"Real Me" (10/3/00)
SLAY, SISTER, SLAY- While Buffy and Giles heat up the training, Buffy and Dawn’s sibling rivalry gets them into trouble when a new gang of vampires target the slayer. Across town, when the magic shop is ransacked and the owner killed, Giles thinks he may have found a new hub for the Scooby gang.
"The Replacement" (10/10/00)
When a crafty demon out Buffy hunting accidentally catches Xander in his sights, a mysterious Xander double (guest star Kelly Schultz) is born. Two Xanders aren't better than one as the evil double quickly takes over Xander's identity, fooling everyone including Buffy, and starts living Xander's life with a flourish.
"Out Of My Mind" (10/17/00)
STAND BY YOUR MAN- Buffy is in a race against time when the physical aftereffects of Riley's being used as a lab rat for months by The Initiative threatens his very life. When Riley stubbornly refuses help and goes into hiding, Buffy reluctantly turns to Spike for help, but he takes advantage of her situation for his own plot to rid his life of the slayer once and for all.
"No Place Like Home" (10/24/00)
We're finally going to find out what is behind that mysterious Dawn kid this week. An unseen evil pays a visit to Sunnydale and ends up helping Buffy discover more about her strange, secretive sibling. Seems Dawn is "The Key" to either great good or great evil, and certain forces out there wouldn't mind getting their paws on the kid in order to use her for their own naughtiness --including Clare Kramer, who joins the cast as a minion from hell, sent to destroy Dawn. Unfortunately, minions from hell are the least of the Summers family troubles. It looks like Joyce's health woes will continue, distressing the girls and totally confusing them when she falls ill again without any explanation, medical or supernatural. Has moms been taking her vitamins?
"Family" (11/7/00)
Just when we though it was safe for Willow to be happy again. It's Tara's birthday and the family unit pays a surprise visit to Sunnydale. Things go well until brother Donny reveals a shocking Tara secret that could endanger the lives of each and every Scooby. Things go from bad to worse when Glory, the devil in the red dress, recruits a new minion who she expects will help her take down the Slayer. Puh-leese. Obviously the evil broad still holds a grudge from back when Buff stole her holy man. Just watch out for those spiked heels. Meanwhile, Giles and Buffy hit the books and the streets in an attempt to learn about the evil that is haunting the new and improved Summers family.
"Fool For Love" (11/14/00)
When Buffy wants to learn more about Slayers of the past and their final battles she heads to the expert. William the Bloody (a.k.a. Spike) has "offed" two Slayers over the years and Buffy wants to know how. Do we really expect Spike to dish the real dirt? Given his latest fantasies and dreams, there's a good chance he will. So class begins for Professor Spike and his Slayer student, and his flashbacks reveal the goods. We'll witness Spike's first meeting with his true love Drusilla and how Angel and Darla ended up joining them to become the gruesome foursome.
"Shadow" (11/21/00)
Glory conjures up a nasty, evil beast that should help her sniff out "The Key." It's Giles who ends up inadvertently selling Glory the transmogrification artifacts. Hey-- sale's a sale. So it's up to Buffy to protect the little squirt. If you've spied the episodic promos running this week, you'll see that the kid is really in for it -- but we trust the Slayer will take care of business.
"Listening to Fear" (11/28/00)
Extra-terrestrials take up residence in Sunnydale. As the entire Summers' family prepares for Joyce's brain surgery, a freakish interplanetary being becomes fixated on our patient-to-be. Seems it's pretty easy to infiltrate the homestead when the head-of-house is delusional and befuddled. This could be more dangerous than Dawn inviting vamps in the house.
"Into The Woods" (12/19/00)
ONCE BITTEN - Spike disrupts Buffy's one moment of peace after her mom's successful operation to expose Riley's late nights spent in the arms of a vampire, sending an upset and bewildered Buffy into a tailspin and putting their relationship in turmoil.

"Crush" (2/13/01)
SPIKE CONFESSES HIS LOVE TO THE SLAYER - Buffy confronts Spike about his suspected crush and is appalled by his admission of love, and her brutal rejection sends him back into the clutches of Drusilla who has returned to Sunnydale intent on returning Spike to his killer ways.
"I Was Made To Love You" (2/20/01)
THE PERFECT WOMAN - Buffy must stop a heartbroken young woman who was manufactured to be the perfect girlfriend from destroying the city and then finds herself comforting the creation over the loss of love in both of their lives.
"The Body" (2/27/01)
"Forever" (4/17/01)
There's nothing Angel likes better than a damsel in distress--unless of course, the distressed damsel happens to be the love of his very long life, Buffy Summers. So when Angel gets word about the death of Buffy's mother, he
returns to Sunnydale and a very distraught Slayer who falls happily
(as happily as one can be while lamenting the loss of her mother)
into his loving arms. While some look to the past for healing, others look to the future. Mourning in her own way, Dawn takes it upon herself to concoct a
magic spell she believes will bring her mother back to life.
We smell trouble.
"Intervention" (4/24/01)
Buffy's been a little out of sorts of late, what with the death
of her mom and all. Slaying is the furthest thing on her mind, to
say the least. In order to regain her focus, our girl heads out to
a sacred location on a quest, guided by that freakish and very
muddy, first-ever Slayer. Back at the Hellmouth, Spike's got Glory's minions believing he's the Key after he creates an unbelievably life-like robot.
Unfortunately for the Scoobies, said robot is a picture perfect
replica of Buffy--and it's totally devoted to Spike.
Can you say ultimate confusion?
"Tough Love" (5/1/01)
A MEMBER OF THE SCOOBY GANG IS SACRIFICED - Buffy must step up as the authority figure for Dawn now that their mom is gone, all the while fearful that Glory is closer to discovering the Key when a member of the Scooby gang is her latest victim.
"Spiral" (5/8/01)
BUFFY AND THE GANG FLEE SUNNYDALE - Buffy explodes into action and takes the gang on the road once Glory discovers that Dawn is the Key. While on the run, things happen fast as Giles and Spike are wounded, Dawn learns she has the power to destroy the universe, and Willow stays close to an incoherent Tara.
"The Weight of the World" (5/15/01)
WILLOW GOES INTO THE MIND OF THE SLAYER TO BRING BUFFY BACK - Buffy slips into catatonia after Glory kidnaps Dawn and prepares to bring about the end of the world, so Willow uses her wicca talents to reach Buffy deep inside her innermost secrets and subconscious fears.
"The Gift (5/22/01)
