"Here Come The Brides" Top ??? Lists

In the tradition of David Letterman, Paula has provided us with thought-provoking "Here Come The Brides" lists, and welcomes your additions:

Signs that you watch too much "Here Come The Brides":

  1. You go ballistic when people call ships boats.
  2. You have sudden interest in works by Shakespeare.
  3. You named your 3 children Jason, Joshua and Jeremy even though you had 3 girls.
  4. You look in college books to find out if they have a "lumberjack" course you might take....courtesy of Laurie in CA

  6. If you are a woman:
    • You found corsets in a used clothing store and now wear them instead of bras.
    If you are a man:
    • Your wardrobe consists of mostly flannel plaid shirts.
  7. You can quote scenes from more then one episode.
  8. You go to restaurants made to look like log cabins with old-fashioned interiors and look for Lottie, Candy, Biddie, Jason, Joshua and Jeremy look-alikes. (or worse yet, look for the actual people!)...courtesy of Laurie in CA

  16. You had your name legally changed to Candy Pruitt, Jason Bolt or Aaron Stempel.
  17. You quit your job and moved to Seattle looking for descendents of the Bolt brothers.

Fun Things To Do In 1870s Seattle:

  1. Drink or hide all the whiskey in town right before Clancey is due to arrive.
  2. Tell Aaron Stemple that Bridal Veil Mountain is now legally his BUTthat the Government has declared it a National Park and he can no longer cut down trees.
  3. Replace all of Jason's Shakespeare Books with comics
  4. Stuff your bra and walk around in front of Jeremy when he is out with Candy.
  5. Hollow out some logs and turn the Bolt Brothers log flum into a ride.
  6. Paint the word "BOAT" in large letters on Clancy's ship
  7. Sew some buttons on Jeremy's shirt and make button holes so he has to button his shirt.
  8. Hide all of Joshua's shirts and buy up all the same material and shirts at Ben's store.
  9. Tell all the loggers that Biddie has just won the lottery and is now worth millions.
  10. Cut all the Brides's dresses into mini skirts.

Things you will never see on "Here Come The Brides":

  1. Aaron Stempel ever getting control of Bridal Veil Mountain.
  2. Jeremy ever buttoning his shirt.
  3. Joshua ever changing his shirt.....come to think of it does Jason ever change his?
  4. Jason giving bad advice or not being able to talk himself out of a situation
  5. An episode that Clancey doesn't have a least one drink
  6. Joshua's falls in love and the girl sticks around
