Buffy Summers sat under a tree in the Sunnydale graveyard. Suddenly she got that feeling; vampires. ' Great, time to play ' she thought.
" Hurry up, I have homework to do." She yelled obviously annoyed.
" Oh, so sorry to keep the poor little Slayer up." one vampire answered in reply.
" You should be glad I'm in a good mood-" but didn't get to finish.
" Lucky us! I SO terrified! '' An ugly female said.
" Now I'm in the mood to kick-butt!''Just then she delivered a roundhouse kick to a vampire, stunning the vampire to where she shoved a wooden stake into its heart. Then the other one lunged at her and she moved aside and the vampire slammed into the tree. With a flick of her wrist the vampire was dust.
" I'm impressed! Couldn't have done it better myself. Well, actually I could, only the slayer would be the one dead!"
That voice tensed up her whole body and she readied herself for a long battle.
" Hello Angelus, dead and well I presume?'' she asked.
" Yes, just fine. But I didn't come here to kill you, I brought you something.'' he said.
" You brought me something?"
" Of course, why don't you trust your lover?" he said trying to sound hurt.
" What is it? I don't have all night." she said impatiently.
" Patients, patients my love. Ahh, here it is! I picked it out myself, isn't wonderful?," he smirked, "come out my dear."
" Hello Buffy."
Suddenly she recognized the voice, " Mom?" she said weakly.
" Yes, deary, Mommy's home!"
Buffy's knees felt to weak to support her and gave out. She crumpled to the ground.
" Oh, poor Buffy we were to hard on her." her mom said pathetically.
" I don't think so!" Angelus said trying not to stifle a laugh, but gave up and laughed out loud.
" Me too!" she answered back.
" Why don't we have a little snack?" Angelus suggested toward the unconscious slayer.
" I don't think so." said a new voice.
Both were startled and looked up to see Kendra, the other vampire slayer, swing her leg around and kick them both in the face. She fought them both off and in less than no time they were both fleeing. Kendra stepped carefully over to the other slayer and lightly shook her shoulder.
" Buffy are you okay?" she asked quietly.
She woke up and remembered what happened. She broke down crying.
" Buffy, tell me what's wrong!" Kendra pleaded.
" He-he killed her!" she finally managed to choke out.
" Who?"
" My Mom!"
Kendra took in a sharp breath and threw her arms around the other girl. They both rocked back and forth until the sun came up.
" Buffy, we need to leave." Kendra said.
" Okay, I need to tell Willow & co. what happened." the moment she said that she started to cry again. She cried all the way to school.

" Hey, Buffmister! How ya doin'?" Xander called out when he saw Buffy. She looked up and that instant he know something was really wrong. He'd never seen her like that, hair all thrashed, eyes scarlet red, and wearing the same clothes as yesterday.
" Buffy, nice outfit!" one girl said as she walked passed her.
" Buffy? You ok?" Xander asked.
She came rush towards him and fell into his arms, sobbing.
" He killed my mom, he made her a vampire."she cried hysterically.
" Oh no!" was all he could say as he lead her toward the library.
" Good morning Buff- lord what's wrong?" asked Giles very concerned.
" Buffy?" asked her best friend Willow.
As she said that Xander dragged them both off into the librarians office. Kendra once more put her arms around the sobbing slayer. A minute later Willow came rushing out tears streaming down her face. She grabbed Buffy up saying:
" Buffy I'm so sorry, so sorry."

Later that night Buffy lay in her mothers room thinking. She had run out of tears early that night and lay there next to Willow. Willow and Kendra were staying the night with her. After Xander had told them what had happened Willow held her for what seemed like hours just crying and hugging. Giles told her to go home and not to worry about hunting, Xander and himself would take care of it. When she got home she went straight to her Mothers room, not eating, not drinking, just thinking about why he would do this, other than trying to torment her. Soon after she fell asleep. Dreaming about her mother.

" Buffy, honey ,wake up." called a soothing voice.
" Mom?" Buffy answered.
" Hurry up and follow me." her mother said.
Buffy got up and followed her mother out of the house and into the street. She found herself next to mother in front of an old warehouse on the outskirts of town.
" Mom, why are we here?" Buffy asked.
Her mother grabbed her by the shoulders and looked her in the eyes and said: " Buffy the troubles in there, but remember the answer is in the blood, the blood."
With that she disappeared.
" Mom! Come back!" she screamed.
She awoke to Willow shaking her.
" Buffy! Buffy, wake up!" Willow said.
" Willow I need to see Giles." Buffy said calmly.
" Um, ok. Let me get dressed." she said curiously.

