Denise decides she must be completely honest with Ben, now that she's seen Andy. On Wednesday, May 5, Ben is surprised when Denise tells him that she had a one night stand with Andy and he is the father of her baby. Denise feels she should tell Andy the truth, but when she sees how happy he is with Molly, she decides not to. Holden finds out that the Oasis may have something to do with the baby switch. Ben tells Holden that a baby was born at the Oasis, but the baby was black. Kim is found to be a bone marrow match for Hope. The Snyders are thrilled to learn of the match. Andy worries about his mother. Ben is shocked to learn Holden's secret about David. Reid digs up a body and brings it back to Oakdale. Reid gives Julia a story about why he dug up the body.

Carly catches Reid off-guard. Carly and Reid listen to Jack and Julia break up over the intercom together. The 11,000th episode of ATWT airs. Carly is glad to hear that Jack and Julia broke up. Reid tells Rita to move out so Julia can move in. Margo gives Tom separation papers. Dolores tries to get Camille to stop the wedding between Brad and Carly. After learning her baby is Hope, Denise goes to Lily and Holden's house and spends a little time with her daughter. Ben feels she's getting attached, but Denise tells him she wants Lily and Holden to raise her daughter. Ben convinces Denise to tell Lily and Holden the truth, and she agrees, but later changes her mind. Carly is pleased to hear Jack and Julia split. Carly agrees to marry Brad, but goes to Jack's with her wedding dress on first. Julia shows up and thinks something is happening that isn't. She leaves her engagment ring on the porch and goes to Reid's. Brad shows up at Jack's. Carly tries to make a deal with Brad, but he tells her he'll reveal Parker's true father if she doesn't marry him. Carly decides to go ahead with the wedding, but hopes Jack will come and stop it.

The Oasis is set to re-open and Georgia does some scheming to help Eddie out. She gets the group 98° to perform. Rita slips something into Julia's tea. Reid finds Julia unconscious. Julia thinks Reid drugged her. Together they figure out it must have been Rita. Jack questions Rita, and Rita ends up being suspended from her job. Reid convinces Rita to commit herself to an institution. Julia goes to the police station to see Jack. Carly is there, and finds Julia's ring. Carly tries it on and Julia thinks Jack proposed to Carly, not knowing Carly married Brad. Julia agrees to leave town with Reid. Jack goes to Groverton, but doesn't find Julia. Jack continues his search. After Hope's disappearance, Lily and Holden ask Jack to help them legally keep Denise away from Hope. Ben visits Gary in jail and gets more information about David. Emily has a plan to avoid going to jail right away. She pays Rita a visit and is surprised. Carly makes Julia believe Jack isn't looking for her and makes Jack believe Julia has moved on also.

Reid meets Charlotte, Julia's mother. Charlotte learns about the broken engagement. Reid and Charlotte make a deal to keep Jack and Julia apart. Jack finds out where Julia is. Hal helps Jack out and Carly offers her help. Charlotte tries to deter Jack. Liam, an old friend of Julia's, gives her support and comfort. Holden tells Lily that Hope isn't their daughter and Lily tries to deal with this revelation. Emma helps Lily and Holden deal with the situation. Ben fully supports Denise and he asks Lily and Holden for a favor. 98° (Yes, 98° did perform. And if you want to know, they sang "The Hardest Thing" off of their recent album "98° and Rising".) performing at the Oasis is a success. Eddie and Georgia are pleased the concert went so well. Alec offers to help Camille with her modeling career. Margo gets a bit jealous.

Denise has come to Holden and Lily's house for a visit with Hope. Lily is reluctant to give Hope to Denise. Ben says that if they all would be more open about their feelings, things would go smoother. Lily says that she feels like a hit and run victim. Holden tells her it is time to get on with it. Lily gives the baby to Denise. Denise asks Lily if this is the way that she likes to be held. Lily and Holden watch Denise as she hugs her daughter close to her. Lily and Holden go outside to get some air and to give Denise some time alone with Hope. Lily starts to cry when she thinks about her real daughter and where she might be. Later, Holden whispers in Lily's ear that Denise's hour is up. Lily rushes into the living room and tells Denise that her time is up and to give Hope back to her. Denise looks at them and hugs Hope closer. There is a knock at Molly's hotel room door. She is expecting Reid, but when she opens the door, Andy is standing there. She is in shock and can't speak for a minute. Andy questions her and she tries to explain why she is acting so strange. She tells him that she has not been feeling good about their relationship. Downstairs Carly has run into Reid who is on his way up to Molly's room. Reid informs her that he and Julia are together now and Jack is no more. Carly tells him that Jack is like a drug, once a girl gets him in her system, she has a hard time getting him out. Carly says that if he thought getting Julia off the pills was hard, just wait until he tries to get her to forget about the love of her life. Jack is telling her that he now realizes what a controlling jerk he has been and he is going to stop. He intends to make things between them better and he would like another chance to prove it to her. Reid asks about Carly. Julia says that Jack said that Carly will not come between them anymore. Reid asks Jack if he has told Julia how he got out to California? Jack looks at him hesitating. He tells Julia that Carly flew him out here. Julia gets upset and says that Reid is right, Jack is a fraud. Julia looks past Jack and there stands Carly. Julia tells Jack that she wants him to go away. He tells her that she doesn't have to do everything that Reid tells her to do. She says that she isn't, she is making this decision on her own. She tells Jack that Carly will always be between them, like gum stuck to the bottom of your shoe that you can't scrape off. She tells him that Carly is everywhere that Jack goes and then she yells out, "Right Carly?" Carly walks around the corner, she had been standing there listening to everything. Jack, once again, tries to plead his case to her, but Julia doesn't want to hear it, she just wants him to go. Carly chimes in and tells Julia that she is giving up the best thing that ever happened to her. She says that Julia should not blame Jack for everything that she had done. Julia tells them that she has had it and wants both of them to leave. Jack walks out and punches a post on his way out. Carly tells Julia that she just made a very stupid mistake and she leaves. Reid tries to comfort her, but she just wants to be alone. Reid says that he understands and leaves.
