Could you possibly remind me what disease Casey's mother suffered from on
"Sunset Beach?" I thought it was some form of cancer, but I'm not sure.

- Casey's mother did have a rare form of cancer. One for which she needed to go to Oslo for a special experimental treatment.

Why was Susan Ward temporarily replaced by that girl from WB's H. Bay?
Susan Ward left SB to film a movie called "In Crowd". Sidney Penny was hired to play Meg Cummings in her absence. See also the Evans-Cummings Archives.

- When is Susan Ward's return air date? I miss her so much and I am anxious to see her again
- She was supposed to return on Nov. 15, but she did not. See also below.

- I was just wondering when Susan Ward was coming back to play Meg?! before i
had read that November 15th would be her first airdate, but that day came and
went. NO offense to Sydney Penny, but she is just NOT Meg and Susan needs to
come back to fill her shoes. So, do you know when she will be back?
- I had also heard that Susan was going to be back on Nov. 15, but she wasn't. I've only seen up until the 18th, and I still haven't seen her. But I did watch the final episode, and Susan was there. But now it's really a moot point. Sorry, I didn't get to this question sooner.

- In one of Ben's flashbacks in 1997, he remembered opening the door to
Maria's art-studio, and she got up from her bed and asked:'English, what are
You doing Here?'. Does this mean that she had an affair with another man?
And then, he had another flashback of Maria crying:'Save me Ben!' and once
he opened the door, he found her with Derek. And then he got angry and left.
ow why on earth would he leave his wifer all alone with some sick-minded
phsycho? He jolly werll knew that Maria was innocent and that Derek was the
one who tricked her right????

- Ben thought that Maria was having an affair with Derek. Maria thought that Derek was Ben. It was a classic case of miscommunication.

- Sunset Beach isn't divulging any finale spoilers. But I for one am pulling for a Meg/Ben reunion and a walk off into the sunset.

- We all know that Ben was teh first person Miss.Mary Sunshine(Meg) met on the
far-side of the pier right? Well, someone said that it was Mark, whom she
met first. Is this true? 'Cause I'm hoping it is.....Meg certainly does NOT
belong with Ben.....No way!!!!!

- OK...Meg met Mark on the peir before she met Ben...note on the pier NOT on the far side of the peir! Meg and Ben first saw each other at sunset on the far side of the pier, just as the legend states.

- I noticed that Meg's breast size increased alot before her leave from the show. Did she have breast implants done???
- I noticed Meg's breasts too...but I don't think that she had implants...I think that she had been wearing clothes that accentuated her breasts.

- They haven't said what Derek was up to during the time he was gone; I assume that they will eventually. But I assume that he and Tess were in Seattle planning what they are doing now.

- Sunset Beach is not divulging finale spoilers, but I think that it would be a horrible disservice to the fans who have been pulling for them since day #1 to keep them apart at the end.

- Okay if Derek replaced Ben, then where is Ben? The last time Derek took Ben's place he had him tied up
someplace. Since it will be Derek, not Ben that Maria will be leaving with does this mean that Ben will
return from his trip to Seattle and be with Meg?
- Ben is currently tied up in Seattle...we'll just have to see if he breaks free. =)
