The Bandit is a squirrel who was raised in a poor orphanage, never knowing
who his parents were. The local bank who had agreed to a mortgage a while
ago was about to forclose on said orphanage and motherly headmistress of the
place. He went out in a disguise to steal just enough money (What do the
animals use for money? I could never figure that out) to pay off the mortgage.
He thought he would never do it again after that, but he had bitten into the
forbidden nut (new twist on an old saying) and was hooked. He didn't want to
be an out-and-out thief, but he loved the thrill of testing himself. He wanted
to be a "good guy" so he adopted a "Robin Hood" type of character, stealing from
the rich and giving to the poor. With as much flair as Darkwing Duck does his
job. This might be the basis of my first fanfic, if I ever get the chance to
write it.

Hmmm... Description? Typical anthropomorphized grey squirrel, wearing black
trenchcoat and fedora, goggles with dark-colored strap over eyes. Likes to do
things with flair. He is basically good at heart, like an animal Robin Hood
type, and believes that robbing people in dark alleys and such is beneath him.
Gives almost all of his "earnings" away to the poor. Doesn't like "fat cat"
types (which should make for an interesting encounter with you-know-who!).
Loves the challenge of big things, like some kind of game with the goal of
succeeding. He doesn't do it for the prize, but to see if he can. Usually he
will leave behind the thing he is after and will take a small trophy. To
emphasize this, one day if I get the chance, I am going to write a fanfic where
the Bandit sorta takes Fat Cat's whiskers while he is asleep. And maybe some of
the contents of whatever safes that FC has around. He is not an evil guy, per se.
He just doesn't have the heart to do mean things.

He can also invent things that he would need to pull off some of his grand adventures.
He has a couple hang-gliders that he can use, along with a spring-powered plunger gun.
It has just enough rope to point it towards an open skylight and make a spectacular
exit. He also uses various smoke bombs loaded with standard smoke and stink gas.