" Giles! Giles?" Buffy called when she and Willow entered the library.
" Buffy what are you doing here? I told you to stay home!" Giles said.
" Giles I had a dream last night. A-about my mom."
she said hesitantly.
" That's reasonably true, after a death you can have dreams about them an-" he didn't get to finish.
" It's different. She told me that the troubles in the old abandoned warehouse, and said the answers in the blood. Do you know what that means?"she asked.
" Well I stayed late and researched why he needed your mother and I found something. Have you ever given your mother blood? Well, um, anyway the reason he needs your mother is that a ritual will be performed, and your mother will give her blood to, um, Angelus, he will drink it and if you have given your mother blood, since you are the slayer, your blood, will make him more powerful than he already is. But luckily you haven't given your mother any blood, so this is all for nothing." he said taking a long breath.
" Oh, no! I have given my mother blood. When we were still living in LA my mother, she, got attacked, but I killed the vampire before he got to far. I took my mother to the hospital, since she lost so much blood I said I would donate some." she said.
" This isn't good, not at all. Um, I'll look some more to see when this ritual is and I suggest you go home and rest incase you need to fight, at all."he said worriedly.
" Tell Wil I went home." she said.
" Ok" he answered.

" Hey, Wil what's this?" Xander asked holding up a yellow disk that he found in Ms. Calendar's (old) classroom.
" Um, I dunno. Let's see." she said knotting toward the computer.
She slid the disk into the computer and a minute later gasped at what she saw.
" X-xander, it's the ritual for giving Angel his soul back."she barely managed to choke out.
" W-w-what? I can't be!" he said.
Willow popped out the disk and started running toward the library with Xander right behind her.

' I don't care what they say I'm gong to kill Angelus tonight!' Buffy thought as she was walking home.
" Hello? Kendra?" she called into her house.
' Good, nobody is home so I can get some sleep before I go.'
She climbed the stairs to her room. Five minutes later she was fast asleep.

" Buffy, wake up, now!" said an anxious voice.
" Mom? What do you want now?" Buffy asked confused.
" It's tonight, the only way to stop Angelus from destroying the world, is, is killing me. Hurry, we don't have much time. You know were its going to happen and when, so you must destroy me! If you don't then Angelus will get my blood and will destroy you, he is gonna make me make you a vampire." she said.
" I will kill him." Buffy said through clenched teeth.
Buffy walked confidently toward Angelus apartment, took two stairs at a time going down stairs. She knew what she had to do, kill him.

Angelus was just waking up when his door was kicked down and the slayer walked in.
" Walkie, walkie, lover boy. How are ya?" Buffy asked.
" What are you doing here? I other things to do !" Angelus sounded angry but Buffy didn't care.
" I came to destroy you!" she yelled at him.
" Oh, that's a first!" he told her.
With that she lunged at him throwing him off his feet.

While the fight continued, Willow performed the ritual for restoring Angel's soul.
" I hope this works!" Willow said as she finished the ritual.

" Ohhhh" was all Angelus said as he fell over on the floor in pain.
Buffy watched as Angelus fell, wondering what had happened.
" Buffy? What wrong? Why are you looking at me that way? Ohhh, no!" he said as tears filled his eyes.
" Angel? Is it really you?" she said as tears filled her eyes.
" Buffy, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to do it."he whispered.
" Oh, Angel, I've missed you so much!" she said as she rushed over to him.
" Your Mom! Oh, lord I never meant for that to happen!" he said quietly.
" Oh, look at the two love birds! Sorry to disturb you!" said a scornful voice.
" Mother, how are you?" Buffy asked coldly.
" I'll be once you two are dead." she answered calmly.
" Let's go then! I'm ready to get this over with." she called to her dead mother.
" Buffy, are you sure you want to do this?" Angel asked behind her.
" I have to, or she'll be here forever and I certainly wouldn't want that!" she answered.
" Oh, I wouldn't want to upset the slayer!" Her (sorta mother) said.
As soon as she said that Buffy delivered a punch to her mothers diverted face and knocked her off balance. With that advantage Buffy kicked her in the head, with a little hesitation staked her.
" I really can't believe I just did that!" she exclaimed.
" It'll be alright, I promise." with that he took her up in his arms and kiss her.
" Now we should go tell Willow and the others what happened." she said.
" Ok. Buffy? Ilove you." he added quietly.
" I love you too." she answered.
