A stunning young woman dressed in a tight black leather cat suit and mask stood with her hands on her hips, a whip coiled and hung from her belt. A man stood next to her dressed also in a tight black leather overall, and silver studs, he glowered at the gathering below them with disdain, but a glint of devilment in his eye.
"Sorry did we make a mistake with the guest list?" Alata asked a little concerned to think she had forgotten anything.
"Well I am here now, do you want me to make a scene or can we come in?"
"Everything alright Honey?" Hercules asked as he came up and stood next to Alata placing a protective arm around her shoulder and glared at the intruders.
Danaan looked around, as she fixed her dress, which had somehow almost come off, to gaze at the newcomers. Her jaw dropped open in surprise as she realised who it was. "damn it she is always horning in on my fun!" she muttered.
"Hey where are you going?" a deep smooth voice came from under her, a large hand slowly made its way towards her heaving breasts. Distracted once again, Danaan shrugged her shoulders and made herself a little more comfortable. He didn't really want that belt anymore did he. Cokie sat back gasping for breath, her clothes strewn about her was total oblivious to what was happening around her. Eherk grinned and pulled her back down towards him, he wasn't finished yet.
Kevfriend held Sherk tight, not to sure if he was pretending to be frightened of the storm so he could be cuddled or if he was frightened. Either way it was lovely.
Julie and Dherk finally stopped dancing and sat down for a drink and to rest. Taking in the goings on around them with an air of disinterest, Julie leaned across and offered to loosen Dherk's shirt a little he was so hot after all.
Melite reclined back and rested her head on his arm, Dreamherk stroked her face gently, she was totally under his spell, slowly he wove some magical dreams around her, making her forget where she was.
Freya drew Csov aside to show him her latest acquisition. A small tattoo on her left breast just above her heart. It was shaped in a golden lasso with a whip crossing it, the initials of C S were engraved on the whip handle and F was on the lasso. He looked down at the tattoo then back at Freya, a look of glee in his eye, without a word except for a low growl, he grabbed her and hoisted her onto his hips, nuzzling his face between her breasts.
Voluptua straightened her dress and tried to look a little composed. Her face flushed prettily a small mark showing on the side of her neck. She looked down at Iherk who lay there staring at her not feeling so innocent anymore.
Maria flopped down on the cushion next to her flushed and happy, her Fherk sat next to her, he picked up her feet and started to massage them. Maria sighed happily and rested her head on Voluptua's shoulder. "This has been the best night of my life!" she uttered, Voluptua let her hand roam over Iherk's chest and smiled sweetly, "Oh Maria you took the words right out of my mouth!"
Alata stared at the mysterious woman, why did she seem so familiar? Suddenly as she watched the late arrivals make their way to the buffet and wine, did she realise who it was.
Where was Danaan? She would have to be told.
Quickly she filled Hercules in on who it was as the searched for Danaan. Although it didn't take them long to find the alcove where she had been all night with Nbherk.
"Ummm Danaan you might want to pull your clothes on!" Alata said quietly as she touched the nearly naked woman on the shoulder, "we might have a slight ummm problem!"
"huh? Oh!" Danaan mumbled a little distracted, she looked down at her Herk with regret as she hastily pulled her clothes on and looked up at Alata and Hercules.
"Look who is over there!" Alata said pointing over to the buffet, Danaan's gaze followed her finger and rested on the newest arrivals. She didn't imagine it she had turned up with him………………
Straightening herself once more Danaan took a regretful look at Nbherk and then marched over to the buffet table, hmmm there are some strawberries and cream, oh now what could she do with that.
"Now young lady what do you….?" Danaan started wagging her finger a little, taking a stance of motherly readiness.
"Why hello Mama, it is wonderful to see you here!" Wydkitten smiled kissing her mother lightly on the cheek. "I thought I would pop in and see what all the fuss was about!" she finished with an innocent look.
Danaan looked at her and Bsov suspiciously for a moment, then glanced over to the strawberries and cream. Her man was waiting after all, "well okay but you do anything to disturb anyone and you will hear from me all over the place is that clear?" she warned putting her best stern mother look on her face. Then she walked over to the buffet gathered a huge platter together and strode off, her head held high.
Beth and Jason found a quiet place to rest by an open fire. She settled gracefully into his arms and snuggled quietly down. He felt so warm and nice, she knew she was totally safe in his arms.
Megaera watched her Mherk with a dreamy look on her face she felt so tired all of a sudden, did he put a spell on her?
Chantal yawned sleepily and turned to face her Bsov, she was so tired all of a sudden, she fell into his arms, without the usual tussling between them and held him tight. She was just so tired.
