Chapter One
It was a sunny summer morning when Justin woke up. He reached over and hit his brother Matthew on the arm. “Wake up moron,” he said. Matthew got up and got dressed. They went downstairs to find their mom standing by the door with their bags. They grabbed the bags and ran out the door to their stables. They jumped on their Ponytas and started riding to Blaine’s Gym. When they got there they called the Ponytas into their pokeballs. Justin and Matthew ran into the gym and up to Blaine. Blaine handed them each a pokeball. “Go pokeball,” said Justin. The ball flew threw the air and when it hit the ground a red beam of light appeared and formed in a Growlithe. “Growl Growl Growlithe,” said the Growlithe. “Oh yeah a Growlithe,” shouted Justin. Matthew threw his ball and the same thing happened except a Vulpix appeared. “Vul Vulpix Vul,” said the Vulpix. They both bid their pokemon to return. Blaine then gave them each a Pokedex and extra pokeballs. They set of on their pokemon journey. Justin and Matthew walked into the Pokemon Mansion. They both figured they could work their pokemon up there. As the walked in a Grimer came from the shadows it screamed “ Grimer,” at the top of it’s lungs. Justin reached behind him and grabbed Ponyta’s ball. “Go Ponyta,” he said as he threw the softball-sized sphere to the ground. A bright red light appeared and took the shape of Ponyta. “Ponyta Stomp now,” said Justin. Ponyta tried to stomp Grimer but his hooves sunk into the slime of the Grimer. Grimer began sucking Ponyta into it’s body. “Ponyta ember,” shouted Justin. Ponyta’s body began to flare up. Grimer was burned to a crisp. Justin grabbed his special odor absorbing pokeball and threw it at the Grimer. The pokeball hit the Grimer and it was caught. “Alright I caught Grimer,” shouted Justin. As they continued into the mansion it got darker and darker. Matthew started to turn back when they heard a noise from behind them. They turned to see a gigantic Koffing staring at them. Matthew fell back and one of his pokeballs and Vulpix came from his ball. Vulpix automatically started using his Flamethrower attack. The Koffing was hurt but the managed to use his sludge attack on Vulpix. Vulpix was blinded as the Koffing started tackling him. Matthew told Vulpix to return. Matthew was about to call out Ponyta but something materialized in front of them. Justin pulled out his pokedex and pointed it at the pokemon in front of them. "#151: Mew - So rare, it is said to be a mirage by many experts. Only a few have been seen worldwide." Mew started glowing and soon it turned and socked the huge Koffing. "Wow!" exclaimed Justin. He opened his pokedex and pointed it at the Mew again, "Mews attacks: #1 Mega Punch." The Koffing fainted and Matthew grabbed a pokeball and flung it at the Koffing. It rolled for a minute then let out a familiar pinging sound. "Alright I caught Koffing," shouted Matthew. " I am going to catch this Mew," said Justin. He grabbed a pokeball and threw it at the Mew. Right before the pokeball hit Mew the Mew disappeared. As they were leaving the mansion a couple of things caught his eye. There was a box in the corner of the main room. Justin walked over to the box and opened it. He pulled out a pokeball that looked exactly like all the other pokeballs except the top was purple. In the ball there was a note. It read “This special pokeball is called the Masterball. It has a 100% chance of catching any pokemon.” Inside the box he found three more Masterballs. He found another pokeball put it’s top was clear. There was a note in this pokeball too. It read “ This is the Ghostball. It can hold all three ghost pokemon in here all the time. It also has a 100% chance of catching any ghost pokemon.” There was only one of these pokeballs. In the box there was also a bag of candy. On the label it said “ These are the only Ultra Rare Candies in the world these will raise a pokemon’s level by 5.” There was one last thing in the box it was a pokeball. In the ball there was a pokemon. Justin could tell by the weight of the pokeball. “Go pokeball,” Justin said quietly so Matthew wouldn’t hear him. Matthew was waiting for him outside. When the pokeball hit the ground it opened to reveal a Lapras. There was a note on the Lapras’ back. Justin walked over to the note and grabbed it. The note read “ This is one of the few Lapras’ left in the world.” “This is great,” Justin thought as he told Lapras to return. He shoved all the things that were in the box into his bag. He decided to not tell Matthew about all the stuff he found. With that final thought he ran outside to meet Matthew.
