{After a conversation with Lucky}

Stefan:  {Walking into the house} “I caught the launch as soon as we hung up. What's happened?”

Laura:  “My whole life has just completely unraveled. It didn't just happen tonight. It's taken many, many years. You know, I thought that I was holding everything together until I took a look around and I realized that nobody was here. You know, my family was always everything to me. It was my whole life. But I destroyed it, and I don't even know how or when, but I -- I did.”

Laura:  “They're -- they're gone. They're all gone. {She begins to cry} I don't have a family anymore. {Stefan holds out his arms to her} They're gone.”

Stefan:  {He takes her in his arms} “You're wrong, Laura. You have a family. You have a family. Not the one you expected, but a family nonetheless. Nikolas and I are waiting. All you have to do is come home.”
