THE "OLDEN" DAYS

BERT

EVERY HOUSEWIFE WANTED TO BE THIS WOMAN IN THE 1940'S AND 50'S

CHARITA BAUER

I was just a babe in Grandma's arms when I can remember hearing BERT and BILL's voice eminating from the old radio. Grandma would cease all work and we would cuddle in her big old rocker and listen to the radio soaps. Most vivid in my mind was the music and the "TIDE" comercial. I use TIDE to this day.

ED AND MIKE WITH MOM

ED was my first movie star crush.....while the other girls were swooning over Elvis and Ricky, I loved ED

PAPA BAUER

I remember him being kinda cranky and I could never figure out why but no matter how mad he got at his son, Bert could always gentle him.

BILL

MY FAVORITE ED

THE LATER...OLDEN DAYS...THE 80'S

HARLAN BILLY LEWIS...HB

If anyone could handle BILLY and REVA, it was HB. You could hear the love in this old mans voice as he tried to make them see the error of their ways.

MY FAVORITE ALAN

The untimely death of Christopher Bruneau, changed the character of Alan foe ever. Although Ron Rains is a super cast for the roll, I really liked CB.

THE 4 MUSKETEERS

Who could forget these four. Phillip, Beth, Mindy and Rick...MY ALL TIME FAVORITE STORY LINE...

HENRY

Henry was the epitome of money and class. An old softie with a punch.

LAST...AND PROBIBLY...BEST

ROGER THORPE

MICHAEL ZAZLOW....Who could have asked for a more versaitle actor. The man has a velvet voice. No wonder holly could not resist the man.

I believe my favorite story line was the "man in the mask". He and Alex were soooooo cool together.

IF ANYONE HAS PICTURES OF THE EARLY DAYS OF GUIDING LIGHT.....I AM SEARCHING... PLEASE EMAIL ME AT: cats96@advant.com