Chapter 2 As Justin meets up with Matthew outside Justin finds Matthew fishing on the beach. When Justin reached Matthew he saw Matthew struggling with the pole. He grabbed the pole and since he was much stronger than Matthew was he pulled the line up easier than Matthew had. When the end of the line came into view a Squirtle was on it. “ Go Koffing,” Matthew said loudly. As the ball hit the sand it popped open the Koffing appeared. “Koffing sludge attack now,” Matthew said. Koffing began spewing sludge at the Squirtle. The Squirtle was blinded and began staggering around the beach. It hit it’s head on a tree and it fainted. “Pokeball Go,” Matthew shouted. The ball hit the Squirtle and the Squirtle was captured in the pokeball. “I caught a Squirtle,” Matthew shouted. They both headed to the pokemon center to get their pokemon healed. While their pokemon were being healed Justin went over to the PC. He went into his computer and brought out the pokemon he got at the pokemon convention last year. When the pokeball appeared Justin opened it to make sure the pokemon was still ok. Th red beam of light formed into a Polywhirl. Justin checked out the pokemon to find it was ok. Then Nurse Joy came back with their pokemon. The put the balls on their belts and then they headed to the Pokemart. Justin bought a few extra pokeballs and some pokemon food. Matthew didn’t buy anything. Then they headed to the north shore of Cinnabar Island. When they reached the shore it was late. Instead of walking all the way home they decided to camp out on the beach. When Justin laid out on his sleeping bag he saw something poking out from underneath the bag. He moved the blanket to find a small egg under it. “What in the world is this,” he murmured under his breath. He grabbed his pokedex from on top of his backpack. “Species Unknown: there is more pokemon to be identified,” the pokedex quoted. “If Matthew knew about this he would take it,” Justin thought, “ He thinks he can take car of pokemon better than me.” “I will show him that I can take care of pokemon better than him,” Justin said. He opened his bag and wrapped the egg in his clothes. He than put all the stuff he found in the mansion at the bottom of his bag. Matthew came back with firewood and a new pokeball on his belt. What is in the pokeball Matt?” Justin asked him. “ When I was gathering firewood this popped out of the ground,” he said. He opened the pokeball and a Shellder appeared. “ Cool,” Justin said. Matthew pulled the pokemon back into the pokeball. “ Should I tell him about all of the stuff I found?” Justin thought. Before Justin even had a chance Matthew laid down and started sleeping. “ Oh well I will tell him tomorrow,” Justin thought. He than too fell asleep.
Chapter 3
When Justin woke up the next morning he had a lovely smell invade his nose. He went out of the tent to find Matthew frying Doduo eggs. “ How long have you been up?” Justin asked sleepily. “ Since about 6:00 Am,” Matthew said. “ Look at what I found,” Matthew said. He held up four different metal objects. Two of them where squares and two of them where circular. Justin pulled out his pokedex and pointed it at the circles. “ TM’s Blizzard and Metronome,” the pokedex said in it’s usual mechanical voice. “ Cool,” Matt said. Justin than pointed the pokedex at the two squares. “ The one on the left is a item finder and I do not know the other,” the pokedex said. Wow,” Matt said. “ What a goofball,” Justin thought. “ Let me see that other one,” Justin said. Matthew handed it to him. Justin pushed the button on the unknown device. It grew in size a little and popped open. Inside there were holes for six pokeballs in their miniscule size. Justin put his five pokeballs in the machine. He closed it and it started making a funny noise. When Justin opened the machine his pokeballs looked okay. He opened all of the pokeballs and the pokemon all came out. They all were healed and were all happy. “ It is a portable pokecenter,” Justin said. Yeah,” Matt said, “ Let’s head to Pallet Town.” “ Yeah I got just the pokemon to take us there,” Justin said, “ Go Lapras.” The ball hit the dirt and opened letting Lapras into the water. “ Where did you get that Lapras?” Matt asked. “ I found it in the pokeball in the mansion,” Justin said as he climbed onto Lapras’ back. “ Why didn’t you tell me?” Matt asked. “ Just slipped my mind,” Justin answered. “ Come on lets go Matt,” Justin said. Matthew climbed onto Lapras’ back. As Lapras began the swim to Pallet Matthew decided to go swim for a while. Matthew took of his shirt and jumped into the water. He was able to keep up with Lapras, which surprised Justin. Matthew suddenly dove under the water suddenly. Justin told Lapras to stop. Justin waited for about ten minutes and then he realized that Matt was in trouble. Justin pulled Polywhirl’s pokeball off his belt and opened it. “ Polywhirl go get Matthew,” Justin said. Polywhirl just stood there and had a confused look on his face. “ Come-on Polywhirl,” Justin said in an annoyed voice, “ You know the short dorky looking kid.” Polywhirl nodded and jumped into the water. He came back up with Matthew and Matthew wasn’t moving. “ OH MY GOD,” Justin shouted. Justin looked into the water to see a bunch of Tentacruels. “ YOU MOTHER #$&*^@%,” Justin shouted. “Polywhirl hypnosis attack,” Justin shouted. Polywhirl’s stomach started turning in circles. Soon all the Tentacruels were asleep. “ Pokeball Go,” Justin shouted. The pokeball hit the nearest Tentacruel and it was captured. The ball bounced into his hands and he had a new pokemon. He threw Matt’s Squirtle into the water. Justin wrapped a rope on Polywhirl and Squirtle and tied the other end to Lapras. They made it to Pallet in about 15 minutes. Justin called the pokemon back into the pokeballs. Justin called out Ponyta and put Matt on his back. Justin jumped on Ponyta’s back and road to the nearest hospital. When he got there he called Ponyta back into the pokeball and threw Matt over his shoulder. He ran inside and showed the nurse his brother. She gasped and called the doctor. He took his brother and went into the emergency room and told Justin to go find something to do and that this could take a while. He walked to the pokecenter and got his pokemon healed. He handed over his and Matt’s pokeballs. Nurse Joy said it would be a while before the pokemon were healed. “ Ok,” Justin said shakily. He sat down and started thinking about Matt. He decided to call his Mom when Nurse Joy appeared and gave him his and his brother’s pokemon. “ You have a nice pokemon collection,” Nurse Joy commented. “ Thanks,” Justin said glumly. Just then Team Rocket busted into the pokemon center.
