  • Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth) has signed a contract to stay on the show for three more years.

  • Steve Burton (Jason) will return to General Hospital later this summer, reprising his role as Jason Morgan. His first air date will be on Friday, August 25. Burton will be returning for 6 weeks. Jason's return to Port Charles will have a huge impact on Carly and Sonny's relationship -- he does not know that they lost their baby. Jason will also have run-ins with the entire Quartermaine family, especially A.J. Burton said of his return to the show, "General Hospital is like family to me, so it will be nice to spend time back at home."

  • Sarah Brown (Carly) resigned. They gave her an offer she couldn't refuse.

  • Brad Maule (Tony) has signed a deal to stay on the show.

  • Billy Warlock (A.J.) has re-signed with the show after many negotiations.
