Back to the Disasters Page*Authors Note* I am a fan for D/J but I thought I would do something different this time. So this is for you P/J Fans.
"Pacey, you WHAT?!?!?" Joey asked out of shock.
"OK. Jo. One last time. I have two all expense paid trips to Hawaii and I
want you to
come with me. Do you want to come?" Pacey asked the most beautiful woman he
had
ever seen in his life.
"Hell yeah!! I coming!!" She exclaimed and ran and gave Pacey a big hug.
"Great!" Pacey said as he was leaving. " We have one week before we leave."
After three days of being there, they had done almost everything they had
wanted to
do. They were so excited that they were there, they ran out and did
everything they
wanted to do as fast as the could.
The fourth morning there, Pacey asked. " Jo, what do you want to do today?"
"I don't know, Pacey. We've done almost everything here. Let's go down to
the beach
and relax." Joey suggested.
"Great idea. We'll go after breakfast." Pacey laid on the bed and turned the
T.V. on.
"Once again. There is a chance of some volcanic activity in the area. We
want
everyone to stay inside. " Joey and Pacey looked at eachother in shock. The
newsman
continued. " We have also been informed that there will be no flights or boats
out of
Hawaii today."
"Great! Our first time in Hawaii and this has to happen." Joey said as she
took the
remote from Pacey and turned of the T.V. "Now what are we supposed to do?"
"Just because this damn volcano ruined our day, it don't mean we don't have
anything
to do. Let's go down to the lobby and see what the people are doing. Then we
can see
what we will do the rest of the day." Pacey grabbed Joey's hand and walked to
the
elevator.
*This feels so right. * They thought at the same time. Then smiled and looked
at
eachother.
On the way down the elevator, the felt the ground shake, which caused the
elevator to
stop.
"It has to be that volcano." Pacey said. He noticed Joey getting worried.
He went and
grabbed her in his arms. "It don't mean that it went off. It just means it
has produced
some activity to cause the ground to shake. I thought you were the science
genius.
Don't you remember any of this from class?" He asked Joey with a smile.
Joey playfully shoved him but stayed in his arms.
"Yeah I do. It just scared
me that's all.
Is the elevator stuck?"
Pacey pushed the buttons. "Yep. It looks like we are trapped together."
"Well, I could think of worst people to be stuck with." She smiled at him.
"I know like Jen. But who would you rather be stuck with, Me or Dawson?"
Pacey
asked. He had to know. It was bothering him.
Joey looked at him and freed herself from his grip. "I knew this would come
up
sometime during this trip. If it was a month ago, Dawson. But my feelings
towards him
have changed a lot. And now I know we are just friends. Right now, I am glad
with who I
got stuck with. Pacey, I know we make fun of eachother all the time. But I
have grown to
love you this past month." Joey said almost in tears.
"Joey, I love you, too." Pacey walked to her grabbed her in his arms. "Thanks
for
coming on this trip with me. You have made this trip great. Volcano or no
volcano."
Joey looked at him and started to kiss him. Then the elevator started to
move, which
cause them to break their kiss.
"Damn elevator." They said at the same time. They laughed and got off arm in
arm.
"Pacey, what do you think Dawson's going to do when he finds out we are going
out?"
Joey asked as the walked into the lobby.
"Jo, I don't know and I don't care. He blew his chance with the best woman in
the
world." He bent down and kissed her on the check.
"Pacey, one more question."
"Yes, baby."
"How did you get these tickets?"
"Joey, trust me you don't want to know." They both laughed.
"Come on, Pacey. Tell me." She begged him.
"OK. OK. I got them off of some contest on the Internet. Happy?"
"Yeah, I am now." She looked up at him and he kissed her on the lips.
They walked to the front desk and Pacey asked the lady. " Has the warning been
taken
off?"
"Yes, it has, sir. It ended about ten minutes ago."
"Thank you." Joey said as Pacey looked at his watch. Then he got an idea.
"Joey, come with me."
"Where are we going?"
Pacey smiled. "You'll see when we get there."
He lead Joey to the beach. "I wanted to watch the sunset with the girl of my
dreams."
She leaned over and kissed him passionately. "I love you, Pacey Witter."
"I love you, Josephine Potter." That was the first time she didn't mind
anyone calling her
by her first name.
They sat in the sand and watched the sunset, more in love than ever.
