Disclaimer: I don't own any of the character's cause they belong to Joss and higher powers, but I do own Cynthia and Daemon.
Author's note: I'd rate this 14A because of certain situations and language. Also this takes place between Go Fish and Becoming1&2 (when things got messed up royally).
*Sunnydale California*
Willow returned to her seat and picked up the white envelope that Spike had left for her to give to Buffy. Why had he kissed her? 'Was it just some kind of game, well I can think about this later, cause right now I have to get this to Buffy' she thought slightly confused at her reactions to him.
Buffy answered the door as her mom was, yet again, out of town art buying or something like that.
"Willow what's wrong?" Buffy was immediately worried by Willow's quietness, normally if she needed something she would have said it by now.
"This is for you Buffy," she handed her the letter, "Spike gave it to me at the Bronze and said to give it to you right away. Don't worry he didn't hurt me or anything it just shook me up a bit. And Buffy he was walking, he looked like his old self, be careful," Willow added softly.
"Thanks Will, uh can you call me in the morning cause I'd like to read this alone." Buffy mumbled as she shut the door. Buffy looked at the letter for the longest time before she opened it; it was the same type of paper used by Angelus to torment her with pictures and notes. 'I'm being silly, I'll just open it, he can't hurt me in here anymore' with that she opened the letter and took out the paper that was written in a slightly bolder hand than Angelus'.
Dear Slayer,
I know you won't likely want my help, who am I kidding you need my help. I can help you cure Angelus, don't ask me why but technically it's because he is a major pain in the ass. If you're interested meet me in the old mausoleum that leads to the underground at dusk tomorrow, and I'll tell you the rest, if you have the guts to show.
Spike
" I'll be there." With that she crumpled the note.
*The Sunnydale Docks*
Cynthia stood on the deck of the Tilia, 'What a shame none of the crew survived the terrible disease that swept through the ship'
"Daemon, is everything ready for my arrival at the manor?"
"Of course my lady, everything is going as planed. I also have the address of the current Slayer and special Watcher Council reports on her. They are proclaiming her the greatest Slayer of all time, her name is Buffy Summers."
"Buffy, what an unusual name. At least they'll remember it when she is gone"
*Dusk the next day*
Buffy walked up to the old mausoleum, she didn't like anything about this little meeting, it was secluded, closed in and there wasn't much room to maneuver.
"Here Spikey, where are you?" her sing-songy voice called sweetly out to him.
" I'm right here luv. So you showed, I didn't expect it, I at least figured you'd bring your little friends. You ready to deal, or am I wasting my time?" His voice was polite and he wasn't being very threatening, but Buffy knew better and she assumed her own playful stance.
"I'm ready to hear what you have to say and nothing more. So talk." She challenged him with her eyes to try anything.
"To reverse the loss of his soul you have to recreate the event that took it, whatever that was cause he hasn't told me what happened, he simply said that I wouldn't believe him if told me. What happened Slayer, I need to know if I'm gonna help you ducks. Quid Pro Quote luv."
"Do you want the details or just the overview, basically I slept with him and he turned into a creep again, get the picture. You happy now, does it give you some sick sense of pleasure to know that Angel knows me better than anyone, literally. And that all he does is ruin and twist what was supposed to be the happiest moment of my life." Spike saw that she was close to tears and he found himself reaching out a hand to wipe a tear, that had began to roll down her cheeks, away. She quickly turned her head away from his touch.
"It's okay luv. I know how much he can hurt someone but this is the worst thing that he has ever done. I would have to say he really has become one sick bastard, must be all those years of being a goodie-goodie. I know you aren't going to like this but to bring him back you're going to have to make love to him again, do you think that you're strong enough to deal? Or should we just kill him?" He was beginning to wonder if his plan was going to work considering what she was going to have to do. He knew that the hardest thing for a Slayer to do was to trust, it went against their very natures, almost an inbred survival instinct.
"If it's what it takes, I can deal. I always do… now what do you want from me?"
"Simple, safe passage out of Sunnyhell, and your word as the Slayer that you won't come after me."
"Deal, now how are we going to work this out. Cause I don't think the old 'Hey nice shoes, wanna f**k' approach is gonna cut it with him, he'll know something's up."
"I'll throw him some line of crap about if he can seduce the Slayer it will increase his power 10 fold. It's an old legend and nothing more cause I've tried it and the only thing I got for my trouble was one hell of a pain in the neck. If he bites, he'll come for you tomorrow night, be ready for him, Dru tells me that he comes on strong." Spike smiled and headed for the Bronze he had some seduction of his own to work on.

Willow was walking to the Bronze, she was supposed to meet Xander there but he had called to tell her that he and Cordelia had something planed and couldn't make it. She had decided to go anyway, maybe Spike would show, even though she realized that that was a very crazy thought and she was probably just asking for death she couldn't help but be intrigued by him. Nor could she deny that she had liked his soft goodbye kiss last night. 'Willow you need a life in the worst way, a killer gives you a kiss and all you can do is fantasize about him.'
As Willow sat watching the Friday night crowd move about the club she noticed, Devon walking toward her, he didn't look to good, his eyes were glazed and he was wobbling as he walked through the crowd. He was definitely on something and she didn't really feel like being taunted about Oz tonight.
"Hey, Willow. So how ya doing without your little sweetheart Oz? I'd love to get to know you… and you'd be really popular if you dated me." He would have gone on but Spike put a heavy hand on his shoulder.
"Keep your distance mate, you're intruding on my territory and if you walk away right now I'll let you live if not… well what is the other alternative?" Spike smiled over at Willow as Devon quickly walked/ran away from them. "Are you alright or was that wanker just hitting on you? No matter I don't think he'll bother you again. So how are you, I mean I didn't really act that nice and friendly last night. Must be a character flaw."
"I'm good and I was sorta hoping that you might show," seeing his smile she quickly added, "Cause I think you're interesting and I thought we could talk."
"Sure you did baby, talk that is. Well, no offense but talking in here is hard enough when you shout so would you care to take a walk? Maybe by the Ocean, I have wondered what the moon would look like on your hair." He added almost too softly for her to hear.
"Okay, but only if you promise not to bite at least until I know you better that is." She raised her eyebrow suggestively thinking 'Hey Buffy isn't the only one who can flirt with a vampire and live'