One by one all of the amazons were yawning and so tired looking for their men to curl up with. Anexa fought the tiredness as best as she could but finally she dropped her whip and fell into the arms of Wsov. Herkite yawned as she fell asleep collapsing into Herk's arms. There was something totally wrong. All of the Amazons were falling asleep leaving their men wide awake something wasn't right. Danaan slowly fell asleep her head resting on Nbherk's abdomen a strawberry with cream dripping from it still in her hand.
Wydkitten watched in horror as her fellow sisters and her own mother fell into deep sleeps there must be something she could do, but as she turned to speak to Bsov her sight blurred and she fell into his arms.
Alata and Hercules looked at each other in horror, a small tear escaped as she slumped forward into his lap "What is happening?" she ground out as her eyes closed.
Hercules gently laid his love down, putting a soft cushion under her head, he caught the tear as it rolled down her cheek, "don't worry my love I will find out what is going on!" he whispered as he straightened and looked around him. All of the amazons were sound asleep either sitting or lying down, all of the Herks, Sovs and Kull were standing around looking bewildered.
Sherk wondered around looking scared and wringing his hands, he tried to wake them up but no one woke up. It scared him even more.
Hercules motioned for all of them to meet him at the steps, NBHerk had a little trouble disentangling himself from Danaan, regretfully he dressed, bending down he planted a soft kiss on her cheek and took the dripping strawberry from her hand.
The whole ballroom lit up with another bolt of blue lightening, this storm was not natural that was for sure. One by one the Herks, Sovs and Kull started to feel dizzy and weak, SHerk wrung his hands even more, why did the others look so sick, he wanted to play, how come they didn't want to anymore?
Hercules fought to stay standing he needed to calm SHerk down before he did anything without realising it and his own strength.
Kull groaned and managed to stay standing, he lurched over to Sherk and Hercules, Sov shook his head and tried to regain his strength, this was soooo disappointing he was just starting to enjoy himself with Kallista, now this.
One by one all of the men dropped their strength waning fast.
A sudden flash of light made them turn to the top of the stair case. A tall woman with electric blue skin and lighter blue hair stood there laughing. Another Enforcer.
Lifting her hands she fired bolts of blue lightening at the men, laughing even harder as they struggled to get out of the way.
Finding some strength Hercules and the Sov launched themselves at her, only to be flung aside like rag dolls. Kull watched his anger growing, then he roared with his attack determined to stop this abomination of Hera's.
The lightening sent a searing burn across Kull's chest and he fell to the floor gasping for breath.
"None of you puny mortals or mongrel gods can stop me!" she laughed, as she let another tirade of lightening loose.
SHerk watched her hurt his friends, she was the one who drugged the amazons, she hurt the guys. "NO!" he shouted and rushed towards her, she threw lightening at him, but he brushed it aside and kept coming, "You don't play fair! you're not nice!" he yelled his rage building.
Shocked the Enforcer backed up a little and sent a flaming ball of lightening at SHerk, he held is hand up and swatted the ball away like it was a fly. When he had reached her, he grabbed her around the throat, choking her. A blue hue engulfed him and he seemed to glow with it. Her hold over the others was loosened enough to let them move and get some strength back. The Amazons moved slightly, it was working. SHerk sagged a little bit he never let his grip slip.
Hercules made his way to them, he needed to help SHerk, he could feel him lose his fight with her, absorbing most of her energy. Flinging him aside, the Enforcer started to gather her energies aside. Hercules attacked then, while she still gathered herself. He managed to knock her down, startling her.
Bouncing back she hurled a bolt at him, hitting him square in the chest. As he fell backwards he could feel himself spiraling into blackness.
Alata opened her eyes to see her lover falling backwards, groggily she crawled to him, desperately praying that he was still alive.One by one the amazons woke, watching in horror as their men tried to fight off the new Enforcer sent by Hera.
Kallista jumped up and with Hilara they rushed the Enforcer, she had not come across the power of the Amazons before. Danaan adjusted her dress and was ready to come out fighting, it was bad enough that she wrecked the fun of the ball, but the Enforcer had hurt her baby girl. She attacked with her full strength sending the Enforcer flying. Freya joined in the attack and used her lasso to try and rope the Enforcer. With a roar the Enforcer let loose her lightening flinging the Amazons back, their costumes becoming blackened.
Lisa helped the stunned Ares up, even he was affected by the power of the Lightening Enforcer. He watched with disdain then he sent his own ball of energy at her, but it was of no use she deflected it easily.
Megaera ran to the side of the ThemisofDelphi, she was still so pale and fragile, together Megaera and MHerk shielded the sick woman from the lightening.
