MEMBER since 1998: Jarodsgirl: I first became a fan of Michael Terry Weiss during his long haired days on DAYS OF OUR LIVES as Dr. Mike Horton. Then one late school night a made for T.V movie was on called "Remeber Me" and was ordered to go to bed before the end and so I taped the last half. When I started watching The Pretender (4th episode of the series) I recognized the handsome and convincing actor and watched the ending of my old tape over and over again. My appreciation grew larger and larger by each episode, each Coats for Chicago comercial, every interview. What put me over the top was his shared enviornmental opinions and active measures he was taking, since this is an important issue that I value very much and I think our enviornment is by far the most important issue in our modern world. MEMBER since 1998: Jennifer Lynn. I have thoroughly enjoyed every episode of The Pretender, since the pilot first aired. I was so impressed with the range and depth of Michael's acting, that I then found all of his other film work. I enjoyed all of them, albeit in different ways. His work in 'Jeffrey' moved me more then any other art - in any form, ever had before. Michael has the innate ability to portray both strength and gentleness, intelligence and naivete, all at the same time. He has the awesome ability to emote so realistically, that we feel as if we are intruding on a private moment, while watching him. His forte, in making a scene real, are the everyday, natural gestures that just happen, but seem too instinctive and natural to be acting. The way he selflessly embraces every role and totally immerses himself in it, to fully portray every facet of the character, is a privilege to watch, and awesome to 'feel'. MEMBER since 1998: Hi, I'm Scott (no, not Scott Covey, although I think it's cool that Michael T. Weiss did a character with my first name). I've been a fan of Michael T. Weiss since I saw him in the remake of the "Dark Shadows" series. He was perfect as Joe Haskell and Peter Bradford... and I liked the way he was able to express the "time" he was in, not only with the clothing he wore, but with his actions, body stance, and speech patterns. When Peter spoke, you were in the 18th century. When Joe spoke, you were in the 20th century. I just think Michael T. Weiss is a great actor, and I hope he keeps working so we can all enjoy him for decades to come.

MEMBER since 1998: Richcranium. Just like Jarod, I have a deep appreciation for anything "unofficial." That word gives us the sense of something mysterious and clandestine. Michael T. Weiss as an actor gives us something unique, there is none other likehim. He's great looking, sure, and smart, but he also has an inborn power to affect us that might be the secret of his growing success. I find even the darker side of his characters appealing.
