthouse}
Brenda sits down on the coach and stares at her brush, blocking her surrounding out. Jax walks in the room and looks at Brenda, "BRENDA?"
-silence-
{Sonny's penthouse}
He places the picture back in the drawer and takes a good look at his soon to be ex-home. A knock is heard. Sonny walks over and opens the door, "Hey Jason, come in."
Jason steps in, "you almost ready?"
Sonny clears his throat, "Yeah theres one more thing that I need to do."
Jason: "see Brenda?"
"um, yeah.. two things."
"What?" Jason ask curious.
{Jax's Penthouse}
"Brenda, are you okay?" He walks over and touches her arm. Brenda jumps, "Hey!"
Brenda looks at him, "Jax.." She takes his hands and looks him in the eyes, "Um.."
Jax smiles, "Brenda go say goodbye too him."
Brenda slightly smiles, "Thank you, Jax... I love you." She kisses Jax and then walks out.
--part 60--
{Sonny's penthouse}
"what is the other thing you have to do?" Jason ask curious.
"This!" Sonny takes keys out of his pocket and hands them to Sonny. "I'm giving you this place... you have to have somewhere safe to live."
Jason looks at Sonny, not sure of what to think.
"take 'em" Sonny shoves them into Jason's hands. Jason takes them and looks at them.
"thanks."
Sonny smiles, Jason puts the keys in his pocket, "well, ready to go to Jax's penthouse."
Sonny frowns.. "You go ahead and go do last min business.. I'll go on my own."
"Okay.. well call me when your ready."
"Okay, Jason, will do."
Jason leaves the apartment. Sonny picks up the phone and dials a number, "yeah, hey.. bring the limo around front."
{in the woods}
Brenda steps onto a little patch of grass and looks over the hill, she begans to remember the day Sonny brought her up there for a surprise, and they talked about building a house out in the field.
--Sonny: Wait! I want to show you something. Come here...the best damn view you've ever seen. (Brenda comes up behind him and wraps her arms around him)
Brenda: Oh, you're right. It's amazing. How'd you find this place?
Sonny: I've known about it since I was eight years old
Brenda: You grew up in Bensonhurst!--
 Brenda smiles as she remembers... she smiles and turns around and looks at the ground.

--SONNY: So, fast forward to the present. (stands up) I'm driving by, I see a For Sale sign out front and I make a few inquiries.
BRENDA: (excited, leaps up and grabs his arm) Are you gonna tell me you own all of this?
SONNY: Don't interrupt me when I'm trying -
BRENDA: Even the farmhouse?
SONNY: Yeah. (smiles)
BRENDA: When did you buy it? (So excited she's pummeling his arm with her fists)
SONNY: After we made love, in the caves.--
 Brenda turns and jumps, "hey."
Sonny smiles, "I knew I could find you here."
Brenda wipes her eyes which were forming tears, "Um, yeah.. I just.. cam.." Sonny walks over to her and kisses her, Brenda pushes him off, "Sonny, I can't, I love Jax."
"Brenda if you love Jax, what are you doing here?"
Brenda looks him in the eyes, "letting you go..... forgetting.."
Sonny shocked, "me?"
Brenda looks at him, "not exactly.. I'm just letting go. Its something I have to do before Jax and I get married."
Sonny smiles, "You know what I'm thankful for this year?"
Brenda shivers, "What?"
Sonny, "That you're happy. Bye Brenda, happy holidays."
Brenda smiles shivering behind it, "Bye Sonny... see ya."
Sonny starts to walk away and turns to her and smiles and has a flashback,
--B: Close your eyes!
S: I can't!
B: Yes You can
S: I can't close my eyes--because when I was a kid, this kid in high school, right? I closed my eyes and he hit me with a bottle and stole my lunch money and ever since then, I have to keep my eyes open.
B: Stroking his face in a soft voice "Ohhhh..really, ok, then just turn around--
 Sonny then walks away one way and Brenda the other way.
