TVB's latest science and suspense series, the Mystery Files, brings you to the heart of many mysterious and unexplainable cases and also unveils the dark side of unfathomable and mystical forces. 
 Yin (Lo Ka Leung), a professor of bio-chemistry in the university, is cool and analytical. He believes in science and is against blind faith. Lei (Cheung Ho Yee), a script writer and researcher for a TV documentary series, believes on the contrary since she has had inexplicable experience. By fate, the two are thrown into cooperation in finding the truth behind some bizarre cases. As they hold opposite philosophies, they often come into conflicts which leads to misunderstanding and mistrust...