Within moments the Amazons and their men were gathered together ready to fight this new monster of Hera's. Ares shuddered at the thought of fighting alongside the Herk's and Sov's but what choice did he have, Mother dearest had wrecked the fun he had planned for himself and Lisa.
HeavenlyHerk gathered his strength and powers together, and with as much distaste as what Ares had felt he stood next to the God. Together they sent their balls of energy at the Enforcer, she absorbed their energies and returned stronger bolts to them. No one could stop her.
SHerk struggled to rise, now he was mad. He pushed himself up and launched himself at the Enforcer, from behind he took her off guard, once again he was engulfed in the blue light. Missferal and Kull moved on the pair as they struggled, helping SHerk as much as they could, Missferal fought her hardest and dirtiest, until she was burnt badly, collapsing into Kull's arms. Shait ran to her fallen sister's side, bandaging the burn and nodding to Kull he had to go back and help the others. Jason and Iolaus picked themselves off the floor finally, they were still weak but tried to help in the scuffle. Anexa and WSov both flicked their whips out, trying to get the Enforcer.
Hestia got all of the Amazons remaining to gather around the wounded, linking together they protected the injured like a shield.
Astrild and Chantal whispered to each other, then Chantal moved silently over to Alata and explained what they had in mind. She grabbed Danaan and moved over to where the guys were standing. Julie and WikeWike distracted her by running towards her, long enough for the plan to be put into action.
Hercules grabbed the steel pole and hurled it towards the Enforcer. It went directing through her piercing her chest. She staggered weakened by the pole. The Sov picked it up and aimed it at the Enforcer striking her in the head. The electrified pole landed at Ares' feet, picking it up he snarled, "No one ruins my plans and gets away with it!" and threw the pole hitting her directly where a heart would be. The Enforcer dropped to her knees her powers fading. "Hera!" she screamed skyward.
Josee and Cjane helped SHerk as he stumbled shaken and badly hurt he would need lots of loving to feel better.
Star helped ZHerk find some bandages and clean clothes for everyone, as the others finished the Enforcer off. Rabbit, Aphrael and Cokie found the some wood to remake the fires, they needed warmth in the ballroom.
The Enforcer slumped a little more the steel pole absorbing the energy that fed her power. YIolaus and Castalia found another pole handing it to Herk they watched as he plunged it into the Enforcer draining her of her last powers. Suddenly in a burst of light, she disappeared leaving a scorch mark behind.
Lori and Echo8888 helped gather the food and wine, tending to the more injured. Kendaa with the help of Mairi and Maria lit the candles and placed them around the dance floor for the others to see better. Kevfriend nursed SHerk's head on her lap stroking his hair and murmured soothing words to him. He clung to her scared and weak but glad she was there and that he had help save the others.
"I did good?" he asked Hercules when he came to check on him,
"You did real good!" Hercules answered patting him on the shoulder, "You were so brave!" Kevfriend added kissing him on the forehead. SHerk smiled and snuggled closer to Kevfriend enjoying being cuddled.
Catstale and Beth helped Iolaus and Jason to couches, both nursed badly burnt hands, the two amazons smiled and went to nurse them better.
Herkite, Voluptua and Melite found the scattered members of the band reassuring them that everything was now fine. They started to play quiet, soothing music easing everyone shocked nerves.
Nannyboo and LHerk slipped away to find some refreshing lemonade in the castle kitchen, taking Hestia and ChHerk with them to help carry it back.
Finally the slightly bedraggled group of amazons and heroes sat around together on the dance floor. Some more injured than others but all glad to have survived the attack from the Lightening Enforcer.
Alata moved closer to Hercules clutching him tight for a moment, he bent down and kissed her tenderly, the tension finally leaving her, "It was a wonderful night, wasn't it?" she asked her voice trembling a little!"
"It was truly a night to remember!" Hercules replied kissing her again.
Ares stood and gathered Lisa in his arms,"we are outta here!" he snarled and they were gone in a flash.
Danaan sat up and looked around at the remaining ones, "well are we gonna sit around here and feel sorry for ourselves, or are we gonna have some fun?" she asked loudly, taking NBHerk in her arms, Kat laughed out loud at her mother and followed suit with BSov.
Soon the tensions gone the ball turned into a party and the couples moved away slightly, being careful with each others wounds.
Hercules smiled and gathered Alata in his arms, this was the kind of party that he liked.
The dawn broke over the castle casting everything in a golden light, no one however, made an effort to leave, they were all too busy getting over the night's excitement in the only way true Amazons and Heroes knew how.
