Review from Sue Guttilla

I just recently finish watching In the Name Of Love (yau fay yun chung sing kuen sook) with Kent Cheng, Chan Kum Hung, etc. I really enjoyed Kent Cheng's role as the tax driver in TAXI 810 series. He is really a great actor and he shines in those roles as a caring person and very down to earth. When he is acting his role, he is really into his role - That was the reason why I rented In The Name Of Love. Many don't like him because he is not much to look at - oh, I mean lot to look at but not appealing to look at - he is not good looking but then I have seen series where there are good looking actors who can't act.

I really enjoyed In The Name of Love, it is a story about family, first love, love, relationship, hardship, situation drama and comedy all in one. I have not seen too many tvb series done this well with the exception of On One's Own and A Road and A Will. The whole cast was superb even the supporting roles like Ha Ping playing the sai ma. The girl who played Vivian - the jook sing was superb and spoke very good chinese. I imagine she is really from other place than HK because of her accent. I am inspired by her because she can speak so well the chinese language and work the courage to be in a tvb series. She was in Taxi 810 part 2. The woman who played Mun Mun did an excellent role as a dai look mui coming to HK and trying to find a rich person to stick to. I enjoyed watching the relationship bloosomed between her and Fat Lo Pong but it was sad to see her choose the old man because Fay Lo Pong couldn't express himself. The 2nd romance with Ho Chi was rather dragging ot me, the woman wasn';t too convincing to me but I liked the little girl in it. Now, loi hay was the best as the huen hai mui falling into hatred with the fat man and then later realizing that they really love each other. I love watching the innocence and naiveness of both of them It is very refreshing that u don't have to see any physical attractiveness to one another to say they love each other. After all, that is what love is all about - 2 people of similiar taste and interest not judge by appearance.

Ka Ka, she was very enjoyable and refreshing to watch. I was wondering how she was going to break the news to her brother about her being an airline stewardress and then becoming pregnant.
