Denise has come to Holden and Lily's house for a visit with Hope. Lily is reluctant to give Hope to Denise. Ben says that if they all would be more open about their feelings, things would go smoother. Lily says that she feels like a hit and run victim. Holden tells her it is time to get on with it. Lily gives the baby to Denise. Denise asks Lily if this is the way that she likes to be held. Lily and Holden watch Denise as she hugs her daughter close to her. Lily and Holden go outside to get some air and to give Denise some time alone with Hope. Lily starts to cry when she thinks about her real daughter and where she might be. Later, Holden whispers in Lily's ear that Denise's hour is up. Lily rushes into the living room and tells Denise that her time is up and to give Hope back to her. Denise looks at them and hugs Hope closer. There is a knock at Molly's hotel room door. She is expecting Reid, but when she opens the door, Andy is standing there. She is in shock and can't speak for a minute. Andy questions her and she tries to explain why she is acting so strange. She tells him that she has not been feeling good about their relationship. Downstairs Carly has run into Reid who is on his way up to Molly's room. Reid informs her that he and Julia are together now and Jack is no more. Carly tells him that Jack is like a drug, once a girl gets him in her system, she has a hard time getting him out. Carly says that if he thought getting Julia off the pills was hard, just wait until he tries to get her to forget about the love of her life. Jack is telling her that he now realizes what a controlling jerk he has been and he is going to stop. He intends to make things between them better and he would like another chance to prove it to her. Reid asks about Carly. Julia says that Jack said that Carly will not come between them anymore. Reid asks Jack if he has told Julia how he got out to California? Jack looks at him hesitating. He tells Julia that Carly flew him out here. Julia gets upset and says that Reid is right, Jack is a fraud. Julia looks past Jack and there stands Carly. Julia tells Jack that she wants him to go away. He tells her that she doesn't have to do everything that Reid tells her to do. She says that she isn't, she is making this decision on her own. She tells Jack that Carly will always be between them, like gum stuck to the bottom of your shoe that you can't scrape off. She tells him that Carly is everywhere that Jack goes and then she yells out, "Right Carly?" Carly walks around the corner, she had been standing there listening to everything. Jack, once again, tries to plead his case to her, but Julia doesn't want to hear it, she just wants him to go. Carly chimes in and tells Julia that she is giving up the best thing that ever happened to her. She says that Julia should not blame Jack for everything that she had done. Julia tells them that she has had it and wants both of them to leave. Jack walks out and punches a post on his way out. Carly tells Julia that she just made a very stupid mistake and she leaves. Reid tries to comfort her, but she just wants to be alone. Reid says that he understands and leaves.

Jack continues investigating Reid, although Hal has asked him to stop. Holden hires a private investigator. Eddie admits his feelings for Georgia. Georgia is surprised by Eddie's attempt at kissing her. Julia finds out Melinda has a secret problem. Katie is surprised to see Georgia and Eddie kissing. Julia is shocked to learn that Hope isn't Lily and Holden's biological daughter. Denise continues to bond with Hope. Georgia and Eddie finally admit their feelings for each other.

Bob and Chris argue about Chris' credit card charges on Bob's card. Reid finds out Jack is investigating Rita and in turn, Jack and Reid argue. Jack hits Reid and then is arrested and suspended by Hal. Margo brings Alec home and the kids aren't happy. Eddie decides to attend Deena's high school reunion. Andy asks Molly what is bothering her. As their scheduled wedding date draws near, Jack and Julia are sad. Reid tries to help Julia get through it. Alec makes an job offer to Margo. Alec throws a party to celebrate the opening of a new magazine.

Reid looks for Rita and can't find her. Brad tells Carly he'll divorce her if she sleeps with him and they have a real honeymoon. Rita realizes the truth about Reid. Rita puts two-and-two together and figures out Reid is David Stenbeck. Molly proposes to Andy on "In Your Face". Andy declines. Ben, Denise, and people at the Lakeview and WOAK wear red ribbons in awareness of this year's Day of Compassion. Rita sends Lily a letter with "Urgent information about your baby".Rosanna comes to Oakdale. Reid proposes to Julia. Lily and Holden go on television to plead for information about their biological daughter. Chris asks Kim if she can get Katie a job at WOAK. But it is too late, Georgia already got the job.

Rosanna comes to Oakdale. Gary wants the money, Lily wants the baby. Gary locks Lily up in an abandoned bulding which is going to be blown up. Carly and Jack spend the night locked up together in a wine cellar and grow closer. Hal and Barbara walk in on them. Hal and Barbara discuss getting married...again. Vicky and Jake are introduced as new characters. The two hire Nurse Fletcher (the lady who took care of Emily when she was locked up. Carly decides to sleep with Brad in order to get the divorce. Eddie connects with Shirley, who has answers about Deena's past. Emily is back in court to get sentenced. Lila and Cass are introduced as new characters. Julia accepts Reid's proposal, thinking it may help her learn more about his secrets. Julia suspects that Melinda is Hope Jack sees the pair get engaged.Rosanna convinces Brad that it's time to teach Carly a lesson. Tom tells Emily he'll find Nurse Fletcher. Reid re-examines Emily and her sentencing date is changed. The nurse confirms Emily's story. Holden asks Denise for help in finding Lily. Holden finds Lily just as the building is about to be demolished. Gary is arrested. Lily and Holden are concerned about Denise. Georgia and Eddie are concerned about taking a step ahead in their relationship. Alec continues to try and keep Eddie from learning the true identity of his father.
