Jen was sent to Capeside to get away from her past. She was a wild child and was trying to stay away from all that. She started of okay with Dawson but as things got complicated she started moving towards her old wild ways.
Becoming friends with Abby morgan was certainly not a good choice as she pulled her further away from her staying away from wild things choice.
After Abby died Jen got kicked out of her house but a month of living at the Leery's helped her. After being rejected by her parents Jack let her stay with him, Jack and Jen soon became friends.
Now she is back home with her Grams and Jack has returned to his home. She is currently seeing freshman Henry Parker and is fairly happy.
