A Recipe For The Heart ¬ü ¨ý ¤Ñ ¤ý -
Starring :
Au Yeung Chan Wa | Kwan Wing Ho |
Sam Tin Ha | Cheung Ho Yee |
Ku Tin Lok | Seun Heun |
On the other hand Bobie Au Yeung Chan Wa, Louis Koo Tin Lok and Maggie Cheung Hor Yee did a very good job. Each of them showed their very best acting talent. Although it looked like that Maggie and Bobie didn't even had to their best to do it. They were so natural, as if playing their parts was as simple as breathing. And Louis Koo, too be honest I didn't liked Louis Koo very much, but this serie changed my opinion. He sure CAN act! (or at least had learnt it). His character really is memorable! A talented and handsome (at least the girls are saying that, I'm not attracted to him^_^)cheff with a inferiority complex due to a talking disorder. He is "Chi Lai Kan" (can't pronounce the "s" and stuff like that) so he uses "Sam Sing" (sound of the heart) to communicate with people. But their great work couldn't prevent this serie from be disgrace to all the actors who
played a (cameo-)part in it. Another pain is the ending. It seemed that TVB wanted to do everything, just to let the serie have a happy ending. No bad guys, no one sad. Eveyone can tell that they just changed the script to achieve this goal, wich maked the serie completely unrealistic (not that it was before...) There were a few real funny moments in it though. Like when three punks "Fay Jai" went into the restaurant to order something, but almost had a fight with the waiter. Later it's told that this three punks are actually the three heros from the Young & dangerous serie, Chan Ho Man, San Kai (Chicken) and Tai Tin Yee. Of course in the serie they aren't as handsome as the movie (their plain ugly). I couldn't stop laughing when they told their said their name while the theme of Young & Dangerous was playing in the background! I think one sentence I've heard before can summarize this serie "a superbly skillfull execution with such an amateurish ending..." |
