The Cassadines

The matriarch of the Cassadine family. Her great accomplishments include giving birth to Stefan and collecting an interesting assortment of boy toys. Her ambition in life seems to be the destruction of the Spencer family and acquiring the Cassadine fortune that belongs to her grandson Nikolas. She doesn't seem to be particularly good at either of these things, but she keeps trying, ya gotta give her points for that. She does have an impressive record of getting away with murder.

Alexis: You fooled the authorities again, which is your hobby -- to murder people and get away with it.

Nikolas: My grandmother hasn't had a friend a day in her whole life.

Stefan: Of course Alexis wants you dead. Who doesn't?

Stefan Cassadine. (Stephen Nichols)

"I just happen to be very good at games. It must be a family trait."

Stefan is sometimes father, sometimes uncle to Nikolas. His great passion in life was once Laura Spencer, however they have recently parted ways. Not to worry though, Steffie always has another blonde waiting in the wings (Katherine Bell, Chloe Morgan...if they're blonde and clueless, you can bet Stefan is goin' courtin'.) Stefan has many enemies, most notably Luke Spencer (the prime suspect in Stefan's faked murder) and his own mother, Helena, who is always trying to get her hands on the Cassadine fortune, of which Stefan was the trustee until his untimely "death."

Chloe: Have you always been this negative?

Nikolas Cassadine. (Coltin Scott)

Nikolas' father is the late Stavros Cassadine, which makes him the Cassadine "prince" - heir to the fortune. However, he is also Laura Spencer's son, which makes him half-brother to Lucky and Lesley-Lu Spencer. He harbors an unrequited love for his half-brother's love, Elizabeth Webber (There is no doubt a genetic aspect to this crush, I just can't figure out if he is genetically programmed to (1) fall for a weepy Webber woman, (2) fall for his brother's woman, or (3) fall for a Spencer's woman. Either way, Nikki is not very original.) Nik has a new lady - Gia - waiting in the wings, now that Lucky & Elizabeth are back together.

Lucky: I forgot how obnoxious and overbearing you could be when you wear your Cassadine hat.

Alexis Davis. (Nancy Lee Grahn)

"I have pinciples and integity." [sic]

"My credibility is shrinking so fast it'll be smaller than my teddy."

Illegitimate daughter of Mikkos Cassadine, Alexis is Stefan's half-sister. Her association with the Cassadine family is dangerous, but it has helped prepare her for the dangers involved in being Sonny Corinthos' lawyer. Sometimes it seems as if she's the only lawyer in PC, with the exception of Scott Baldwin and the eternally incompetent Dara Jensen. Not only is Alexis famous for whippin' Dara's butt in court, but she is the Internet lingerie goddess, aka "Eddie's Angel."

Ned: She might as well just hang a shingle, "married to the mob!"

Carly: Attorney, internet goddess, and floating hostess to boot.

Luke: Natasha of the naughty nightie.
