\ Hello, as you all know, it is the summer so there's not much going on in ER Land. But I opened up my people daily today and this is what I saw...
WYLE TO REPLACE CLOONEY
"The void that will be left once George Clooney leaves NBC's "E.R." next season is expected to be filled by Noah Wyle, whose part in the series will be expanded. "He's always been vital to the show," an NBC source told TV Guide. Another key point: Instead of facing the exit door, Wyle, 27, has a contract that runs through the 1999-2000 season."

Now I know I've been out of the ER realm for a while, except for the Wyle Fans list, but I hadn't heard anything about this. So this means for sure that George Clooney isn't coming back? Oh whatever will Carol do? I'm a bit shocked!
