Okay you guys we got a new girl workin the reviews page! She likes to be called "Fast Foot 42!" Go check out her Welcome Page!! Here is her review. Sorry it took me so long to get last Thurdays episode up! It wasn't because she sent it late, I've been busy w/other things! Sorry!.. :)
"Friendly Fire" (R -- 5/28/98)
Hey all, it's Fast Foot 42 here again! As you all know, we've spiraled into week 2 of pit that is summer reruns :-( Because of this, my reviews are even mourning -- they will be lacking their usual pizazze. All it contains is the SUMMARY & SUCH, QUIZIE QUESTION, QUOTE, and THE ANTI-SISKLE AND EBERT RATING. Just think, only 3 months to go. Until then, we have our countdown to the X-Files movie, Fight the Future. Let's hope our fave duo does some serious lip-lockin'! Hey, E-mail me: dana_luvs_fox@hotmail.com
Ah, the Red-Haired-Haggis began her bossiness right away. She is so obsessed with climbing higher on the hospital corporate ladder, it's no wonder the stress has caused her to quit! Ordering around the nurses like they're useless gossipers, and redoing the whole friggin policy! I still hope Dr. Greene gets the chief of emergency medicine position!
Nice call on Hathaway's part, catching that guy with the pot! She's so awesome -- the way she lets everyone know who's boss without getting cocky about it. Then with that bulimic girl comin back, you could tell that she wished she was in a position where she could do more.
Here's a lesson we've learned from ER: never give clerks named Jerry gernade guns! *lol* That was SO stinking funny! Although, I can't say it was entirly his fault. Poor Cynthia, her first day and the ER explodes!
Good for Dr. Ross, telling the not-so-sweet-Brit "Lizzy" Corday that he's committed. I can see why she was turned on -- he's SO sexy and great with kids! *deep sighing heard coming from your computer*
Nice one Carter, drop your dinner in the laundry ;) Him and Anna make such a CUTE couple!!! Why can't they be together and make us all happy?! I guess good things are waiting for!
Now, what Dr.Greene needs is some true love. I think that the writers should have added in phone calls or visits or letters from Susan Lewis (remember her? That old friend her grew to love). If only she had stayed, she woulda nursed him to health
Q: What is the FIRST name of Carter's student?
That's it from me! Sorry, but no review next week -- I'll be soakin up the sun in Flordia with my fave cousins. Don't forget to e-mail me -- be it ER, X-Files, chit-chat, or critsism! HavefunGomad! JLY!! :-}

QUIZIE QUESTION
Okay, since no one gave me the answer to the last question *sad frown and soft cries* I guess this one is worth double! First person to e-mail me the answer gets info (as desired) about them and their name & e-mail on the next summary! It's okay if it's even a guess, I just need that button to read "You've got mail". It makes me feel loved! Address is: dana_luvs_fox@hotmail.com
Hint: It starts with an "M" and it's 3 letters long!
If no one e-mails me the answer, I won't allow myself to watch the X-Files movie! Now, no one can be that cruel to me, its just beyond human capability!
QUOTE
Doug Ross: So you trust me?
Carol Hathaway: This time
*kiss, kiss*
DR: You keepin' score?
CH: Yeah, you're ahead.
DR: Huh, say what?!
ANTI-SISKEL-&-EBERT-RATING
On a scalae of 1 to 10, 1 sucking worse than Chicago Hope and 10 kick Joe Bunda's butt (that's for you, Mrs. P!), I give this ep an 8, eventhough it's, like, the 5th time I've seen it. I loved the characterization, medical aspects, and funny sceenes. Plus, the flirtation of our two fave couples (well, at least one of them is a couple) helped tremedously
"Hole in the Heart" -- 5/14/98 episode Summary and Such
It was so narly how they opened the show, leaving off from the elevator scene. And that doctor sided with Doug (Dr. Ross, if ya may) about rapid de-tox of the baby :) Ha! Eat that Red Head Hick *Gee, could I be speaking of mean, ol' Carrie Weaver?!* Doug was so smart to go and tell the supervisor people that he crossed the line and stuff ! The look on Weaver's face when the doctors were backin him up was absolutely pRiCeLeSs!!!! Poor Weaver got so fed up with being wrong with being policy driven, and not being reassured the Chief of Emergency Medicine position, that she quit!
