Peter Fong's Review: Some guy (ah Hoi from A kindred Spirit) is born as a "Keuk Tap Chat Sing Chi Yan" (the man who stands on seven stars, ie he's got seven birthmark on his foot). The legend says that a man with those birthmarks have control over the divine soldiers (Tien Ping, Heaven Soldiers) and has a talent for learning magic.

If taught in good, he'll become a invincible taoist. Of course, the demons of the world won't allow that, so they try to kill him before he can learn any taoist magic. But on the other hand, the taoists wants to teach him everything and protect him. Unfortunately, in this reincarnation, he's a "Nga Chai" (police officer) who doesn't believe in magic...

PF's opinion: From what I've seen so far. This is just a routine demon and god-serie, nothing much to write about. But as I recall, this is the first time "A Hoi" plays in a costume serie and to be honest, I don't like it much. He looks too modern to play a taoist (and to much of an idiot to be a hero). The serie is so far quite fun. A lot of humor, but the special effects are very lousy (as usual). If you've got nothing to do then watching this serie is a good option.
