Jennifer Westfeldt
Melissa

New to the television scene is Jennifer Westfeldt, starring as Melissa the kindergarten teacher in "Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place." She may be a rookie but she's sure caught on fast and we see a bright career ahead.

Choosing off-Broadway as her place to make a name for herself, Westfeldt has starred as Luisa in "The Fantasticks," Raina in "Arms and the Man," as well as in the world premiere of Richard Foreman's "Young Goodman Brown."

Along the way, she has made her presence felt in regional theaters, starring in this long list of plays: as Wendy in the Trevor Nunn/John Caird adaptation of "Peter Pan," Johanna in "Sweeney Todd," Phillia in "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum," Alice in "You Can't Take It With You" and Julie Jordan in "Carousel."

This hot young theater star is now broadening her repertoire to become not only an actress but a playwright and screenwriter, with "Lipschtick", a play in which she co-wrote and co-starred, and is now adapting for the screen.