Then there is this whole scenario with Ramona not sponsoring little ol' Ramona not sponsoring Corday anymore. And then he leaves the country to at the same time she'll get the message -- WUSS!! I think, though, that Corday needs to stop being so spiteful and babyish about it. Like Benton said, she was running all over the hospital trying to get sponsors! But, Benton should be a tad more understanding *Oh yea, that's right! It's summer and Hell won't be freezing over yet!* I think he's getting sick of her, or maybe of just a relationship in general a relationship in general. How he was bothered by the karioke singing at the bar or the fact that she was more concerned about him that as more concerned about him than finding a new sponsor. And the fact that he never finished the argument with her…….
Now, what is the deal with Carter not wanting to do the ER anymore?! This dude is so indecisive he can't tell what gender he is!! *J/K all ya Carter fans* He might as well just quit and go into the family business! I think he makes a great doctor -- better than a surgeon, anyhow. I mean, he is so sweet and sensitive, and *sigh*
The only part I had a problem with was the ending! Usually, they zone in on each character before closing, mostly to leave ya hanging. I had to watch 2x just to find some cliff hangers! I expected more from our favorite writers *minus X-Files, of course!*
Well, 3 more months until a new episode! Think it'll be live?!
Lovers Lane
I am SO proud of Carol for staying by Doug's side, even though Greene and Weaver were telling her to lie! *Don't they know it's not nice to lie?!* And she totally believes he did the right thing and reassures any doubt he has. Those two are a match made in Heaven! *sigh* But just when the heck are they getting married?!
Now, Carter told Anna (Del Amico) about the missing Perkiset, and I'm proud of him for it, as misguided as his intentions were. I'm sure he did it not only to help Anna, but to find something wrong with Max. Oh, was he jealous about the little tram ride that they shared!!! Back to the Perkiset; I think Anna wants to believe that Max didn't take it, but deep down she totally doubts him like a 6 year old and Santa Claus! I mean, Chase did say the exact same thing!!!Can you say foreshadowing?!
I'm sure Doug and Carol are not gonna get booted outta the hospital. Heck, I may even go as far to say he'll get the peds attending job! I personally think that Georgey made up all those rumors about getting kicked off the show just to scare the crap outta us! Gee, wouldn't it be great if our Hottie and Carol got married to adopt the baby?! *sigh*
Remember last season or so how Carol was like "I quit" and that was a bunch of bull? I think its the same way with Carrie, only she just won't get the Chief of Emergency Med position. I might go as far to guess that Mark Green will get it! Seriously, he's a much better doctor than Carrie. I bet he'd get the offer, but turn it down!
At the beginning of the episode the daycare lady as like "Did ya get Reese's hearing checked?". I think little Reese Benton may have a hearing problem ;( I wonder if this'll bring Carla back a few times?
Lastly, it's my bet that either Max is using Perkiset and Carter'll help Anna through it and she begins to totally love Carter, or Max's not using but a fling happens between Randy and Max!Quote
Mark Greene: It's very serious what Doug did.
Carol Hathaway: You mean what we did, don't you?
MG: I think people understand it's the nature of your job to assist a doctor when they ask
you.
CH: I was there because I wanted to be there, not because Doug asked me.
Quizie Question
Okay, the first person to e-mail me the answer will get their name and stuff posted in the next review. E-me with the subject "ER question" or "I know it!" or somethin like that at dana_luvs_fox@hotmail.com

ER-Exodus
2/26/98
While on a paramedic run, Corday gets into a dangerous situation while
attempting to save a man in a collasping building. Attempting to save the
man, she ignores orders to abort the mission, but luckily escapes the
building alive. A chemical spill in the ER calls for evacuation of all
patients. When Kerry is intoxicated by the substance, Carter steps up and
takes control of the situation. While trying to move a little girl to
safety, Doug and Carol get stuck in an elevator. Doug risks his own
safety trying to escape to save the girls life. Carol makes some comments
suggesting that she may be ready to commit. Minutes after the ER returns
to normal, Mark returns, completely oblivious.
This synopsis is curtosy Carter! Thanks!!!!
